There were still hundreds of captured slaves, bound by the cruel collars around their necks. The ones that Naru had the capacity to shatter with a single drop of her blood.

...

Even from where Sailor Moon is standing, she can feel the eyes on the back of her head, the fact that Naru has a very strong opinion about this.

[k][ ][Naru] Do not explain how Qiqi was freed[/k]
- Naru is not going to let this go without revealing that a way to free the slaves is possible, even if that means avoiding the safest option. And Frankly, you can't imagine doing the same either.
[ ][Naru] Say that Sei's blood is the blood of the All-Mother
- there is still a small amount of Naru's blood on her fingers that she would be use to prove once during all of this, and would create a personal action for Both Naru and Usagi that would have to be taken together to properly draw blood to give to MCAT
[ ][Naru] Give Naru's identity to MCAT
-- NARU'S PREFERED OPTION
- By dropping the glamour and revealing herself, Naru would have the capacity to travel to the MCAT base and give blood there. This will be an automatic weekly thing that happens, but there will be a Naru personal action to accelerate the process of freeing slaves
[X][FREE] Try to use the Blessing of the Planets
- Regardless of what you choose when it comes to Naru, the Senshi will try to free a slave using the other method mentioned.

Naru has a preference, so we go with that

[X][Naru] Give Naru's identity to MCAT
[X][FREE] Try to use the Blessing of the Planets

However, and I don't want to seem like I'm arguing I'm just thinking of logistics, we had a discussion about how many times Naru would have to draw blood to free the slaves before. Even with her being slightly younger than recommended, a blood draw would seem to still be over 400 mL of blood. A drop is generally considered less than a mL.

So, is this:

A) You can't just draw blood and put it in a bag, due to mystical spell stuff
B) This is a one-time, one-week blood draw to free 400 something slaves
C) There are way more than 400 slaves

I'm mostly asking because if C, that is a scale consideration we don't have. I know we might not want to put hard numbers to this, but if Naru ends up being asked to give blood four times... are there actually 1,600 slaves we are freeing, or is there something hinky going on Miss Ryoko.

"Took what?"

"He took it." The young boy repeats. "The bad man took it away, and won't give it back." The boy says, and for a moment Sailor Moon... No... Usagi isn't sure what to do, she isn't sure what to say, before giving the young boy a nod.

"I'll find the bad hat man," She tells the boy, "But unless I know what he took, I can't help you get it back."

"He took everything." The young boy says, "He took all of it. Mama and Papa, and even me, but I want me back."

At this point, Sailor Moon is entirely unsure of what the young boy is meaning, but she is going to do everything she can. Thankfully, the director will likely be able to help her. "Okay." She says simply, "I'll find the Bad Hat Man, and I'll make him give you everything back."

Yep, this sounds like a job for Sailor Moon all right. Esoteric and vague. Probably partially the reason for targeting children.

Where did we leave that crowbar again?

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Quick question is that ghost boys eye colour Black or Blue.
And what colour is Mamoru's eyes

I think Sailor Moon would be able to tell if she was talking to a ghost. I'm not saying it absolutely cannot be a ghost, but I don't want to be looking for ghost kids when he may be an alive kid.

I like the idea of D.Gray Man, also thought of something like Tokyo Ghoul for a character with Heterochromia. But both of those series are SUPER DARK about what "he took everything" would mean. Looking up villains with hats also landed me a lot of Jojo references. Style and duck remind me of Boogiepop Phantom as well...

But darn it if I can't tie all that to a single character name.

What does the "k" brackets stand for?

[X][Naru] Give Naru's identity to MCAT
[X][FREE] Try to use the Blessing of the Planets

Just realized that the FREE option already had an x in the vote brackets.

Some people use /k to say they're kidding (or /s to say sarcasm). Mostly cos it's hard to be sarcastic on the internet without others misunderstanding. The K /K seems to be to indicate the start and end of their joke vote to do just that

Holy Shit. I hope that the kid really is Mamoru, just to see how Endymion and Jadeite react to it.
I hope so too.

This is, in the end, Naru's choice.

And Sailor Moon has every intent to back her up. Tremble, oh gods, for the heir of Pandora is here, and she still has Princess Serenity's friendship and support. Even if you succeed in your quest to squash her threat, you will not survive the consequences.

My thoughts went to Oblivion and their memory theft. Not sure if that matches the hat part though since I've never seen the source material.

Oblivion is an OC, so it could end up being them as there is no source material TMK. However, the Oblivion seal was rather obvious so again, I'd assume that Usagi would notice that as the problem. Though, a more insidious version isn't impossible.

Sailor Moon saying this really strains my SoD.
I mean canon Sailor Moon isn't exactly the pinnacle of maturity or someone who knows about things like "Tact" or "Don't sass then that hard" so this isn't exactly out there. Even if we've been working on that.

To be fair, there's some indication that constantly teleporting everywhere might actually consume more calories than walking up the stairs. At least if Usagi's appetite after Slumber Party is an indication.

Also just had a weird thought but if you think about it the chicken house is essentially a 40K Titan for a few reasons

-It takes a really long time and takes alot of basic/rare resources to build
-the people who make them tend to be weird and and ethically bankrupt
-both have pseudointelligences controlling them
-both are insanely powerful due to them working of magic/tech from the past

Probably-not-a-flightless-bird and his Bad Hat Man aside, it occurs to me that this outing is probably slightly more important for the Senshi plotlines than it seems. Nodoka and her Byogen aren't the only possessing entities causing (some degree of) illness around, after all, and this experience, should it work rather than fail, will probably be useful if Usagi manages to coincidence into Hotaru.

Except unlike Titans, a Chickenhouse does not need an expsensive and well trained crew to operate it, making it a clearly superrior choice. :V

It's actually more similar to an Imperial Knight actually considering how it has one seat, doesn't like people other than it's owners and has surprisingly good agility
I did not know imperial knights came with multiple floor plans. :V
And titans have surprisingly good agility, ofcourse at that size not crumbling under its own weight while waling is surprisingly good agility so that's not saying much.
Also not sure the chickenhouse actually likes its owner, what little we saw into what passes for its mind did not exactly seem fond of the owner, but then i may be over reading into the single line.

Basically it has the same attitude as mechanicum Knights/Titans: " I'll tolerate you fleshbag, but the moment you falter I'm totally gonna kill you/have first dibs on your soul"

Possibly, though i don't think we actually know if it has any emmotional response to its owner, or people in general, so far it has been purely defensive.
But either way, i suspect it is going to have a major attitude shift (in that it will gain an ability to have attitudes and/or opinions) if Naru starts doing home visits to help MCAT train it.
