Hm, as noted, the Finale would probably be better for this sort of infiltration and extraction mission. Hunter would also be a suitable choice, though.

Perhaps it is better that Itchy and Scratchy are not here at this time, given that they still have hearts. It would be rather upsetting for them, though, seeing the state of the Wasteland and their fellow toons who do not have hearts. They would also be very upset to learn of what has happened to their old colleague. If they were here, they would certainly want to help free Mickey.

Of course, freeing Mickey Mouse from prison is probably going to accelerate the upcoming, inevitable confrontation with Doom. Best to prepare for that conflict.

–[X] Hunter
—[X] Play With Flapjack
96

Flapjack was fully healed from that scuffle with a stray cat awhile ago. As a result, Hunter was more than happy to play with him.

After a while, Hunter was chasing Flapjack around cheerfully, when suddenly a car came unexpectedly! Hunter screamed, but Flapjack flew up to him and suddenly, with a burst of golden light, Hunter was out of the way.

"... Flapjack, you're just full of surprises."

Flapjack just chirped and took a nap on his head.

Results: Flapjack unlocked as a Trait for Hunter!
Flapjack: Flapjack can add +3 to Occult based rolls and +5 to combat rolls.

...since Hunter was chosen for our current endeavours earlier, wanted to ask if this Trait will help or not considering "Dripping Inks" seemingly weird placement within the timeline and all

"Look at em, just clicking every link they see, we best get going before more of them do"
"If thats the case, we will never leave!"
Dohohohohoh!

Congratulations, You have decoded the first (and final) code!, Statler and Waldorf will do a free action of your choosing next turn as a temporary hero!
Martial: 13: They may be old men, but their still Muppets, to underestimate these hecklers will surely end in a PUNCH-line.
Diplomacy: 6: They are very good at heckling and insulting, less so talking
Stewardship: 15: They have a top luxury box to every Muppet production, presumably their quite wealthy
Intrigue: 21: One of the more observant Muppets, Statler and Waldorf both can identify weaknesses to exploit with extreme speed, and then insult them with extreme force
Learning: 12: They may be old, but their minds are still sharp.
Occult: 0: Occult?, Sorcery?, Dark Magic... You sure your not talking about fozzies "jokes"?

Traits:
Muppet Madness!: Being Muppets, this pair can't avoid making things more lively wherever they go around, to the chagrin of many unfortunately (though, not as bad as toons get it) Statler and Waldorf have their critical failure and success threshold reversed and expanded. On any action assigned to them, they crit fail when they roll 90-100, and critical succeed when they roll a 1-10.

That was a medium sketch?, Medium sketch?... Yeah, it wasn't rare and it wasn't well done: These two elders have become masters of Heckling, on any action involving insults, theatre, or Fozzie Bear, they gain a +10 bonus.

Wake up you old fool. You slept through the show...: Statler and Waldorf are not exactly the kind of muppets to go all in on something, except jokes, baring special events they will always return to being a trait after each time this sheet is used.

...Who's a fool? You watched it: Statler and Waldorf may be assigned to a action with another hero, if this is done they will relentlessly heckle that individual, halving their statistics (Rounding Down) due to being distracted as they focus relentlessly on their poor target, certain hero's may receive maluses or even bonuses depending on who they are assigned on.

Okay, guys, the QM just rnudged us on the Discord that they added Statler´s and Waldorfs stats and I have to say one thing:

Friggin hell, they definitely need some counterintuitive strategies to make them...work...

shit

they could be perfect if "Teaming up" with HOMER

provived his Box of Donuts proccs fully

Either that or I am sorely misunderstanding their *Muppet Madness* trait - probably that in retrospect...

Dripping Ink (part3)
As the group continued to debate, you came to a decision. You whistled loudly to get their attention.

"Well hold on now. Let's say someone did have a heart. Could they get out of here for long enough to grab this supposed magic paintbrush?" You asked. Oswald frowned with a hum.

"Ok, I'll humor ya. If someone here miraculously DID have a heart, we have an old cannon we could use to launch 'em outta here. But since none of us do-" He began.

"Hunter does." You interrupted, jerking a thumb at the lad. He blinked in surprise.

Now, you didn't feel right lying, but something was telling you in your gut it was a bad idea to let them know about ALL of you having Hearts (at least you did last time you checked). And honestly, if anyone tried anything, Hunter or Finale were the most likely to be able to defend themselves. And you had a feeling Hunter was more likely to be able to handle being shot out of a cannon than your fellow elder.

The Toons stared in slack jawed surprise. The Mad Doctor was the first to break the silence, eagerly approaching Hunter and looking him up and down.

"Friend friend friend, how did you get here in the end!?" He grinned. Ortensia glared at him and pulled him back, and the Man coughed and composed himself.

"Well… I suppose if someone with a heart can get here once, it can happen again. I am going to have some serious questions, but that's for later. Are you willing to help us?" Oswald asked Hunter with a serious expression.

Hunter, though clearly still a bit floored, bowed.

"...A friend and Mr. Simpson have both shown me the benefits of helping people. I would be honored to save your home." He said seriously.

"Alrighty then. Thanks, but geez, you don't gotta bow. I ain't that kind of King." Oswald chuckled.

"Yer a bloody king!?" Willie blinked.

"That DOES explain the castle." Frink noted.

"Again, we can talk later. Gus! FIRE UP THE CANNON!"

Soon, Hunter was put inside a cannon, prepared to be blasted.

"Ready?" Oswald asked.

"Uh, wait, gimme a sec-" Hunter began.

"FIRE!" Gus shouted, pulling the mechanism to launch it. Hunter screamed as he was sent flying up, up, up… and was soon out of sight.

Willow frowned worriedly, and you put a hand on her shoulder.

Hunter could handle this… you hoped.

Xxx

You were Hunter Noceda, and you screamed as you landed face first in what appeared to be a cluttered workshop.

"Ugh… the things I do to help…" you muttered, Dusting yourself off. You looked around, rubbing your jaw.

"Ok, looking for a paint brush…"

You continued onwards. A broom fell and you jumped back.

"Blegh. I am way too jumpy…" you muttered. The broom… picked itself up with arms and returned itself to its proper place.

"...Neat." You stated. Magic here was pretty different to the Boiling Isles sometimes…

After some searching, you found the Paint Brush! It was…behind a glass case.

"...Not very good defenses for something so supposedly powerful." You raised an eyebrow. But hey, who were you to complain? You grabbed the brush and walked over to a map with a large structure on it where you started.

"...Wait, how do I get back!?" You panicked, realizing you never asked. The broom from earlier strutted over.

"...Hello-"

You were promptly picked up and thrown into the map, and you screamed as you fell.

Xxx

You were Abe Simpson, and just as you were getting worried, Hunter collapsed as he landed next to you, twitching as he held up the paint brush.

"I got it…" He whined in a daze.

"Oh my goodness, the kid really did it!!!" Oswald gasped.

"This is splendid! Nothing could ruin this!" Gus added.

Rumble… rumble…

"...Doc, tell me that was your stomach, please…" Oswald gulped.

Suddenly, the castle started collapsing as the earthquake intensified!

"This isn't time for fun, my friends we better run!" The Mad Doctor shouted. Everyone screamed and scrambled for the train from earlier, Willow hauling Hunter to his feet and carrying him when he was too dazed to keep going.

"This isn't good." The Finale said simply.

"YOU THINK!?" Frink shouted.

Eventually, everyone made it out just in time, collapsing into the train as it took off and the castle crumbled to pieces behind them.

"...Ok, NOW nothing can ruin this!" Gus attempted to keep spirits up with an awkward smile.

"...Shut up, Gus." Oswald deadpanned.

Xxx

As you all got off the train, a man looking similar to Gus hovered up to Oswald.

"Oswald! It's terrible! Just terrible! Our projector network! It's been wrecked by the earthquakes!"

"Any other great news…?" Oswald groaned.

The man pointed and Oswald gasped.

The town street you had been at earlier was completely wrecked, split in two! Water from pipes sprayed and shops were barely standing. Citizens were groaning and helping each other out, as Oswald stepped forward in shock.

"Mean Street…" He whispered.

As you looked on sympathetically, You overheard Gus talking to the other fellow (Jamface apparently).

"We could get the Projectors up and running again by going to Rainbow Falls, that should help with getting supplies here to rebuild faster…" Jamface explained.

Hmmm… You could go to this Rainbow Falls place, try to help out. However, seeing the devastation, you didn't feel right leaving, even if you were unsure what any of you could do.

What do you do?

[ ] All of you (including Oswald) go to Rainbow Falls together to try and fix the projector network.

[ ] Some of you stay behind to assist in Mean Street repairs.
[ ] Who stays behind if so?

You also have a Magic Paintbrush!

Trait for the paintbrush.

The Magic Paintbrush: Taken from the missing Yen Sid's workshop and fuelled by paint and thinner, this magical object can both heal and hurt in spades, it grants various mystical abilities related to the two substances, but is generally a powerful magical object, it grants half of the users occult onto their scores if it can, feasibly, aid in that situation, and always adds half their occult to direct combat rolls, it grants a flat occult score of 20.

Who uses the Paintbrush?

[ ] Abe

[ ] Frink

[ ] Finale

[ ] Willie

[ ] Hunter

[X] Paintbrush To Hunter

Willie is possibly the best hero unit for repair work we could have brought, and I don't think anyone else would be especially helpful there. Plus Frink might have some use in getting the projectors back up and running

[X] Paintbrush To Hunter

These seem pretty reasonable. Just hope we don't get into a fight without Willie....

As a "handyman" type of guy, Willie´s the best pick for repairing stuff among our group

Sure, his technical experience also could be useful in fixing the projector, but that would leave Mean Street utterly helpless, so...naaaah

[X] Paintbrush To Hunter

He´s got the highest Occult stat, so he should profit the most - especially once that flat increase is taken into account

One question, though:

Does the flat Occult increase occur *before* or *after* half that stat gets applied to something?

I will point out, by Flat Occult Stat, it means, if you have no (or below 20) occult, it is increased to be equal, not, original occult + 20... that would be kind of overpowered (45 occult hunter...), it applies before (so, it gives a minimum of + 10 occult if applicable, more creative heros are likely to get more use out of this), it does not increase the stat if the user is not directly involved to use it (so, if you make someone do a full action, it wont apply)

...damn, imagine someone like *Splatter Phoenix* getting their hands on that thing - either she´d get a lot outta itbecause she´s genuinely creative (if seriously maladjusted) or nothing at all because she already kinda got magic paint

Hmmmm...

We're martial enough as a whole I'm not gonna mind too much if Willie steps away for a while. Hunter...you're good enough for now. This is going to someone like Lena soon though if we manage to swipe it.
