Which god, @DragonParadox?
How feasible is a third option, @DragonParadox, namely cutting the assets loose to go on with their lives, marrying as they wish with our blessing, perhaps even suggesting that they be forthcoming with their former employment by the Imperium? We could even give each happy couple a nice wedding gift.
Alternatively, we could approach the god and the religion and broker a deal. Hopefully their gods aren't opposed to us like the Yi Tish Kami are.

You could do that, yeah but it would come out that they had been loyal to the Imperium until very recently

The local god of smiths and weavers. It is unlikely that a god would allow a false witness under his power

Maybe going forward the Inquisition should avoid hiring people who want to get married in the near future. Only already married or stubbornly single people. Never occurred to me before that this would be a way gods figure us out, but it makes way too much sense.

Would the priesthood be open to a meeting with Imperial agents?

But if questioned, the official line can be "we realize how impractical it is for one to have divided loyalties and so preempt them to avoid putting people in a position where they must betray those they chose to act in good faith toward due to implicit obligations involved in service to either side".

Which at worst means that Viserys sees this as common enough an issue that he has people working for him all around the world, which people already know unless they're blind to our foreign intelligence organization, with public branch offices across two continents separated by thousands of miles, but with identical rules and regulations. Instead of the disconnected informers and spy rings that most of the world relied upon for centuries or more.

[X] Offer the Inquisition agents a choice of being smuggled out before they can be discovered, or if they are willing, to make their new families aware of their association with the Imperium. If they choose the latter option, they are to also make it known that we will be severing covert ties with them, under oath if necessary, though the possibility remains for a more normalized relationship where they serve as points of contact between their new families and associated guilds.
-[X] In this case, we will also make a donation to each family in the form of a generous wedding gift.

[X] Goldfish

If this turns out well, lets sponsor a comedic play based on this.

It would be great for public image and abroad to associate inquisition members with something similar to 007 or Get Smart. A more glamorous and humorous tale on the inquisition to make other nations almost want an ex agent of the Imperium.

Yes... but you are still admitting they had deep cover spies. These people did not just work for Viserys they worked for and with the Inquisition and in the months of infiltrating they never brought up this to anyone including their soon to be spouses. It will be known you have deep cover assets and it will be hard to spin as anything else because it is two people at the same time.

[X] Summon the Fertility Goddess with Sixteen Tits and get her measure.

C'mon, we all know why we want the Summer Isles people!

...chocolates of course! The tits were birds.

What would you recommend?
Considering my involvement in background stuff, I can not comment. But I can certainly point out things that Viserys would know himself or which the relevant people in his employ could point out.
We could have them foisted off to a distant corner of the Imperium under mind blank for the foreseeable future. Hint at Deep Ones or devils.
Qyburn can certainly Animate Dead some random chunks and gibblets from Qohor to give you a "Deep One" to snatch them up with.

Okay, I'm not super comfortable with the idea of forcing these agents to abandon their lives and lovers, but I've been convinced it's probably for the best.

[X] Smuggle the agents out before the ceremony, there will be some suspicion at their vanishing, but it will not travel far you hope

Maybe we should reconsider the deep cover agents being used in the Summer Islands? If they stayed secret that's fine, but with them being exposed like this and mistrust of the Imperium brewing, we might be better off refraining entirely and sticking strictly with diplomacy and trade.

Completely off topic, but I've got the Olympic Archery competition playing in the background right now and felt like I should be annoyed on Mereth's behalf. I guess I had a mistaken idea of how skilled archers should be at this level of competition, because these people don't really seem all that good.

Not expecting dead center bullseye shots every time, just close to it? I mean, damn, their bows look like they were designed by NASA and they even have little targeting scope things on them.

They would cause suspicion no matter where they are, these are standard inquisition tactics. Generally speaking if you ask the spies to gather info they will spy on people and deep cover is part of that when trying to gather background information as the action implied. Some interests are easier to see and understand from the inside

What exactly did they want to find out here anyway?

@DragonParadox
Can we act directly before the ceremony, give them Mindblank, SR and willsave-buffs to the max so that this option:

[] Let them go through with it, they might be able to resist the magic and of not they are distant enough from the direct hand of the crown that they can be disavowed

becomes more likely to succede?
