There was not. In fact, there was a negative time-skip, as part of the end of SoN1 was retconned away to make room for the beginning of SoN2.

leverage is too good, if necesary we could conduct a peacetime population exchange. (which i know by modern standards is considered a genocide, but its still probably the most humane of outcomes before pogroms start in the area.
