Also beavers wearing tool belts and writing things down on small tablets sounds adorable. I hope our mortals don't end up hunting them for their fur though.

[X] Allow Gan Guangli to play the bait, while you play the deadly wraith, trapping and killing it once it engages him. (70% success. Beast slain, low risks of collateral damage. Less intelligence on similar creatures.)

I think this is better because we want to make a good impression for the beavers. Sucess with low collateral is a good way to achieve this.

For the sake of good beaver PR.

While I would want to support GG plan, such risk is not really needed here. We already heard that these star-beasts live on and poison the glacier so we can always come back for one with a plan rather than try to improvise here.

Other peoples' homes and lives aren't the time to take unnecessary and easily avoidable risks for the sake of personal gain.
Getting intelligence on a strange new threat that's potentially connected to a Sublime Ancestor tier spirit aligned with the Cloud Tribes and that 7th Realm titan that beat up some Sect Elders is hardly a wholly selfish objective. It's fine if you value limiting damage to our neighbor's homes over that, but it's annoying to see the other option characterized as something as basic as mere 'personal gain.'
