Usagi Quest (CK3/Princess Maker) (Sailor Moon)

Carefully, the girl looks all around, one side to the other, the other side back to the first, ahead and behind. The only person around is the man standing at the far end of the shrine, dutifully sweeping away at the leaves near the stairs.

Carefully, Usagi steps around to the far side of the tree, to where he won't be able to see her.

There is a flicker of magic, and Usagi blinks out of existence with a whisper of 「Sailor Teleport」

At the same time...

A bus travels the streets of Tokyo, moving closer and closer to the Hikawa shrine. Turning a corner, the bus enters into a tunnel. There is a moment where a girl of blue hair that starts, her head snapping back and forth, trying to find... something. She reaches into her pocket, but before she can do anything, there is a hiss, and almost immediately, the girl can feel her eyes drooping, the exhaustion setting in.

The girl isn't the only one to find herself slipping into slumber, but all around none of the waking riders don't seem to notice a thing, even as the people around them begin to pale, the colors fading and becoming more and more desaturated. Then with a quiet pop, close to ten people disappear from the bus. Unnoticed by anyone riding the bus, other than the smiling Driver.

Usagi pops back into the world, a few feet above the treetops. There is but a moment of realizing that this might not have been the best idea, before she crashes into the top layer of branches. The whole of the world becomes the green of fluttering leaves and the sounds of breaking branches. Hands wave wildly, trying to find something, anything that she can get a hold of.

Finally, a thicker branch hits her upper arm, and the girl's arms grab hold. She lurches to a stop. Pulling herself up, she starts to slowly scoot closer and closer to the tree's trunk. She drops, nowhere near as far or as fast as when she feel into the treetops, instead slipping down branch by branch until she can finally see the ground.

A hop, and Usagi passes the last of the leaves, the world finally reappearing. Glancing up, the girl looks in the direction of the shaking tree, and what does she see?

A young man, dressed in red, with long white hair, golden eyes, and a pair of canine ears atop his head, who is glaring up at a pair of birds, before the crashing sound draws his eyes over to Usagi.

Inuyasha stares at Usagi for a long moment, looking completely confused. "Oh! Hey Inuyasha!" The girl says, grinning. "Why are you out here in the forest next to the Hikawa Shrine?"

The boy grumbles for a moment, turning back to glare up at the Birds. "Because these damn birds won't let me any closer."

"This is holy ground," One of the two birds argue, her voice clearly feminine, "It is not for the likes of you to rampage and pillage, Demon."

"And I've told you," Inuyasha snaps. "I don't care about your stupid temple, or your stupid fire. I'm just here for my friend, and I will get out of your hair. The sooner I found Kagome, the sooner I can get back to what we actually need to be focusing on, and leaving you alone."

"Likely story..." The other crow growls out, his voice clearly masculine. "There ain't anyone named Kagome at the Hikawa Shrine, I would know."

"And why should I believe you?" The Dog demon asks, "You ain't a Youma or a spirit, I don't know what you are." With a growl, Inuyasha lashes out with a kick, the entire tree shaking from the impact. "Just gimme back Kagome."

"We don't have your stupid demon wench!" The male crow snaps back, and you can hear Inuyasha growl.

"Okay, that's enough!" You snap, stepping between the two, hands held out. "What is going on here?"

The suffering I've been through for my Princess? ) "The Masculine Crow grumbles.

Usagi turns to the crow, pointing a finger. "Shut." She says, firmly. "I don't know who you are." The crow scoffs, "And at the moment, I don't care about your suffering." The crow stops scoffing, turning to the other crow. "I've got a Youma kidnapping people passing near the shrine, and evidence that at least implies that a Youma from the Dark Kingdom is fucking around here."

"ᛁᛟᚢ... ᚢᚾᛞᛖᚱᛊᛏᛟᛟᛞ ᚹᚺᚨᛏ ᚺᛖ ᚹᚨᛊ ᛊᚨᛁᛁᛜ? ᛞᛟ ᛁᛟᚢ ᚢᚾᛞᛖᚱᛊᛏᚨᚾᛞ ᚹᚺᚨᛏ ᛁ ᚨᛗ ᛊᚨᛁᛁᛜ?(You... understood what he was saying? Do you understand what I am saying?)"The other crow asks.

"Of course I can understand you." Usagi says, looking more than a little confused. "I mean," Something about Usagi changes, the way that she stands, the tone of her voice, even the look in her eyes all shift just a hair, enough to make the hairs on the back of Inuyasha's neck stand up. "I learned 「Maresi」 when I was growi-" Usagi lets out a little grunt, one hand coming up and rubbing at her brow. "That's... never happened before." The girl says with a groan. "The Princess's memories don't tend to pop up like that."

"You can't seriously expect me to believe that you are our Princess, can you?" The masculine crow growls out.

"Okay, I'm not ever the one to do this," Inuyasha says, stepping between, "But stop fighting, and what the hell is going on."

"Short story," Usagi says, "I mentioned the last time we met that Sailor Mercury and I were looking for the Princess of the Silver Millennium." The dog demon gives a grunt of understanding, which the two crows look to each other. "Well, since then I've found Sailor Jupiter, and learned that the Moon Princess we've been looking for is me."
"The Moon Princess..." The male crow scoffs, but the other crow hops closer, flapping her wings once to leap up onto your shoulder. She looks at you carefully, before hopping overhead to land on your other shoulder, looking at you from the other angle.

"Well," The female crow says, "You certainly look like the Moon Princess, but you could just be a cunning impersonator. After all," The Crow looks from you to the Demon boy, "Why would the Moon Princess be willing to work with a Youma?"

"Why are you even asking her?" The male crow asks, "Let's just drive them both off and be done with it."

"For two reasons." the female crow says, "The first is the fact that this is our responsibility. The second is she does indeed remind me of the Princess, and if she is the real deal..." The Crow turns to Inuyasha, "Well, then I will make good on my responsibility, and allow you to bring the Demon onto our grounds."
