A Hellfish flys again! ( a Simpsons X DVV CK2 Quest)

I replaced all the %numberletter with a / and google just give me rickrolls
"Look at em, just clicking every link they see, we best get going before more of them do"
"If thats the case, we will never leave!"
Dohohohohoh!

Congratulations, You have decoded the first (and final) code!, Statler and Waldorf will do a free action of your choosing next turn as a temporary hero!
Martial: 13: They may be old men, but their still Muppets, to underestimate these hecklers will surely end in a PUNCH-line.
Diplomacy: 6: They are very good at heckling and insulting, less so talking
Stewardship: 15: They have a top luxury box to every Muppet production, presumably their quite wealthy
Intrigue: 21: One of the more observant Muppets, Statler and Waldorf both can identify weaknesses to exploit with extreme speed, and then insult them with extreme force
Learning: 12: They may be old, but their minds are still sharp.
Occult: 0: Occult?, Sorcery?, Dark Magic... You sure your not talking about fozzies "jokes"?

Traits:
Muppet Madness!: Being Muppets, this pair can't avoid making things more lively wherever they go around, to the chagrin of many unfortunately (though, not as bad as toons get it) Statler and Waldorf have their results Reversed, they Critically Succeed whenever they have a Nat 1, and Critically Failing when they gain a Nat 100, a Nat 50 will have... strange... effects, this trait is deactivated if a "success" would normally be impossible using the combined score of all hero's assigned (Abe + Statler and Waldorf + Any Other Hero's and traits) and a "100" roll on the action.

That was a medium sketch?, Medium sketch?... Yeah, it wasn't rare and it wasn't well done: These two elders have become masters of Heckling, on any action involving insults, theatre, or Fozzie Bear, they gain a +10 bonus.

Wake up you old fool. You slept through the show...: Statler and Waldorf are not exactly the kind of muppets to go all in on something, except jokes, baring special events they will always return to being a trait after each time this sheet is used.

...Who's a fool? You watched it: Statler and Waldorf may be assigned to a action with another hero, if this is done they will relentlessly heckle that individual, halving their statistics (Rounding Down) due to being distracted as they focus relentlessly on their poor target, certain hero's may receive maluses or even bonuses depending on who they are assigned on.

Dripping Ink (part2)
Seeing no reason to not at least TRY to endear yourself to the residents of this place, you try to politely approach the cat and man in red.

"Hello there. I'm Abe Simpson. Me and my friends here were just wondering what exactly is going on?" You raise an eyebrow. The Cat groaned.

"Oh, it's been terrible. For a few days now, earthquakes have been ravaging the Wasteland! We have managed to keep people safe, but there's no telling how long that will last. And now the Mad Doctor is back? I like to believe in second chances, I do, but I don't think one act of kindness is enough to fully believe in him…" Ortensia sighed.

"Do not fret, sir. And do excuse our poor manners. I am Gremlin Gus, and this is Ortensia. We assist Oswald to the best of our ability with Taking care of this place." The man in red explained.

"Well, isn't there anyone with expertise in these matters you could potentially seek the assistance of?" Frink piped up.

"Oh, yes. Oswald's brother, Mickey. We were just about to call him and hope he could come down to talk some sense into him, or help him out if he can't." Ortensia explained.

…A Toon named Mickey? Could it be- Naw. No way it's him. You think idly.

"While we go do that, could you check on my husband? I know you just got here, but we would really appreciate it. He's stubborn, but maybe even people he's never met being concerned will make him think twice." Ortensia requested with pleading eyes.

Bah. You can't say no to a cute animal begging.

"Sure." You shrug, and she beams and hugs you.

"Thank you very much! You can take the projector or the train. We will talk later!" She exclaimed before she and Gus took off.

"...Did she say projector?" The Finale asked, even his stoic demeanor slightly taken aback by that.

"Let's find this train instead." Abe noted. Crippler and Badger made noises of agreement, startling you.

"...Were they here this whole time!?"

Xxx

After finding that train, you have an uneventful ride towards a dark, imposing castle. According to another passenger who had long since gotten off, it was called Dark Beauty Castle. Hunter frowned, a bit uncomfortable as Willow put a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"It's not his castle." She said soothingly. Hunter appreciatively squeezed her hand.

You aren't sure what was up with that, and it worried you, but it was none of your business.

The lot of you get off the train and search the halls, keeping eyes and ears out for that rabbit fellow.

Eventually, Willie grunted and held his hand out, gesturing he heard something.

"-And that's the story! If we don't stop the Blotworx, things might get gory!"

Ah. There was that familiar singing.

You all made your way towards a laboratory, where Oswald was listening to the Mad Doctor, looking shocked.

"That's terrible! Right guys?" Oswald exclaimed to you all.

You all awkwardly nod in agreement… before Oswald blinks and looks angry.

"Hey wait a minute! What are you doing here!? You can't just barge into a King's meetings unannounced!!!" Oswald glared.

"Yer wifey sent us." Willie grunted. Oswald immediately calmed down at that, frowning a little.

"She's really that worried, huh? She's the best… but I have to take this risk. For the Wasteland's safety. Besides, if Doc is lying, we've trounced him once, we can do it again." He explained.

"I don't want to be bad as a Rusty gear, but you do realize I am standing right here?" The Mad Doctor grumbled.

Oswald's sweat dropped a bit, but before he could apologize, Ortensia and Gus rushed in.

"Oh Oswald!" The Cat cried. Oswald is immediately by her side.

"Ortensia, sweetie! What's wrong!?" He gasped In worry.

"It's Mickey! He… he.. he's in prison!" Ortensia sniffled.

"WHAT!?"

Xxx

After Ortensia calmed down, she explained she and Gus tried to contact Mickey with a device that they made (The story got briefly side tracked with Oswald complimenting Ortensia on how smart she was and her bashfully trying to deny it) but he was stuck in a cell in a federal prison.

The way Ortensia described his lack of hope made you deeply upset. Hmm. Maybe you should help him, if at all possible… but that was an issue for later.

Oswald paced around, frowning.

"This is terrible! And not just because I know my brother, annoying as he can be, doesn't deserve to be in jail! I finally learned what's been causing the Earthquakes, and we really could have used Mickey and his Paintbrush to help!!!" The rabbit frowned.

"Indeed, my comrade, this is truly, truly bad!" The Mad Doctor agreed.

"Can't you just go to the store and get a paintbrush?" You asked.

"Oh sure, lemme go to the Magic paintbrush store and get a powerful magic item!" Oswald snapped sarcastically.

"Sweetie!" Ortensia narrowed her eyes at him. Oswald sighed and put his hands up.

"Right, right… I'm sorry. But yeah, it's not that simple. It's a MAGIC paintbrush! And none of us can access it, it's outside the Wasteland and none of us Toons can leave!" Oswald explained.

"Why not?"

"... Because we lack hearts?"

As the group of residents discussed things amongst themselves, ignoring your confused expression, you mulled things over.

Hmmm … none of these Toons could leave. But… you weren't a Toon, now were you?

If you could convince them to send you wherever this paintbrush is, you could really help them. You weren't obligated to save these total strangers, but it just didn't feel right not to.

However, only one of you should go, just to be safe. There's no telling what could happen back down here while you were gone!

Who do you volunteer as you convince The Toons to send you to the Paintbrush's location?

[ ] Yourself

[ ] The Finale

[ ] Frink

[ ] Hunter

[ ] Willie

[X] Hunter

send the person with training in magic escp artifacts and tools to get the magic tool+ make him feel better about himself.

Probably a good thing itchy and scratchy aren't here. They likely would have had hearts on them and that would be an issue.

I just think it would be funny. Willie is about the closest one here to a toon.

...why did I just have an image of Willie and Popeye arm-wrestling?^^

But yeah, kind of a tough decision, actually.

On one hand, Hunter would be best for getting the Paintbrush since he´s the closest to an "Occult expert" this group got rn.

On the other hand, exfiltration ops - especially retrieving prisoners like mickey - would be right up Finale´s wheelhouse more or less.

So to me it kinda seems to boil down to our priorities moving forward.
