Springtime of Nations II: A European Republic Quest

[X] We insist on Lithuania.

see previous remarks on the phrase 'unconditional surrender' and its cool factor regardless of practicality

[X] We accept the counter-offer.

We don't really have networks in Lithuania and we never got to occupy it so there won't be any local allies for them to do reprisal against. We still get Galicia so we're not leaving anyone we already linked up with behind. The only slightly annoying bit is not getting Memelland but the Russians won't be able to make use of it as a military port that close to the border without exposing their fleet to a quick strike.

Getting to run the partition conference is a huge concession from there honestly, it was my main worry with the partition option.

I don't think rebuilding is going to be as much of a problem as some people do. For rebuilding germany we basically did a few infrastructure planks and we were good as new.

Do you think the Russians were nice to the Polish areas at all especially if they thought people were collaborating with partisans in the area attacking them.

Because we hashed out the reformation of property relations over the course of the First Republic and Civil War and constituent assembly. Translethania, Poland, and Prussia are starting from the basis of the hybrid natural-capitalist economy of the League autocracies.

Well yes but we're rebuilding other countries. Quite a few of them depending on how many we get on our side during the partition. And we'll want to invest both politically and economically to bring them up to speed.

Us getting to host the congress is honestly a splendid concession by the Entente that shows they are laser focused on preserving Russia meaning we get the elbow room we need for the Balkans.

That is a fair point, but we do have an intact Germany to provide materials for rebuilding this time, and potentially aid from Italy and Spain too, that wasn't there last time. Maybe I am too optimistic, but I don't think out occupation zone is going to be a misery pit, I think we'll be able to do democratic reconstruction councils and be able to quickly build roads, rails and waterways to get the region moving again.
