Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
[x] Markgraf of Eastern Stirland
[x] Count of Sylvania
[x] Bodyguard and Tutor to Prince Mandred
[x] Border Princess of the Howling River
[X] Spymaster of Wissenland

As best I can tell, that's the proper voting style? Someone let me know if it isn't. I'm trying to follow the thread but it's moving crazy fast...

Edit: Added the vote for Countess as that's roughly similar to being Markgraf

The Cult of Shallya doesn't publicly acknowledge the possibility, and after a few of the more exotic pretenders to the Imperial throne and Kislev having a Tzarina that reigned for 156 years, people are unlikely to react well to an ageless ruler. And the Tsarevich Pavel Society exists entirely to oppose that possibility.
Wow, Sylvania really is the best fief, huh. Roswita's offer just gets better and better.
If we accept her offer, the Sylvanians will replace their undying ruler who controls ghosts and drinks blood with an undying ruler who controls apparitions and takes cash! Not a huge paradigm shift, to be honest. We probably won't even be paying taxes to Stirland, we won't be bringing in the Church of Sigmar, and we definitely won't stop the strange magical experiments that occasionally taint the landscape.
After destroying Castle Drakenhof and the latest von Carstein Elector Countess, Mathilde the Lahmian agent has completed her mission!

Spectate and find out.
New job, new catchphrase! BoneyM revealed as being a cartoon character!

You did it correctly, no worries. Thank you for coming out to vote!
Reading about waystones for the next 15-20 turns doesn't sound that appealing tbh.
Genuine question: what about it is unappealing? Because I'm looking forward to a mix of "dealing with interesting characters like Vicereine Cadaeth," "visiting cool places like Laurelorn," "getting to work on a project with Panoramia," and "delving into magical secrets." Like, if that's not your jam, by all means vote against it, but it seems like the thread has a bunch of different beliefs about what the Waystones project would look like, so I'm curious about what specifically you find unappealing.

(Other people who have posted variants of "I don't like this" or "this is boring," feel free to answer as well.)

Insufficient stabbing and sneaking around.
I don't want a pure murderhobo quest, but we do need occasional life-or-death duels against Alakazam-tier opponents to keep the blood pumping.

I say this, but I voted for Waystones anyway...

[x] Markgraf of Eastern Stirland

The snake biting its own tail. A homecoming. Finishing what we started.

Conning a bunch of dipshits into believing we are a Vampire.

I like this option.

now that im a little less scared of Loremaster winning,

the votes I want to win:

[X] Markgraf of Eastern Stirland
[X] Border Princess of the Howling River

guys: these are such opportunities:

Markgraf is a job that only comes around once a century at most, it literally is a once in a lifetime chance to be the first Wizard Markfraf.

The Howling River is something almost unimaginable: valuable territory in the border princedom... and having Barak varr, the local superpower of the area, helping us keep and develop it. this is also, a literal once in history chance to make something of the area.

the votes that I will approval again if needed to beat loremaster.

[] Bodyguard and Tutor to Prince Mandred
[] The Waystone Project

I feel like there would be lot of stabbing and sneaking around.
After all it promises a lot of diplomacy, and Mathilde conducts diplomacy by killing mutual enemies.

My main gripe is that it isn't really time sensitive. There are options much more immediately interesting to me compared to Waystones. Like, yes we can research waystones, but we can also do one of the Empire options, go to Nagarythe after finishing that, and then come back and do the Waystones later.

The Waystone Project won't be 100% all the time researching waystones themselves; initially we already know it'll involve getting buy in, in order to fund future work which means travel and meetings and negotiations (in an RPG this is where sidequests would fall into our laps). Even once we have funding and support established we'll need to go about sourcing resources like ancient texts (possibly delving into abandoned dwarf Holds or ancient elven ruins). There'll be plenty of observing of Waystones which will involve more travelling (in order to get a good variety of data and cross referencing) and ultimate we'll have to do some experimenting with anything we learn.

All of this will of course overlap and intertwine and be interrupted by not only social actions, but also probably requests from stakeholders as well as friends and acquaintances that need help.

At no point during the quest has Mathilde's job been all consuming... it's right there in the title, 'divided loyalties.'

Obviously you are free and welcome to your own preferences, but I think people should keep in mind that there will be a variety of actions and avenues for the quest to explore no matter what post we decide on. This is just defining the parameters.

Adding Markgraf as it's another frontrunner now, and it's not staying with the dwarves.

TBH I couldnt explain it in exact words other than what we have already done with the Waystone just hasn't been interesting compared to the rest of the quest, and I would rather not be bogged down in something I already find not fun to read.
