[] Sul-Da
+Spirit of the Far Spheres (Able to Negotiate skillfully with Extraplanar powers)
+Peace-Maker (Can bring even hostile powers or interests to considering a common goal)
+Even Handed (Will not be seen as favoring any of the large trade interests in the realm)
-Firebrand (Very Economically and Socially Liberal)
-Dark Moods (Like many archons still struggling with the Fall of Heaven)

...this guy rings something fierce within me. As if I saw someone with a trait much like him.

I can't put any names to it, but I know he would be a bad choice. He's prime 'bribing' material.

So we have two different flavors of Braavosi hate, and a depressed liberal left activist

[X] Menel Goldentooth

Braavos can suck it, Menel was the one who actually taught us how to do business.

The dichotomy of him being a fire brand but also an immortal spirit is funny to me.

I just remembered who I was thinking of for public works, the Archmaester you spoke of on matters of economics and trade, sadly I made him a loyalist so he is unlikely to be trusted with such a high ranking posting and with good reason.

Archon would be cool but the downsides are unfortunately too much.

Things sure have worked out well for the Windward Bros since they sold us their clubhouse all those years ago. Well, for most of them. Tor doesn't count.

Are any of these guys regretting their choices after being given the "opportunity" to observe, lo and behold, Viserys has taken over, and things haven't spontaneously combusted because he was incapable of parsing the idea of a "measured response"?

...

The mass slaughter of the Fey High Nobility was a completely measured, even-handed response, if you at least consider what they were attempting to do, first!

Some yes, even sincerely so in the case of a few Archmaesters. Mostly it is the lower ranks who are regretting they did not know more about the situation and defect.

It's just incredible how many didn't even try to probe what was going on by sending feelers out overseas. Like they started to buy into the Lannister propaganda.

Tor made his choices.

We made ours.

He certainly didn't have a choice. From his perspective, we just decided to attack him just before we left Braavos, which led to series of paranoid decisions delivering him into the hands of Sseth.

We still have that path in the Shadowlands to where the actual body of the Lying Snake is, with our Tor's memory you know.

Fetch quest! Fetch quest! Fetch quest!

I'm pretty sure some people are annoyed, since the flavor of that vote was "go deal with Tor", not "go murder him in cold blood" in the first place. I know we established this since there was extensive handwringing over how we "forced him to become a slaving blood mage" etc. etc.

We didn't force him into shit, he just didn't trust us to create a good compromise. He gave our little sister birthday presents, I'm sure we would have at least talked first, but I guess that's just an IC hindsight plausibility, I'm not sure how bloodthirsty the people who voted at the time were feeling.

Please elaborate.

Edit: Mind, I am not particularly bloodthirsty or anything.
I am taking exception with that having apparently somehow slipped my attention for years, and all my lists as such.
