Assuming they don't collapse. USSR is having issues and as one of the previous chapters pointed out their political system is built off hypocrisy where you have to obey the party line but secretly toe it in order to advance. PRC is dealing with a revolution les by people fed up with the leadership and how the leadership bled them dry yet gives them little power.

Huh? How does that make any sense?

Edit: Like, the people in power are the ones who benefit from the current system, I would expect that CyberSyn would give the reformers something to rally behind and manage to put enough pressure on the others to at least halt the downwards slide, but I can't imaging them doing anything much more dramatic by that point. As far as I know there just wasn't enough revolutionary fervour left by that point.

Not really. They (those who are still trying to make it all work/better) did use Mingxiang out of the box. But they did so without really any intent on reducing corruption, as that isn't what your system is designed to do.

Mingxiangs' #1 priority is to ensure that anyone can draw a line from a problem to its cause, not preventing anyone from fudging with its systems. But they'd need to know how in order to do so.

And when the people in charge get notified that 50 tanks worth of materials were put into the system, and 30 tanks got out...well...

Putin got to work overtime knocking on doors to "ask questions" to many a person.
 
Mingxiang brings the cold light of day on what kleptocrats do in the dark.

Considering large quantities of the USSR were composed of kleptocrats, this is leading to a leaner and meaner and more efficient Russian bear.

Wouldn't you know it, I'm currently doing my Security+ Certification. Accountability is one of the major cornerstones of IT.

Here's hoping I pass the final exam. The course only cost a THOUSAND DOLLARS!

This could go horribly wrong, very horribly wrong, or alright.
Also this can and will be abused horribly if the methods of creation come out.

However I am unsure about the current wolf-personen and if they are mentally artificially manipulated or not. Though I would expect not even if it was started by the Nazi's as the west Germans probably have reversed it if they were

The scary bit is if they get the idea purges make the numbers go up and keep doing it after everyone realizes the computers will narc on them if they do corruption stuff.

Obsolete. The mechs are a bit smaller than what we're generally going to be working with (I think) but a similar principle of these things not necessarily being better than tanks but rather serving a distinct role and having their own advantages. In the case of obsolete, they're basically the next generation of Technical, because they're incredibly cheap.
