Prince Aladdin Quest (Disney Villains *Almost* Victorious)

I know, and I hate skipping her again this turn, but LifeandLice made a good point about getting around to managing a mount for Aladdin, and I want to recruit Selous. Since Aladdin only has two personals, something had to give.
At this point you're kinda making excuses not to spend any time on Jasmine. Turns are two months, and if we want the relationship to work we need to make an effort every few turns instead of constantly delay things. If we take time now to go to Jasmine next turn we can skip spending a personal on Jasmine, as we'll likely be going into Agrabah with a personal action for Aladdin then,, where a Jasmine encounter is possible, but not the main focus.

It's ironic you would say that, as just a couple of turns ago I was arguing furiously for corresponding with her every turn. I'm not making up excuses - I really do hate not writing her, but I think we have more urgent matters literally on our doorstep.

With that said... if I hear from more people in favor of corresponding with Jasmine this turn than picking a mount from the menagerie, then I'll swap it out. But the consensus both here and on Discord was for the mount. Why didn't you say anything then when I was proposing the plan that I ended up posting? I've been here for three hours talking plan stuff.

For me I am online for a bit then go offline for a while right now. So I leave heavy discussion to others and ask for some small stuff. Beside we can get the mount anytime meanwhile I am pretty sure Jasmine will thought we are abandoning her with how intense the situation in Agrabah is right now.

I don't use discord as simple as that. And I skim stuff. I also don't see how we will get a mount. Which is contributing to my skepticism of the need to not spend an action on Jasmine when we have dropped communication with her since last turn.

The DC for a mount is high, how are we going to pass that? We rely on bonuses to improve our odds heavily. The personal action rolls are historically bad.

Dice don't have agency, and they don't care how well or poorly they've rolled in the past. Acting like the rolls have an agenda is silly. Past rolls is no predictor of future performance.
I also don't see how we will get a mount.
From the DC and the description, I'm guessing that rolling under 60 means Aladdin just had a relaxing time at the Menagerie, and rolling over 60 means that he gets to pick a mount.

To the people debating the mount. If you want the dragon we have it doesn't reach maturity till turn 10. We might want to wait till then of that's the specific mount you want.

If you don't care about the dragon as a mount then carry on.

Gather Info to bring to bear next turn on the Witches. All seems good to me.

Take it from someone who lives next to several farms. You don't wait until somethings mature to put people on its back. That has a history of going violently wrong.

I would still prefer not taking the action to look for a mount. We are likely to expect mundane animals as the mount. Mundane means limitations of a normal animal. We lack fast mobile transportation like a truck. I can't imagine riding an elephant everywhere in a few weeks, or just one horse everywhere. We have one magical creature, and if the roc adventure is more than fruitful maybe a roc as a possibility.

- [X][Personal] Correspond with Jasmine
Better to stick to how Jasmine wished to conduct things. Pen her a letter, tell her about Ababwa and what's been happening. Barring any state secrets of course... Can affect relationship with Jasmine.
DC: Variable
We have two personal actions, not one. And the amount of cash being spent exceeds our limit, I think

[X] Please Let This Go Right!
Did...did you check how much your plan costs? Because I just did, and it's expensive. We currently have 18,000 gold, with an income of 9,000 net per turn. Your plan costs 22,000 gold.

Furthermore, you put all of the heroes on Personals when you have some very steep DCs to pass. Lastly, you only chose one Aladdin PA, when he has two.

I would still prefer not taking the action to look for a mount.
I'm going to ask TempestK if succeeding on the roll would mean getting the Sirrush. If not, I'll switch to correspondence. @TempestK, your insight please? :) I would like to point out, though, that training a mount generally means starting when it is young, whether it be a horse, an elephant, or a dragon-horse-lizard-thing.

I too would rather swap the Menagerie Action for talking with Jasmine.

I'm kinda against Tranquil As A Forest since it does Cat's in the Cradle instead of dealing with our military shortfall, doesn't do anything with Jasmine after we skipped her last turn, and does the star charts instead of the extra action.

I know the charts were to prep for the map adventure but I think the sand witch adventure has moved up in priority so the charts can probably be okay for a bit.

The diplomacy being used to try for the west area isn't too big of a deal since that is potentially time sensitive.

Geez, guys, Tempest already said that even if we don't pick to correspond with Jasmine as a personal action we'll still be doing it, just not focusing on it as much. Please stop saying that not picking it is going to completely ruin our relationship.

Like, remember the opening vote for whether to go with correspondence or regular visits? Tempest outright said that choosing regular visits would lock in a personal action for it. Since choosing correspondence didn't do that, it should be obvious that it's not necessary to do each turn.

We've wanted them for a while cause they're handy to have, and we're expecting to start a fight with sand witches next turn or so. Units that can see in the dark sound rather handy for either assassination or working through whatever sandstorm they may try to use to escape.
Dealing with our military shortfall is gonna be either very costly and difficult, or lock us into into having our commanders settling down over there with that affecting our future with the north. And even if we did the second, we still couldn't do anything until the turn after this one to improve our militaries situation.
doesn't do anything with Jasmine
As much as it bites me, I'm okay with giving up on getting the dragon mount this turn. I want it, and I want it bad for a variety of reasons but I get if y'all believe the action is better spent talking to Jasmine.

Still say we need to do it before turn 10. We have to get it used to being mounted before it matures or we're gonna have a hell of a time trying to ride it.
star charts instead of the extra action.
We can't consistently reach the extra actions DC right now. Star Charts are a safer bet and we don't want them just for the journey. We just got access to a bit of Sea and as long as we can use the stars and Will as guidance that potentially opens up alot and helps keep the DC's low.

[X] Plan: Integration and One Adventure

come on for once I want to play a CK quest where there are real conquests. this is the closest to that of what is proposed. (besides the adventure team is top)
