[ ] Gretel
She's apparently getting involved in the Karaz Ankor's ambitions in the Border Princes.
That is in social vote of this turn. She may not be in charge but she is involved.
I mean, yeah. That's what Braganza's Besiegers are doing. Securing the place. I doubt she's in charge of the operation, but she might have moved up in the world while we weren't looking I suppose.Oh gods did she take the border princess job? I bet she took the border princess job.
It's why I want to talk to her. Barak Var was looking for a human to trust and Gretel qualifies. Also she worked with Mathilde and is also a wizard. She is also to date Mathilde best student.Oh gods did she take the border princess job? I bet she took the border princess job.

It's been close to 3 years now I think since we talked to her on screen. It was the turn before Dum. Also she was fairly competent. Also was not Mathilde a peasant girl with no training in managing when she started out.Isn't she also a former street urchin with no experience managing subordinates and no real college training in the matter? I do not think she would fit from what we know. Then again we have hardly seen all she is doing, so for all we know she could have gained those stills off screen.

It's been less than you think. You nod. "Very well. Gretel?"
"The Besiegers will be active around here for the foreseeable future," she says. "There's always work protecting caravans, and Barak Varr has us on retainer for some ideas they have in the Border Princes. And I've heard rumours of Nehekharan tombs in the area, if I do manage to track them down then a study of them would be of great interest to the Order."
The reason why I'm voting for the Cult of Taal is because we keep on running into waystones at Cult of Taal&Rhya holy sites, which increases the odds that they know something. I can pull citations if you want. Why the Tilean Cult of Myrmidia or the Cult of Taal about the Waystone Project? I don't know enough about them to understand why they're singled out in particular.
What update(s) was the "newfound partnership between the Light Order and the Cult of Gazul" talked about? I don't remember it.
One of the prices the Light Order asked for their support for the Waystone Project was a friendly introduction to the Cult of Gazul. What update(s) was the "newfound partnership between the Light Order and the Cult of Gazul" talked about? I don't remember it.

The wedding's actually held in Karak Eight Peaks.
That's why I said 'based on'. There's also the Skaven quest, where the players take the role of Thanquol as he leads the Skaven race during the End Times.

The partnership between the Light Order and the Cult of Gazul was a price we paid Matriarch Mira for the support of the Lights, during T36.
