One option for a more unique crown would be to craft it like a slotless item and fluff it as a set of very fancy Ioun stones that form the core of her gemstone corona.

Lya can easily buff herself to the gills for any time she actually needs to wants to interact with the Court. That's going to be infrequent enough that I don't see the need to invest gear in it.

Yeah, Silver Spindles are great. Expensive and limited, but the effect is really good since the caster level is determined by the user's character level.

We can add some Metamagic Rods of Toppling Spell to our next commission order. To paraphrase @Duesal, Gotta collect'em all!
Yess.... I want all the Greater Metamagic Rods for Viserys.

That's basically what Ioun Stones are. They already have the built in 100% cost increase for slotless items. A crown, real or illusory, wouldn't even need to be enchanted for Lya to benefit from the Ioun Stones.

Hell, an Ioun Stone that produces an illusion of a crown while rendering all of the stones Lya is using Invisible wouldn't be complicated.

I was thinking more about having one very tricked out set of stones that serves as a crown, so that she has something truly unique. Preferably a Mythic item.

Lya's just one tier away from gaining the Mythic Crafter feat so we can make that a reality.

What did that one Demon use again to get a spell off in the Snare?

Would be neat if her crown would let her ignore an AMF once per day. Maybe also give it the ability to create an AMF. Mythic Improved Counterspell as a Bonus Feat would fit thematically to that.

It used a magic item imbued with a single syllable of the Final Incantation, which Lya then learned for herself through the help of the Old Gods.

Invoke Magic, a 9th level Sorcerer/Wizard spell.

Thankfully, Lya and Viserys can both duplicate it using Wild Arcana.

Runecrafting III

An enchanter possessing this feat can shape magic in accordance to the ancient traditions of the First Men, allowing them to use any one of the following abilities.

Legend-wrought: May reduce the cost of any enchantment process (or group of such processes) so long as they align with the zeitgeist associated with the base object (example: a famed explorer's ship taking to the sky, a mighty fortress gaining walls impossible to scale, etc). The reduction in cost depends on the scale of the legend ranging from 10%-50%. This bonus stacks with and is added after any other cost-reducing feats.

Elder Roots: May at the cost of doubling the price of an enchantment or group of enchantments (inducing but not limited to wards, traps, and lineage blessings) make the magic far more resilient, echoing back upon the world from the Dreamlands. This means that any dispel checks made against it are rolled twice, choosing the lowest result. The spell may endure for millennia of waning magic and has a 20% chance to continue to function even in an anti-magic effect. (May be improved with use and study)

First Tongue: Offers a significant boost to researching new magical effects at the cost of longer research times.
So, for this, we've completed the anti-Efreeti fortress. And we've completed the Imperial Palace. Maybe decking out the Scholarum in runic wards can have a chance of Lya breaking through to Runecrafting IV? I would have suggested studying the Wall and Winterfell and Storm's End, but DP made a point of saying this progresses better with doing rather than with studying.

Speaking of Lya's crown, have we any ideas or designs for the wedding rings?

A Sword Without a Hilt: A Song of Ice and Fire/D&D 3.5 Crossover In a world where magic has all but guttered to ashes, becoming the fare of charlatans, petty conjurers, and ragged illusionists, a mighty change is stirring. From small and fragile sparks a great blaze will be reborn and men will...

Okay, does anyone remember the black dragon scale that we identified here?
Did we ever do anything with it, could it be useful for our personal advancement or our Godcrafting by now?
