With Keku and Harmony, we can form a core of teaching our people how to live a life of harmony flying(metaphorically) through the elements of the world. A living path of ascension we can share.

What is your wish from such a core, why do you pick harmony, a stabilising influence on the pillars? A specific power?

I cleaned up the tally a bit. not sure why they votes are not automatically fused together, maybe because the plans don't start with "[]plan".

in any case, as of right now our oldest pick of "death and time" is winning. I'm a bit sad at the lack of Keku, but it's fine. I suppose that might come up as the Core Concept?

"Everything that matters to the Keku. The Elements the world is made of, the circle of life (equated to the Keku to Flight) leading in time to death, and teaching the next generation".

edited my vote, so we're

4 votes for soul + keku

vs

3 votes for death + time.

Unless someone changes his mind or we get new voters, this seems it.

From a quick check there's been 7 people who voted recently (as in, at least once since turn 6) who haven't voted for this one decision, so maybe a few of them will pop up

Mmmph. I'll vote, but my preferred option doesn't have enough votes to win anyhow, so it's more of a symbolic vote.

[X] death and keku

Death is a necessary pillar to complement life, but I really like the Keku insights and it fits well with Shitaku being a guardian of the Keku race. I think the concept of a core generated thusly would be pretty strong, too, all-encompassing and whatnot.

I'll put a thing in for Soul/Keku if the vote's still tied by tomorrow morning.

I think for those who pick soul that they should remember we are going to get soul powers at nascent soul anyway, think of the perfect core!

Time stuff is also incredibly badass, with variety of uses from shields, foresight and cultivation utility.

By my count (and the tally is somewhat messed up) we are currently 4 for death and time 4 for death and Keku and 4 for Keku and soul, ive don it by line and it at least seemed to put all of the votes together.

Uri, I am kind of curious, what happens to the bonuses provided to the race by the Keku pillar if the emperor die.

And can just any Keku take the pillars like that and boost the entire species, or is the emperor position (leader of the species, first cultivator and so on) granted them this advantage.

Seeing as the leading vote is leading only by 1 vote I figured I'll talk a bit about the concepts that would arise from any combination, at least in broad terms, keep in mind that while harmony of the core is important you should also take the concept itself in mind.

Death and time- I'll start with the easiest and most harmonized, this concept would be one of cycles, wind, water, earth and fire symbolize the cycle of the elements while life time and death symbolize the cycle of life, flight (connecting to life) will influence it towards your species while teaching will be teaching will both connect the two cycles and align it with you. in the end you'll have a cycle of creation and destruction, of the end and beginning both for you and for your species.

Death and keku- omitting time in favor of Keku would lower the harmony of the core but would end up with the same concept, as teaching takes up the mantle of the passing generations it would still be a cycle of creation and destruction but it would be a lot more anchored in the Keku themselves, the cycle of creation and destruction, of your beginning and end.

Soul and keku- soul and keku on the other hand will just remove the whole destruction aspect of the core, it will still have a cycle but it will be only the cycle of creation and with life, teaching, flight, keku and soul which will combine to encompasses a greeter aspect of life it will become a core with the concept of the cycle of creation, the blossoming of life. With an alignment for the keku in specifically.

Depends on the insight but most will stop working, although everyone who already received the bonus will still have it (most of the time at least) but newly born wont get it.

Technically, anyone can take them but your position allows you to get far more impacting insights.

Does the concept influence the powers we receive, like time and Keku both got the same concept, would they provide the same abilities? Would it being less harmonious make it weaker but stronger when it regard to our species or something?

It dos, I cant really say more without reveling information you shouldn't have yet.

Really hope this post change some opinions, I still have hope of time lead to death winning, since this basically confirmed to me it is the best choice, what with being the most harmonised.

so

1)Creation and destruction, the cycle of elements + cycle of life, and flight connects it to the Keku

2)As above, but a bit weaker in exchange for being more focused to the Keku

3)as strong as 1, but removes the element of "destruction" to focus more on the "positive" aspects of life and creation, still strictly connected to the Keku.

I think I'd go 3-2-1 in order of preference, but it's a very slight one.

most harmonised is not the only important aspect, though.

We're assuming we'll include all pillars, so Stability is maxed in any case, but there's the matter of different concepts leading to different powers.

It's easy to imagine that, for example, the third pick (soul + keku) will have better and more "positive" effects, of the empowering kind, while the first one would likely lose out a bit on the positive effects (fewer, slightly weaker) in exchange for the flexibility of adding more "negative" effects, so destructive or debuffing ones.

It's a matter of preference which ones we prefer, there's no real objective best here.

I think it is harmonised as 2 or slightly less, it was mentioned it is slightly weaker than the other two, if they all have max stability, either the concept slightly weaker, the harmony, or the third secret part Uri hinted at.

fair, I probably misunderstood that bit. but beside stability and harmony there's also the specific effects, and that's a personal preference... though we can only guess on the specifics
