[X][Naru] Lunar Healing Burst

a bit funny that this wasn't one of the basic choices.

Also Naru finally does something unarguably useful! (well, aside from extra action and finding the outer senshi)

If Usagi uses Lunar Healing Burst on Naru here, does that involve transforming into Sailor Moon in front of the police woman? I'm not concerned about Rei, but I'm not sure if we want to break our glamour /reveal our identity to the police woman right now.
. . . 😶 you don't pay much attention do you? It was literally just the last adventure that Usagi was able to use both Lunar healing spells in her civilian form; that is to say, without transforming into Sailor Moon. Or is it more that you've already forgotten the quest event in question, that was barely even a month ago? :eyebrow:

[edit] To wit, if the latter, then I feel for ya. I mean, I only got one more year till I'm forty and I'm already having memory problems, not "forgotten what happened last week" bad, but I apparently have trouble keeping track of wording once I pass some barrier between four weeks and six. (near as I can tell) Apparently the transition function between my short term and long term memory is starting to fail. So if yours has already failed, I do feel for you, and shudder at how long it'll be before I'm right there with you.

Dude, all you had to say was "Nah, Usagi's already learned how to cast Lunar Healing Burst without transforming, it's not a problem." Just because I forgot a single minor development in a quest from a month and 10 updates ago, doesn't mean you have to be a condescending jerk about it.

-[X] If it doesnt work then leave Naru with the policewoman.
--[X] Ask Rei if she's willing to come with us and that she will be risking her life. Say it in High Lunar.

[X][Naru] Leave Naru with Rei and the Policewoman
- This is a potentially bad idea. They just saw her use magic after all, but then she would not be in the middle of a fight while unconscious.

Never take potential Hostages into a fight, like for real why is that an option?

- You have a healing spell, use it to fix her up.
Can healing spells fix exhaustion through Magic overuse? Like legit question since I don't know I feel like it's a bad call though since we know her tune ups are due to past life, then there's the consequence of using Lunarian magic to fix someone who's only having these memory and magic probs cause of being in contact with other Lunarians.

Something tells me that the answer to this question would involve throwing dice.

Hopefully we can at least get her conscious. It doesn't, strictly, for practical purposes, matter much in the short term if she can cast more spells, as long as she's ambulatory and aware of her surroundings.

So, let's talk a little bit about optics - how does either of the three options look to the outsiders - namely to Rei and to the Policewoman.

Let's begin with taking unconscious Naru into danger zone. This certainly sounds like something the Policewoman should object strenuously. I would go so far to say that it utterly tanks our credibility in her eyes. Since we intend to have some kind of relations with law enforcement, this is not good at all. Rei would probably also object. On the whole, I find that option to be expedient, but unpalatable.

Let's continue with leaving Naru to Rei and the Policewoman. My, well, better guess would be that "SV optimized" Policewoman would call for reinforcements and relate all pertinent information (including how two of her colleagues were taken), have Rei help her move the unconscious girl out of the direct line of sight for the portal, leave said girl to Rei's care and follow us into the portal. I think Rei will stay put, in the end - or until the reinforcements arrive at a minimum. At which point her fiery temperament may have her act, or perhaps not.

In any case, if Rei stays put for any appreciable amount of time, she risks missing a "totally-coincidental-and-not-violating-the-agreement-with-ravens" chance to transform into Sailor Mars and be involved without delay. Because if she does transform we will need to brief her on the overall situation and she is most likely going to involve herself.

Healing Naru... Is going to raise some eyebrows and make the witnesses worry for our common sense even if it succeeds, if Naru insists on continuing. We had to use magic just to get her to wake up, Naru isn't in a good enough state to act much, afterwards. Really the best practical outcome is Naru is healed, awakes, and decides to stay out of trouble - without needing Rei or the Policewoman (am I the only one with Hellsing flashbacks here?) to stay and keep an eye on her.

I say bring Naru with us so police wont identify her. if the police start following her then it will be harder for us to fight Youma.
Having her come along is one thing. Trying to get Naru out of Police custody is another.
