I can change it if you think it will be worthwhile, but I was mainly thinking of Waymar being Waymar. It might be best to keep him out of melee combat with a seemingly unarmed, unarmored naked woman with unknown powers. It's just less hassle that way.

So, even if we can't safely capture this Maenad for sacrifice, we can still use her for this part of the ritual:
I'm actually kind of hoping we catch enough to grow a second tree. You only need 16 HD to grow a weirwood, and these things have 9 HD each. So another three or four would get us another tree with one to two secondary effects.
And then after that once we capture one or two more Maenads since I'm positive there are more running around the town we're looking at a fully-upgraded Heart Tree.

Just, because: If memory serves Yss is a god of Rebirth. The thing that allows you a new start. I wouldn't really bet on 'senile'. Also, whatever happened in the few millenia since he came into existence, he's stilll around.

Baella is a pacifist. I think the plan is to use non-lethal capture methods on whalers and then release back into the wild. Plane of fire would probably kill most of the whalers outside of the boat. Drop them off in Molten Skies or something. Taking their boats will prevent reduce some of the whaling.
Also want a to look into a storage array for a group of sub-sapient elementals to replace any bound sapient elemtals in the boats. Enslaving people is one thing, but capturing animals??? Let's do it.

What happened to the plans to leave the whalers in the Archons' custody to try to turn them good? Baella would probably love the idea.
Also, we're using the memory moss to wipe all the whalers' memories. We're taking zero chances with rumors.
EDIT: And dropping the Whalers off with the Archons is an excuse to introduce them to Baella and get started on her Vow of Poverty.
