@DragonParadox what is the average level of a Westerosi knight ? , as those knights are likely one of the few redeeming factors of the nobility as medieval knights begin their training at the age of 6 up to the point were they can squire under a proper full knight for a period of time gaining experience before becoming a full knight themselves , form that point forward the knight spends his time serving a lord doing stuff like hunting bandits and enforcing his will , fighting in wars and participating in tourneys couple all that with the fact that a knight will have the best access to food , training and equipment his house can afford while growing up I would put most westerosi knights between level 5 at minimum and level 10 at most with the most talented and accomplished breaking past the level 10 bottleneck . all in all a solid foundation to set up some paladin orders to channel all those knights into something truly worth while
Average, that is a bit of a tricky question, not all knights keep in practice after all and not all of them are even than martially inclined, but among those who do go to war, who form the hammer of the traditional Westerosi army they are level 4-5. Levels 6 and above are not for most anything unless you go crazy with training (like the Unsullied) or have some sort of magic buffs. That said your average tourney knight, the people whose names are known for their skill those are above the first soft can
Not how you had expected to hand off your first city charter, but you are not going to say no to the opportunity to introduce the court to another of the changes Imperial rule will bring. Might as well make it memorable. With a flourish, you cast a golden stylus in the air only for it to shift into the serpentine form of your arcane assistant midair. Already informed of what it was to do, the Calligraphy Wyrm catches the parchment and flies to a nearby table under the stoic... mostly stoic gazes of the Legion officers, though a few are fighting smiles not so much at the sight of the little golden dragon but at the expressions of the lords in attendance.
Blessed with arcane haste and a perfect memory of what it is supposed to look like, the diminutive scribe finishes writing up the charter in the space of only ten long breaths before flying over to deliver it into the hands of a bewildered Lewys Cobbler, who upon reading the first line almost drops it in shock.
"A charter for Grassy Vale, Goodman. You shall take over the powers of the lordship in accordance with the Imperial Constitution," you explain for the court at large as much as for him. "In the future, the Mayor will be elected by the Council in the first session after their election. As the first election of Voices shall have to be arranged and the lawmen and bureaucrats need to be appointed and will be busy for a while, the election of the new Mayor will be postponed. It will be held six months after the first session of the Council to ease the transition period."
The next look you take around the expressions of those attending is more revealing than they would likely wish. It seems that few indeed beyond Lady Merryweather had actually read the Constitution, and of those who did fewer still put much stock in it. The Law to them was not so far removed from what it is to Dalla and her kin, though they would likely be insulted at the comparison. Little more than an emanation of the present whims of the ruler moderated by tradition and precedent in theory, by the threat of rebellion in practice
"The lands that fell under the domain of House Roxton shall fall under the administration of the Imperial Crown from this present moment," you continue after the mayor had withdrawn, shock already giving way to calculation in his eye. He was no doubt considering how he might win the election and retain his present dignity and all the advantages that come with it.
After allowing that bit of news to sink in as deep as it will go, you expand upon your reasons in plain terms. "That is the promise of the Imperium. Not change for change's sake, but to improve upon what exists with measured steps. There is much that Essos and Westeros can learn from each other, and if all citizens work together, pooling their experiences and knowledge, then the sum will become much greater than the constituent parts."
Of course, a promise might be a threat by another name from a certain point of view, but none see fit to call you out on it thankfully. It seems that most of the lords present are, if not content with your judgement, at least not inclined to be the first to speak up on the matter for now.
Last to be judged are those lords nearest to the Red Keep, those who had most directly served your family of old and whose betrayals are perhaps the hardest to excuse. No overlord led them in rebellion, and no one pressed them to take Lannister gold and Baratheon honors. Not to mention that many of the first lords to swear an oath to you are among the same ranks, and some of them have clams to the lands of their less than loyal kin. Lord Rampton of Rosehouse and Lord Sunglass of Sweetport Sound both surrendered after a warning shot, whereas House Byrch of the Bywater is in a contested succession with the lord deposed by his own wife in favor of his son. Lord Edgerton had the misfortune of being caught with his pants literally down in the storming of the Red Keep, still a better fate than Lord Gyles Rosby who could be counted a true traitor by his attempted flight.
Most of the remainder of the lords of the Crownlands surrendered upon word of the fall of the Red Keep reaching them sometimes on the lips of their own kin, though you have at least one traitor to deal with at Rosby, and one very reluctant surrender at Hayford that might need seeing to.
Lord Rampton of Rosehouse -> Surrendered after warning shot
Lord Sunglass of Sweetport Sound -> Surrendered after warning shot
House Byrch of the Bywater -> Contested succession; old lord in custody
House Edgerton of Highridge -> Lord surrendered in the Red Keep
House Cressey of Goatsgreen -> Surrendered after word of King's Landing's fall arrived
House Rosby of Rosby -> Traitor, lord tried to flee the Red Keep and was caught in the secret passages
House Harte of Farwood -> Surrendered after word of King's Landing's fall arrived (Second son of the lord enthusiastic about Praetori)
House Hayford of Hayford -> Surrendered after word of King's Landing's fall arrived and a warning shot was given
House Stokeworth of Stokeworth -> Did not surrender until outer fortifications were reduced; later divinations revealed that the lady of the House was under an enchantment
House Chelsted of Corktown -> Surrendered after word of King's Landing's fall arrived
How do you judge the Crownlanders?

OOC: After this it is just a bit in the Westerlands, and we can wrap up the immediate post-conquest clean up.
[X] Plan Post-War Order - Crownlands
-[X] All border adjustments made under Baratheon rule are null and void.
-[X] Rosby will be seized and the family branded traitors.
-[X] Old Lord Byrch will be branded a traitor, but his family officially found loyal for arresting him and giving him into Imperial custody.
-[X] Stokeworth absolved of treason due to enchantment by Lannister forces. Wealth seized from Casterly Rock will be given to her in recompense for the damages incurred.
@Azel I understand that Crownlands is the last item in this event. So maybe we can vote in advance to complete the last tip in Red Keep? Well, to save us one update? For example, we will say in a month there will be a Great Council at which we will announce which will decide the territorial division of Westeros. You can also see that it will be possible to get to our capital even by land, because by that time the Narrow Sea Bridge will be completed.

For all his sins, and they are many, you find yourself quite glad to have suborned the former Grand Maester. Pycelle had been a decent record keeper and carefully compiled documents accounting for what land changed hands in the Crownlands in the aftermath of the Rebellion, allowing you to restore them all with a single stroke of the stylus without having to worry about that silent bane of Westerosi lordship, boundary disputes. A few of the lords on the winning side of things look like they are weighing up their options to try and push further claims, but Monford had thankfully spent the last year and more getting them accustomed to all the benefits they might reap from Imperial rule without needing more land. Thus even the ambitious Lord Blount, who had not gained any land out of the bargain, keeps his peace when he is not praising your justice and magnanimity in such glowing terms you wonder if he is about to set it all to verse.
"Gods, I can hardly wait to get back to the proper court in the Deep," Dany says without voice, though her expression remains impassive through the reading of the documents. "I mean, I know they will all be there as well, but at least there are plenty of older hands there to dilute all the enthusiasm. Do you think Baratheon required this much ass kissing?"
You consider the matter, your mood darkening slightly as you do so. "I think this might have more to do with the king before him. The only Targaryen king many of them knew was Aerys."
"... be it known that the fishing rights off Claw Isle are returned to House Celtigar forthwith," the Herald finishes reading off the last of the restitution.
Come to think of it, the sudden desire to wrap their words in silk and golden tassels might have something to do with the Herald's rather imposing presence reading off the documents. Maybe you'll use the Harbinger next time. For now you pick out the thread of judgement.
"Lady Tanda Stokeworth, hereforth absolved of treason by reason of enchantment by Lannister forces. Five thousand Golden Dragons seized from Casterly Rock will be given to her in recompense for the damages incurred."
The austere grey-haired woman who had spoken little throughout the audience smiles for the first time. That is a sum far in excess of what she needs to mend her keep, but then you doubt those are the only damages incurred after having fallen under Lannister enchantment.
When you go on to announce that the former Lord Byrch is to be removed as a traitor, though his family may keep the lands, the lady's parents preens at her wisdom. A handful of others seem less than pleased at the notion of rewarding such marital treachery by having no land taken away. The implications are not exactly subtle or slow to sink in. Hold the oath to the Imperium above others and you shall be rewarded.
Thankfully, the court does not have long to stew on the matter for there is one last cohort of nobles to step forth and bend the knee, those of the Westerlands. It is perhaps fortunate for them that their fellow highborn are not the sort to show their displeasure with rotting fruit like the common folk of King's Landing do, else they would be wearing them head to toe. In the absence of Tywin Lannister, it seems any Westerlander will do. Though House Brax, Jast, and Payne are clear traitors, their lands yours to distribute, you might have to do something to make sure the animosity towards the remainder of the western lords does not get out of hand. Or maybe not... the high nobles of the Westerlands are unlikely to love you for deposing the House that has ruled there since the Age of Heroes, a bit of external pressure might be just what you need to keep them from mischief.
