Huh, I'd been focusing on buff vs cleanse, but didn't notice that (2) just has qi restore while one also has healing.
Hmm, I am sympathetic to the arguments that buff chain stuff has historically been messy and awkward, and we do also already have a pile of messiness with our new buffs from BKSD too. Big heal everything does have the virtue of simplicity, and ties in well with Unbroken Will too.
We're also inclined to get ourselves hurt, so healing would probably be helpful, especially once we're no longer at the Sect.
Thematically, we commented before about how (2) is more active and progressive, looking at the idea of doing with the opportunities created by the endings and new beginnings and tying into our political work. However, I think it's also worth thinking about what our motivations are for that as well. Ultimately we're pursuing this path because we want us and those we love to be safe and happy and healthy, and to be able to live our life without being forced to do things we're unhappy with etc. Focusing here on keeping us and those we protect healthy and alive rather killing our enemies fits into that very well (and ofc is arguably much of the driver for our defensive focus in general).
Alright, I've decided I think I'll swap.
[X] Total the Potency of enemies killed this way, allies of potency equal or less to that amount have their qi fully restored, all wounds removed and all negative effects on them dispelled.
