So if we can get to SD within the allocated days that we set aside for the Renplacement negotiations, Phantom Steeds, if not, teleportation?

Imagine it people.

When we return home, we will have a new tavern, a new and competent minion, and a shiny little baby paladin sworn to our enemies to corrupt.

We propably could, we are literally better than most devils in this game.
The issue I see is that Paladins generally tend to rebound hard when falling.A full Blackguard would not be useful to us either.

Maybe not one so young and fresh in the job.
Just maybe we can do this without breaking her...

If you guys can pull this off that would be the greatest thing in this quest.

Bloody Paladin, already costing us valuable informants at our very first meeting.

Paladins need to have extreme alignments, so it would be either:
- Paladin of Freedom (rampant CG and thus with all the self-sacrifice issues we had with Dany)
- Blackguard (CE nutcase)
- Paladin of Tyranny (a ruthless enforcer in spiky black armor that would look very squire-like next to Richard)

I think the superior choice is obvious. :V

Edit: Though I'm iffy if a Paladin can "fall" to his old alignment and just getting a new patron.

LG Paladin of the Old Gods? Every Hearttree in Planetos will run red with tears of joy.

Isn't Garth a Paladin of Freedom?
He didn't seem that bad to me.

Plus, getting her to fall will almost assuredly involve breaking her love of chivalry, making her either disillusioned with helping people at best and an asshole at worst.

But, I guess that could be seen as a good thing to some :V

Your typical Paladin of Tyranny does, as the name implies, usually create order at all costs.
And that's fine. We can work perfectly with that.

And we could also work with a LG Paragon who is openly a former Seven worshiper.

As long as she doesn't go uncontrollable chaotic, she would be quite useful.

Cat has to come out of the bag eventually, and this is a good opportunity to show just how the balance of power stands.

The Old Gods are pure neutral in their amalgamated state and would be just plain confused by the notion of a paladin serving them. You would have a better chance making someone a paladin of Yss.
Snakadin? Sounds workable to me.

However, I think there are perfectly fine classes for post-fall Paladins that don't require new patrons, so yeah...

Maybe we should concentrate on looting her first before deciding her future. :V

I thought the term where interchangeable.

I'm for either LG or LE, but her new patron must be the Old Gods.
Not quite.
Paladin of Slaughter is a base-class variant of the regular Paladin.

Blackguard is a Prestige Class anyone can enter who fullfills the requirements, but Fallen Paladins get extra-features based on the number of Paladin-levels they have.
Actually being a level 10+ Paladin turns a mediocre PrC much better than usually.

@Azel, I'm thinking of asking lord Tarth to allow Brienne to tag along for some monster slaying expeditions. That way we get a chance to diplomance her in private and she gets interested enough in the chance for good deeds to at least consider it.

In any case, Brienne will probably be trouble in the future. But in the distant future, because right now she's just a baby paladin. The chances of her changing patrons away from the Gods she was raised to believe in... She'd have to be betrayed by them. Not very likely, and trying to engineer something will almost certainly explode in our faces.

And if Renly is on our side (you'll note she already has the beginning of a crush), then she shouldn't be a problem until the Seven manage to replace enough of their church hierarchy to call a proper crusade, which will take a while.

LG would be preferred, yeah.

Having less "hard man hard decisions" minions will make me feel better about giving them more autonomy, as I could trust them to do things without giving us more bad pr or pissing off people in their wake.
So, less Bronn and more Waymar pls.

Edit:

[X] Teleportation

They already know you can use magic to teleport, so it's not much of a stretch to believe that we can as well.

I don't trust that thinking anymore.

I also thought Dany wouldn't be combat-relevant for a few more years...

Meh, we will make peace with the Seven eventually I think. The OG wants them humbled, not anihilated. That means nailing Lucan by his throat to a Hearth Tree, and planting some more weirwoods in the places of Septs, but they will calm down eventually.
