Getting an Archon to go over our stuff and purifying (and returning) any corrupted items strikes me as a good idea. Not like we have anything to hide, it can be part of our ID everything plan :)

It will also, hopefully, deal with that sword's smell :)

No, like Dany identified that it has a +1 and 1d6 Fire Damage Enchantment and nothing else.
No tricks or hidden evil.
Its been a while, but im pretty sure that we identified the blade of ruin as just a +1 vicious weapon when we got it. We managed to miss soul-stealing alignment changing magic.

Im just saying we should be careful. Maybe dip it in holy water before anyone uses it?

No, we knew from the start there was a ??? Enchantment besides the Vicious.

Still

*Paranoia Intensifies*

Also the Archons gave us more magic weapons back, so they can have it if their willing to side grade. We need a spiked chain right?

Alternatively its been a while since oath-keeper ate hasn't it?

[X] Challenge and kill the leader with fang and claw

CE idiots are best persuaded by applying big stick to their faces and telling them to obey or be crushed then.

They don't respond well to big words or complex concepts so it's hard to leverage social skills against them.
That's where the combination comes from. Large Half Dragon, fire-breathing, high-on-recent-success, Charisma, social skills - Resilient Sphere for 'he's to dumb to be talked to' on the leader ...

Also we dont know how to use it.
It's a simple weapon, and sorcerers are proficient with simple weapons EXCEPT DPs policy says Viserys is not.

[X] Cow them with magic

For all we know, the leader could be Grandma Minotaur, who all the other Minotaurs love and respect for her kindly ways and nurturing spirit. We might encounter her after she's grown enraged at the slavery and death inflicted upon her cowpeople.

how long would it take to get richard and have him cow the minotaurs for us?
they will go nicely with his future gorgon mount.
"Great, i always wanted to lead a bunch of evil bull men"
"really?"
"No"

The way I currently imagine the scene is a Viserys that just exudes a 'you are not worth fighting, you do what I say because anything else is inconceivable' stance.
mm, maybe if we carry the spear or something, the original minos took some beating to get that message into their skulls and we dont have much flashy magic left.

I'm not holding out hope that the Tower's library is fully intact (though it would be very nice, @DragonParadox), but it might have a few sealed private studies that haven't been defiled, right?

And you know what would be awesome, to find an intact Fleshforge in our new Tower. The Tower's freaky meat-flower thing didn't grow itself, and it might have required period adjustments or upgrades. It would be perfectly reasonable to keep a well-stocked Fleshforge on site rather than require the work to be done in another city somewhere. Mantarys wasn't a major Valyrian city, after all, so it would made sense for all of the sensitive and important magical equipment and materials to be situated in the Tower.

I'm not being greedy. Really!
