A Hellfish flys again! ( a Simpsons X DVV CK2 Quest)

I still want to make lime farms to help combat the famine but hey guess next turn we have a plan somewhat figured out already.

So, I got a simple way to get Powell Motors back on the map: affordable, functional electric cars. Oil is getting too expensive, especially with the rest of the planet in God alone knows what state. So we just switch to electric cars. Better for the environment, too. Plus, who's providing all the power locally? Oh, that's right. Us. And we can provide it to a lot of other places, too.

More people using electric cars means people buying more of our electricity. The fat stacks roll in, and we get to take money right out of Glomgold's wallet.
Mind the year. Electric cars aren't either popular or, as far as I'm aware, particularly refined at the moment. Not a terrible idea but probably requiring more ground work and start up than you might be thinking at the moment.

Hell given we're still working on our reactor, don't have solar panels set up, and aren't particularly expanded nationally much less globally we probably also don't even have the resources either.

Gotta start somewhere! Besides, we have no idea how the market is gonna go in this crazy, mixed up world. We need to make smart investments early!

Besides, Lisa would be happy if we did it!

I'm not saying you're wrong, just that it's a lot of work. Though I would say try not to use the uncertainty of markets as an advantage when talking about a potential major resource and income sink, it makes my money sense itch something nasty especially when we have much quicker and debatably effective green energy movements we could make by further working on our reactors or finally making that solar panel we've been sitting on a reality.

Besides that Herbs car business is on the rocks now, it's not exactly in a good position to make a gamble just as we aren't in a good position to actually supply the energy demand as of yet. Really want to make a difference? Put off electric motors for now, we made killer filters to solve the irradiated steel issue. We are primed to make even gas engines relatively emission clear with a modification job.

That'll revitalize Herbs business enough to survive while researching into electric motors and potentially allow us room to start lobbying for new emission regulations for a double dose of green movement and pushing competitors either out of market, into paying us for parts, or setting themselves back with recalls and needing to work on their cars.

Personally, I am not seeing us/Powell Motors managing electric cars any time soon without major prepwork

...say, how much prepwork would my idea of FAllout-style *fusion-powered* cars take?

...say, how much prepwork would my idea of FAllout-style *fusion-powered* cars take?
Even if you get passed the issues of miniaturizing, further shielding, idiot proofing it, needing even further specialized mechanics, and making it capable of safely traveling and being bumped around a ton at the absolute very least you'd need a massive supply of coolant of which I don't believe water would be actually sufficient in it's cooling powress.

Even if water worked since we'd have to tap the oceans to get a supply that isn't being used for debatably more important things, which leads into all kinds of problems (removal of contaminants, dealing with the all the contaminants (and especially salt), processing facilities, ecological impacts of constantly pumping out water from the ocean, all of the fucking steam being released into the atmosphere). Also probably not terribly profitable given the cost unless we start price gouging and unfortunately I have too many morals for that one (yes I know I was advocating for using inhumane psychological warfare on Dracula in the discord, I am aware of the contrast). It'd probably be an even bigger nightmare than electric vehicles unfortunately.

...yeah, so fusion-powered cars are for *far* later if at all - let´s table it for now, then.

But yeah, lots of stuff for us to do next turn - Build New Ecosystems for the exodus of preds fleeing Zystopia, Infiltrating Zootopia proper to get the lay of the land, Talk with Xanatos to draw some lines in the sand, finally ending Bruns miserable existence as a thorn in our side, get the Zombie situation sorted out, maybe expand our businesses, cracking Fusion...

We also still need to build that spy for Scorpio

The inspector Mona tracked down the spy thing for Scorpio, and maybe the iron claw for finale. So much to do on so limited a time.

I've been thinking that Fat Tony would be a good choice for the Scorpio collab (helping to design an evil lair is basically enrichment for a mafioso!), so if we put Mona on the EPA agent again that will, unfortunately, mean that we need to delay any deeper search for the Iron Claw another turn. Fortunately with what we've uncovered so far I figure Finale wouldn't be too put out having to wait a little longer.

If the listed reward for tracking down the EPA agent wasn't so good I'd honestly be willing to let it slide, but a loyalty boost to all Springfield native hero units? That's over half of them! With how tricky it can be to boost hero loyalty I don't think we can ignore that.

turn 7!
Ah. It was another lovely Springfield day.

You had another two months ahead of you of wacky shenanigans and tasks, and you were honestly getting pretty used to it. Being a CEO was certainly tiring, but it had its perks obviously.

You had agreed to help that Scorpio fellow and he said he would send someone over to assist in the process, so that was good. He said she was... eccentric, but she was his best minion! And currently his only minion!

You decided to not discuss that.

Even better, Burns was finally on his last legs. He had absolutely nothing left besides Smithers, a warehouse and random ingredients. His goose was cooked, and you couldn't be happier.

Right now, you were packing your bags to go to the heart of the nearest woods, as that was where the mysterious energy Frink discovered was. He was obviously coming along, and you picked a few others to assist.

Hunter seemed to have survivalist skills (and his buddy Willow said she knew a thing or two about plants. You aren't sure why she said it the way she did, but you get the feeling she's a strange kid), The Finale thrived in nature and Willie could be good muscle if push came to shove.

You double checked your bag, hoping everyone you asked to come along was doing the same.

"Ready as I'll ever be..." You decided.

After giving everyone their assigned tasks, you made your way onwards. It was a bit of a hike, but the excitement was keeping Frink was complaining.

"I spy, with my scary eye, something brown and green." Willow nodded.

"Is it ah 'nother bleeding tree?" Willie deadpanned.

"Dang, you're good."

"Frink, please tell me we're almost there." You sigh.

"Anddd- We're here!" He announced.

They all looked around to see... nothing. Just more trees. Willow seemed happy as she pat the branches, and Hunter was happy she was happy, but everyone else was annoyed to varying degrees.

As Finale and Willie argued with an irritated and confused Frink, you heard the ticking of a clock again.

"WHAT!? There's not even a damn watch here!" You snap, going to kick a random tree... But before your foot connected, it promptly started to glow.

"Ah! Mr. Simpson, what did you do!?" Frink exclaimed. Willie put up his fists and Finale frowned and prepared his gun.

"I dunno! All I did was-!" You started, before the glowing grew unbearable as a portal opened up. Clutching your eyes, you fell forwards.

"MR. SIMPSON!" Hunter tried to grab you, but you just dragged him in with you. Willow screamed and followed suit.

"AGH! YA T'INK WILLIE IS GONNA BE LEFT BEHIND!?" Willie wasted no time following as well.

"Wha- No you idiots! It's a random portal! We....Dang it! They're gone! Finale, we- Uh, what are you doing? PUT ME DOWN!" Frink panicked as the Finale casually picked him up.

"Once more, into the breach." He shrugged, and soon he and the flailing scientist were gone.

All was quiet...

To be continued in "Dripping Ink"!

Upgrade Your Security Force. - DC:50
Now that you are the CEO of Burns company you can see a lack of…security in the building. Sure there's lots of traps keeping the place secure against robbers, but not much on actual competent manpower. It wouldn't hurt to fix that.

Buy Weapons For The Mob (Mafia Action) - DC:35

Train the Springfield Police - DC: 30/60/100

It's been a long time coming... The latest series of robberies have made it even more apparent that Wiggum and the Springfield Police are seriously lacking in... anything resembling competence, even by Springfield standards.

In fact, during the party a few months back, you discovered something truly horrifying, the Shelbyville police department had recently got a upgrade, in the form of a increase in training and funding, and is now in their own words, "Better then Springfields"... and you cannot muster a counterargument against them...

This is not acceptable, Wiggum and his officers must be improved and Shelbyville will be proven wrong!... oh and the crime rate will go down, that too you guess...

Reward: Springfield police are improved, moderate increase in Springfield opinion, increase to the Springfield Police trait, Shelbyville police look worse in comparison, ???

Opening A New Ecosystem - DC:40.

So according to The Finale, there are these walking animals and 2 types of predator and prey around a place called zootopia. Huh, the first time you heard about that. Now apparently the predators aren't being treated right having to wear shock collars that zap them if they get to angry or too scared or to happy...or even to sad...basically if they show to much emotion zap ,so how about you give those folks a place to live where they won't get zapped by making Springfield open to all(animal) predators!.

So why don't you bring back at least some of Springfields glory days by repaving the streets with gold once more!?

Diplomacy
Opening a new ecosystem DC: 40.
Reward: Springfield gets a wave of new citizens(and they're money) Bellwether will be aware of your existence and get slightly annoyed. (Choose this at your own risk).

Stewardship
All that shines is gold now. DC 50 (COST 6 INCOME!)
You'd think the streets were paved with gold, now after jogging your memory for a bit you've remembered when Springfield used to be a city on the growth. Back when the old aqua-car factory was up and running and when half the country wore Springfield galoshes, back then people acted like the streets were paved with gold mostly because they were!
So why don't you bring back at least some of Springfields glory days by repaving the streets with gold once more!? Now this will be expensive, no doubt about it but it would at least bring back memories of Springfields glory days and perhaps even a little bit of that old pride that Springfield used to have.

Rewards: Springfields streets are repaved with gold! Big Tourism increases along with an increase in town pride (Relationship status goes up another rank), slight increase in car accidents.

Occult
Bless Springfield DC 80 (Cost 2 income)

Reward: Demonic entities have to pass a high DC to enter the city, and the ones that do suffer minor debuffs while staying within the city limits.

Question do we have a second martial action due to us having a Head of Security?

Edit: Also why hasn't the mafia actions cost go down due to the crit on our security forces?

New ecosystem please! For great justice and to stick it to Bellwether!

No way José, Bellwheater may not be the most powerful King around but she still can make our lives a living hell, we are nowhere near the level to start messing with King's affairs.

Also Spingfield Police serious need a... lot frankly we can even use Marge sinxe hse has police training!

Edit: in fact she would get even a +10 in her roll to train the police because it was something she worked before!

i way say this, bellweather currently won't go after you if you do that action...mostly because she has bigger issues to deal with (and a truly massive hospital bill to pay because a polar bear will £#ck you up)
