Sure it's more of an honor, but it'll also confuse the Bai delegation about which tall gangly foreigner their princess is dating. It'd be an honor, and very funny, but we shouldn't do Bao Qingling dirty like that.

Considering the theme of this entire meetup has been lighthearted teasing, it makes sense Meizhen would get us throat armor in case we needed to block any more knives.

I like ornament more by its aesthetics, but I find choker's ability more useful ;(. But both are fine...

Mostly the practical use, poison resistance is great against Ith, and just generally very good to have. But I also really like the message of giving something to protect from her (and her families) most famous tool. That's an expression of trust there, and a statement. Because we totally are a target for Bai intrigue. Have been, and as the best friend of the likely future heir, that's only going to ramp up.
