Okay, just gonna steal @Duesal's plan, which is much more comprehensive than mine. Because he told me to! 🧐

DP does it look like I care about laws? Besides nothing says we can't make a clone body to hang while we shove the real ones into some Weirwood roots or whatever. I just don't want to deal with either working with her or making a prison that could keep her. So perma-death it must be.

Viserys does kind of care though since he wrote most of those laws. It's a pretty important element of characterization and I have gotten in trouble in the past for not enforcing those.

I know man. I just, really, really don't want to deal with the inevitable salt filled vote on whether to imprison, execute or work with her. And I just personally dislike the Lannisters and Nobles in general so watching her die pathetically while having all the personal power in theory would be very satisfying...

Why kill a perfectly good book? Copy the book, then kill her.

[X] Lanna has willfully committed the same acts as Tywin and will be found guilty like him. Her reasoning and justifications do not matter.
-[X] Keep asking questions as per Goldfish.

I've heard enough. Let's get this over with.

In the immediate aftermath of their return from Valyria there were no fewer than three attempted infiltrations among the circle of Lanna's students, the last of which cost the lives of practically all of them and very nearly ended with her enthralled also.
Here's the question though, why did she keep failing or near-failing here?

We were no better in terms of skill and power than her for our early years and far lesser in ressources.
Yet we beat the Deep Ones at every step, foiled their plans, attacked them on their homeground and even intimidated them into staying away from us (not unlike Tywin thought to do with the Devils).

Why were they such persistant and terrible foes to drive her ever further towards extreme measures, while they were a light afternoon's work for us?
They worst they ever managed was the little firework in early SD (still TD at the time) and we propably took more advantage from that in terms of bringing the people truly on our side than we payed in rebuilding.

Edit: To bring it into one question, why did the world drive her into worse and worse mindsets and resulting decisions while we easily swam on top of the tsunami of returning magic?
Just bad luck?

Because by the time she had convinced herself that Viserys was not a Deep One plant she had already dug herself a very deep pit in opposing you guys, by the time she had overcome even that and was considering defecting Tywin struck his Formian deal

She hired minions instead of making friends. No Companions would mean a hugely increased workload.

Well, it's time for a deliberately losing vote.
@ Goldfish Could you include the underlined items so that I can switch to your plan?

I mean long before that point.
Why was every supernatural faction clowning on her while we cruised through them as if the dragon-train had no brakes?

  1. No gods on her side, no snake belt and no Last Greenseer
  2. Having to spend a lot of time and effort dealing with Tywin that you guys could sink into advancement
  3. The constant suspicion hindering the growth of her organization which almost put it into a death spiral before she pushed the geas button
Lanna was playing inside a system trying to shore it up, you guys were replacing the system

No substantial circle of approximate equals to rely on, so the enemies kept going after the weaker links. Cue downward spiral.

Aaand Garin'd by QM twice over

For those who want punishment above all else, consider that the Imperator deliberately breaking his own laws may in fact metaphysically weaken our Empire and the nascent priests of it. Do it by the book or not at all.

Probably because she didn't deliberately take insane risks like throwing down with an aspect of a ruler of one of the nine hells.

For now I will stick to this...I don't trust this women and frankly she is guilty as sin but I would like to judge the whole family at once. A grand fuck you to the Lannisters if you will.
