That agreement was to protect the in from the Renplacement, I think?

Protect from consequence of our actions regarding Frenly untill transportation, then they enjoy the unfocused diffuse protection our citizens get.

At least, that's how I understand the bargain; @DragonParadox is this correct?

I'm expecting aggravated fey, vengeful devils or random; unexpected aggressor to try something.

I also want to chime in on the whole "missing Renly" thing.

There's been a lot of talk about "how it was Renly's choice" and "he was unfit anyway".

Renly was a impetuous teenager who couldn't possibly have had the Knowledge Nature to know about any lore of Fey or what he was getting himself into.

Even if he was a decade older I would not say that he deserved to get tempted into a bargain borne out of fear of not being fit for his position as Lord of Storm's End.

I know it's hair-pulling to think about diving into the feywild to rescue him, which is the main center of the opposition here, and I agree that diving in after him and hoping for the best is the wrong play here.

But there's gotta be a way to find him without being lost in time or some other bullshit.

There is, send Fey.

Hmmm, could we possibly pull off looting the Inn this night? Between Viserys and Vee we can move enough Pech right? And Lya can always cast a lot of fabricates I guess?

'Night guys see you in the morning. there will be more politics and I'm thinking of also adding short descriptive text to the character sheets since I do not describe the main cast that much in text normally unless something unusual is happening, because of the POVs.

That'd be great, actually. We did some speculation a while back, but having GM word on this would be much better. :)

I really like that idea.

  • [X] Hunter's Instincts: DC 32
[X] Teleport to Storm's End with Vee to retrieve Dany, Lya, and Bronn, using two 4th level spell slots one way and a 5th level slot to return.
-[X] Have Lya cast Owl's Insight on Vee while Malarys Imbues her with a Divine Insight spell. Viserys uses Greater Shadow Enchantment to grant Vee a Grand Destiny spell.
-[X] Once prepared, Vee attempts to graft the Hunter's Instruments into the Seeker.

@Goldfish

I think we should either leave Lya, Dany and Bronn there (taking Vee for buffing) or take the Tavern then with us.
Bargains struck and all that.

If we can do the Tavern now (might be better to wait for nighttime) that would reduce the chances of something going wrong.

We can loot the Tavern after refreshing spells, during the night.

Just move a ton of Pech and many Bulabars, and let them and Lya work while Viserys flexes his dragon muscles.

I trust the Lich to find the more juicy bits.
Ah, Valyrians, truly an enlightened people, if only they had closer ties to the dornish, the wonders they might have created.

I could care less about the inn, but ya'll have backed us into a corner, so now we're obligated to acquire it.

New plan. Thoughts?

[X] Plan Rule of Acquisition 43 "Feed your greed, but not enough to choke it."
-[X] Use Greater Shadow Enchantment to duplicate a Touch of Slumber spell upon the Dogai while it is incapacitated. Ask Vee, Garin, and Malarys to stand guard over the Devil while we rest using the magic bedroll to recover our spells. Richard and Tyene will need to ride herd on Stannis and the Replacement while we are otherwise occupied.
-[X] Once our spells are recovered, we will Teleport to the inn with a team of four Pech, who will, with Lya's assistance, prepare the Inn for transport. The other Pech will be tasked with preparing a proper, if possibly temporary resting place for the inn, as designated by Alinor. They will indicate the destination with one of our Arcane Marked stones, which we will use as a Teleport target.
-[X] Team Pech, with assistance from Lya's Fabricate spells, will prepare the inn for Teleportation, while any remaining guests are asked to leave. Once ready, Lya will cast Ant Haul and Animalistic Power on us, so that we can assume HHD form and pick up the structure and Teleport it to Sorcerer's Deep, along with Lya, Dany, and Bronn. We will return for the Fey who operate the inn once it is settled in place.
-[X] Upon returning to Sorcerer's Deep, we will use Greater Shadow Enchantment to place a Grand Destiny spell on Vee, Lya will use Owl's Insight on her, and Malarys will Imbue her with Divine Insight (for a total Heal check bonus of +46). Thus prepared, Vee will graft the Dogai's Hunter's Mantle into the Seeker. Dany will observe the process in order to use Alter Fortune should something go wrong.

Only because we got the best one we could expect already (dimension door) and the invisible/shadow bits are so good.

@Goldfish, I think that the fey might have to be teleported with the Tavern.

It's nightime now? Wouldn't it be best if we send Replacement back in Tarth to stew till the morning, and then do plan Grant Theft Inn?

Also, how are we killing the dogai? It would bleed before the Heart Tree, right? Doing so, will that let it die and we can speak with Uncle B to send some guides to meet us on the trek North?

If we can talk to him, can we ask if he can bring back Elia also?

@Goldfish , I'd go with Vee too and some Bulabars to properly plan everything. Also becuse bulabars have Mending at will.

Vee doesn't know the destination, so would have to be Teleported there, then Teleport back to SD to bring the Bulbasaurs. They aren't really necessary for the move, either, as Viserys has +13 Knowledge(Architecture), which should easily encompass the requisite skills for this endeavor. They can use their Mending to repair any damage done to the inn when it is safely in SD.

He can, and it is probably more expensive than we would be willing to pay. Probably. And teleporting is not possible past the wall, so asking and fetching the bones is out, and asking for the bones just incase is a big no-no in Westorsi culture.

Don't forget to vote, folks. Ya'll were the ones who wanted the inn. Now's your chance to get it.

I dearly hope that this ends with Stannis in SE. We should mentìon that we took a small souvenier. :V

"Why do I get the distinct feeling that your proclivity to uproot anything with some semblance of worth had a part to play in it?"

Viserys: "Look... I manage that instinct better than most of my kind. I didn't even take any virgin maidens this trip!"

Renly: "He was eyeballing Brienne, though."

Stannis: "Of Tarth? That Brienne?"

Viserys sweats.

Renly: "Not quite... the conventional virgin maiden, but she technically fits the description."

Stannis... snorts in mild amusement, flabbergasting Viserys and Renly both. "Of course he did. She is called 'the Beauty'."
