May I ask why? Just curious. Qoren already knows very well that we're a highly skilled and passionate warrior/knight (it's basically the most scandalous thing to know about us and so likely the farthest reaching), and he comes from a culture where such things are not abnormal, so he wouldn't even have an ingrained inclination to brush it off. Meanwhile, the other options we have are:
- something cool and unique that he has never experienced before;
- trying to bond over literally the only interest we currently know we have in common;
- putting him next to the person we kinda want to spend the rest of our life with to see how they vibe.

I personally find it so hard to choose between these three that the duel and hawking are basically just not worth it for me.

[X] Plan Getting To Know Things
-[X] [Strong] Ask why he's not interesting in marrying his son to you.
-[X] [Martell] Spend Time Playing the Harp
-[X] [Martell] Take a Stroll Through the Gardens
--[X] Invite Alicent Along

Getting Alicent's opinions on Qoren, by hook or by crook, is non-negotiable for me. Bringing her on a walk with him may even coax out his opinions on paramours, depending on how perceptive and gregarious he is. And we should manage our Stress, not just after the turn we had, but also because inquiring after Harwin to Lyonel will likely cause us more of it.

Taking him on a dragon ride is the single worst possible thing to do. He's Dornish. With Rhoynish ancestry. To him, a dragon is the thing that burns your house down. This is not going to leave a remotely good impression with him, since it comes off as just more blatant threats from dragonriders.

It just seems fun to duel every marriage candidate we met. We've beaten Harwin and the next sword training we'll take, Gwayne will be my priority target. In a more serious consideration I like Azel plan the most but in fun+serious scale I put Alicent, Duel, and Dragon on equal weight with Harp just a little behind.

How is it a threat to let him ride a dragon? He knows we have them. He knows that he expressed interest in marrying a dragonrider. If anything, we would be showing him that a dragon is not just a nuke, but a means to see the world from a bird's eye view, to be free from gravity and far away from earthly concerns for a moment. And we would express that we are fine with letting him share in this freedom.

You stood there, beyond frustrated at her words, and some of the truths behind them. No matter what you did there would always be men who stood in your way. Men like Unwin Peake.

Thankfully, you had one thing they would never have. A dragon.
Preach Sister.

That being said we're probably going to have to fight a war one way or another, if only because Daemon demands his "birthright" or dear old dad finally gets a Son and suddenly a toddler has more credibility than a fully grown woman who's been training for the job for over a decade.

Since the moment he arrived, everyone has been showing off their dragons as as how of force. This will just read as more of that.

Vagar has been hovering over the city ever since he set foot in it.

I mean, it might read this way if we just took him to the Dragonpit to say "look at Syrax, how mighty she is", but we have, like, words. And a very good excuse because he's an artist and the view up there is seriously breathtaking. And genuine personal feelings about flight that would almost certainly shine through if we say at least two sentences on the matter. If he ignores all that... honestly I think it would be hard to ignore all that and read only the threat to get offended by.

If he's a bro, then we can talk to him through our fists.

If he's not a bro, then I don't want him.

Simple as.

I just don't see how this is beneficial at all? The point of the exercise is to get to know him, not to try really hard to convince him that Syrax is a good girl. I don't see how starting this conflict is in any way helpful.

I don't think a dragonride is a first date thing, maybe we can try it later once we get to know him better.

Also, i am not bringing anyone on a dragonride before Alicent unless we have to (like flying with Rhea because she was our bodyguard).
