A Hellfish flys again! ( a Simpsons X DVV CK2 Quest)

Hm, so Burns has fortified the bunker and recruited a Springfield student, potentially Jessica Lovejoy.

Santa also gave the magic coals to Abe and the others.

It is probably the best possible time to attack Burns and remove him from the board, before he manages a truly devastating strike.

[ ] Hand Mr. Black and Sergeant Whiteman to a Zootopia prison: They will still be facing justice either way, and it gets you in with another major faction. What do you have to lose? (Gain slight appreciation from Bellwether, increasing her opinion rank with you; unlock a collaboration with Bellwether)

  • [ ] Joint Training Between the Springfield and Zootopia Police Departments: While they have been improving at a shockingly steady rate, at the end of the day your police… aren't the best. The ZPD are way more dedicated and competent, and they seem more than willing to offer advice and training! (Your police become better trained, increasing their trait to protect Springfield by +5)

I think this is the better option in my opnion, make no mistake she wants Mr. Black and the Sargent as Hero Units.

Still joint training would improve the SPD by a wilde margin.

Taking any of bellwaters offers is terrible idea for 2 main reasons, 1. It will make people of Springfield hate us 2. bellwater is a highly, sneaky manipulative and cunning B$%@ch (she fooled the whole city and she nearly won in the movie) will most centrality send spies into this new upsart and to sabotage us if we try to go against her, and we already have burns and future zombies, doof, and the gorverment to deal with, so no thanks

I am not sure from that in DVV base game, Zootopia is notorius facing problems in all corners thanks to the Predator Scare and Bellwether policies, the ZPD more likely suffer a mass wave of demissions and predators gone 'feral' and in place is a very inexperience force that even the SPD is better trained and experient than them.

Most of the ZPD in the movies give the impression that a good portion of the police force is composed by predators.

Bellwether is going all over the place to halt the decay of Zootopia and masking said decay.

As is he doesn't really seem to have an option to launch said strike, i think it depends on what actions we have available next turn, since I would not be surprised if we could just leave him to do nothing for the next turn or two.

If the latter, we could rectify that problem via our Nuclear Mutant research later on

Syndrome, surprisingly, handed Birthday Bandit right over to the police not long after his capture of him. However, the clown mysteriously keeled over In transport, and didn't make it.

After a stop and search, a random officer, Miranda Wright, had poison found on her. The blonde cop insisted it must have been planted, but in the end the options were to believe her and go after the most likely candidate, Syndrome, a man with a huge multi billion dollar company, or take the easy route and arrest the small-time cop who at least looked guilty. Sad as it is, the choice that was picked was obvious.

Syndrome expressed sympathy, providing some plausible evidence Wright had been desperate for money after the loss of her old partner and getting transferred unexpectedly and must have figured if she killed the Bandit she could convince him to still give the reward money.

While all that was going on, it successfully served as a smoke screen for most people that those Syndrome robots seemed to be traveling across the country, looking into something….

...so Syndrome killed Mr. Baker by poisoning and planting some fake evidence incriminating an Officer *Miranda Wright* (seriously, guys? Even I as a German caught that reference^^) to get rid of both? That sucks, but at least I now know how to write BBs demise IH I do end up using that "Laast Laugh omake" idea I had a while ago...

...as understandable as their reactions were, did Wiggum and the others HAVE to be so undiplomatic?

Anyway, while I really don´t want to consort with BW any more than I have to, we don´t really want Black and Whiteman around either and she´ll probably..."vent her frustrations on them"

Right.

I say we tell the b*tch in sheep's clothing to bugger off and, if possible, bring down Burns next turn before he becomes a bigger problem.

I am actually tempted to agree and go for the police option, because let´s be honest:

WIGGUM NEEDS IT

Thought about the immigration "treaty", but since it´ll be slanted towards prey, that kinda runs counter towards our vague plans to offer sanctuary in Springfield to Preds (the opinion malus of which the opinion increase from the Collab Agreement could counteract, just saying), I changed my mind.

...We are in agreement about krumping Burns next turn though because of THIS:

REWARD: You and Santa aren't exactly friends, but you've buried the hatchet for the most part!

Santa gave a piece of Magic Coal! When handed to an enemy in a fight, they get so genuinely overcome with shame if they have done anything bad they get a -10 to Martial for the rest of combat, even if they normally wouldn't care or would revel in bad deeds. It can only be used once, however, so choose wisely!

Santa gave all of your Hero Units the perfect gift (what it is will be left ambiguous for all 14, but feel free to headcanon it and the like)! Each of them will have +10 to their Personal Actions next turn.

...okay, either my math from yesterday (the one about which turn corresponds to which months) was off or Kris Kringle decided to visit one turn early - not that I mind, of course

Okay, that Magic Coal is *Very nice*, but it only debuffing *Martial* immediately crosses out Burns himself because of his already abyssmal score there - that and it being a one-time use item requires us to think *very carefully* about whom to conk in the head with it.

Now, the flat +10 to *everyone´s* PAs next turn on the other hand?

VERY POWERFUL - we definitely should make use of that as well as we can...

Given the "Mechanical" response, the core becomes increasingly likely, and as is it seems like an much better idea to expand into the wasteland for kingship, given we dont even have an border with them.
Also it would take something disastrous for them to fall apart, given the have an entire planets worth of resources to throw at the company.

I'd call this the best option. It gives us a boost without letting her get anybody inside our camp, and prevents her from spreading her anti carnivore influence with any law enforcement. Plus, we can turn right around and use this option to promote a new ecosystem for carnivores, if we choose to build one soon. Let her shoot herself in her own foot!

...Core is Belos aka Owl House, right?

Of course it´d be better from a purely "administrative/infrastructural" PoV, but it´s still an avenue for growth regardless

Yeah, her possibly "infecting" Springfield PD with anti-Pred rhetorics is a big downsight of the Training option - that and I admittedly apparently misunderstood the PR work as only working for collabs and the like *with her* for some reason.

With all that in mind, I am now favoring the PR option, because honestly, I am not seeing BW wanting to *recruit* Black and Whiteman after the press that Kamp Krusty debacle threw in her way - I suspect her aiming for a more..."Syndrome-esque" desire, if you catch my drift...

Core is... The Core, from amphibia, its an immortal supercomputer who is likely in the body of marcy (one of the protagonists) It currently controls all of amphibia (a planet) and probably has king andrias as an hero unit (Very Very Strong Diplo-Martial)

What can i tell you, Government is a bit desesperate to start putting out fires.

For your lemon farms, could still do it and gain income and some fame/Pr, but kind of lost a bit of the chance of being one of the persons helping wth the Famine before the government started actually acting competently and gaining some more recognition.

Thought depending on if the govenrment somehow fails or crit fails the collaboration, that does open you guys a chance to shine with your lemons farms still.

Honestly I don't hate this. Springfield Police have always been a joke, so any level of competence would probably help, especially in a more serious setting. My only fear is that Bellwether might try to send her own police as spies into our group, or worse make our police adopt their anti-predator biases. If we can avoid that, it's not the worst thing.

I think this would send the wrong message, if Bellwether gives her stamp of approval, it will actually turn away those who fear her influence such as predators who've been discriminated against. And she'd have an easier time hiding spies among any anthros who come visit/move to Springfield.

This could work and I see the positive arguments towards it. I just worry it would be a lot easier for her to take away the PR since it's her connections etc. Also we're getting big PR from the new Doof TV, but maybe a bit more couldn't hurt?

I wouldn't go that far, I reckon it do would have taken lots of resources for you guys to expand the lemon farms be able to supply ALL of U.S. or at least a significant amount.

It would be fine in my opnion, Springfield once supply the entire country with they shoes. It seems to me is finally the turn for Springfield lemons time to shine plus maybe we can make the goverment less dependet from Tofee's corn, ultimatly it was either the goverment or Tofee that would approach the other over the famine issue.

Why?

It's not like Springfield is someplace important, it's mostly a little town in the middle of nowhere with little to note.

Bellweather approach us because she wants to fix Zootopia issues, the ZPD is possible understaff and fill with rookies so much the SPD is in a better shapped than them.

I imagine that Bellweatger probably see this as a opportunity to train her rooky cops with a experienced police force but the SPD would only give a small bonus while the SPD also is small is probably because the SPD was reminded of they own police training since they have to teach these rookies the basics. I imagine the Chief probably would wonder what the heck is going on in Zootopia since the ZPD is know for they brutal police training and top rate cops but the SPD has to rwmind them of the basics.

So she has no reason to spread her ideology since we are a human town that has no prey or predator at it's midst.
