[X][Police] Do not meet with the police

And Word of QM tips the scales of my indecision. That is exactly what I was worried about. Thank you.

[X][Police] Meet with the Police
[X][Cure] You are already planning on talking with the Pretty Cure about their villain, you might as well try and convince them to meet the police with you, stand together as allies against evil and all that
[X][Tux] However, you have a really solid feeling that he is not interested in meeting with the police

If we knew that it was members of the burgeoning "Magic Task Force" we saw in the latest Kumiko Quest entry who were going to be the first responders we'd talk to here, then I'd actually be willing to take a chance on them, but we don't know that. If it ends up being regular cops who start questioning us in the rubble of this, our most collateral damage-heavy conflict to date, then it's kind of the worst introduction to the authorities we can have up to this point. Technically they'd be obligated to arrest us for vigilantism, even though I don't think they'll actually try it unless we fail our rolls really badly.

One of the reasons for going with Alice's Full Support earlier this turn, was so that we could have people who actually know what they're doing help us get in positive contact with the more important authority figures (like Superintendent Sakurada). But she hasn't had time to actually set the company up yet.

I had originally been planning to vote that we do talk to the police and ask both other factions to stick around for it (there is definitely something to be said for presenting a united front), but the point about the unpredictability of which cops we get is a good one (we could easily get one that feels the need to pin the blame on someone and is willing to go after the most convenient target).

I'm a little uncomfortable about throwing Sebastian to the wolves here, but there is a difference between "passing the buck" and "calling in the expert," and the current situation is the latter.

I would prefer for us to get our story out there first, but... hmm... I can't tell if meeting the police would help or hinder. I suppose it depends on the political leanings of the first responders and their immediate bosses.

Controlling who we meet would probably be better in the end. Especially if we make sure to secure other backing in other areas first, but Alice alone covers a lot of that I think. Mostly its PR and Money, the former speaking to the public and the latter speaking to the politicians and companies.

I find it funny that we're the team planning to punch the politics in the face so that hopefully other girls won't need to.

[X][Police] Do not meet with the police

We're still sorting things out with our potential allies. Now isn't the time to deal with the police

[X][Police] Do not meet with the police

If it's not gonna cause problems later then no we don't want our first meeting to be with first responders.

"It's fine." Makoto says, wincing a little, "I should have been a little more careful around all that fire." The girl says, her eyes turning to where Mercury was doing much the same for the two other magical girls that Usagi was doing for her, while Tuxedo Mask stands to one side, having picked up the growling cat-girl by the scruff of her neck and keeping her at an arms distance.
well, I appreciate him staying around to help for once.

"I'll admit that I am partial to what the Pretty Cure call me. Mister Tuxedo, but I have a feeling that you are asking for something a little more personal."
Mister Tuxedo sounds admittedly pretty good. :V

"You're thinking this through." Tuxedo Mask says in response, but there is a smile on his face, and not an unkind one either. "I'm not ready to tell you my civilian name, but there are a few things that I can tell you." The man pauses, before glancing over to the others. "However, before I am willing to say anything, there two outliers that I am not willing to speak in front of."
FINALLY, and yeah, that's understandable.

"Oh!" Sailor Moon claps, "Yes, yes. That is the other thing. This isn't the first time that we've ended up hitting the same place at the same time."

"True." Tuxedo Mask admits,

"It probably won't be the last either." Sailor Moon continues

"Also true." Tuxedo Mask butts in again.

"If this is a thing that is going to keep on happening, then wouldn't it be better for us to have some way to talk to each other and communicate?"

"You have a point," Tuxedo Mask begins, "However the girl is starting to wake up, so let's hold off on this discussion for now."
I can hardly believe it, Mister Tuxedo is being reasonable!

[X][Police] Do not meet with the police

I'd prefer our first meeting to be on our terms, and possibly after we already established a good reputation with the general public.

Also preferably with a plan on how to approach them, what to say, what to ask and what to offer.

Also it's probably better to first reach an understanding with Mister Tuxedo and the Precures before we go and involve the authorities.

The perfect might be the enemy of the good enough, but there's also something to be said against trying to rush too many things at the same time.

…how the hell did he manage that?
…wait, he is the 'prince of earth' or some such right? Does he have the Disney Princess skill: friend to all animals?

[X][Police] Do not meet with the police
The time is not right. When we have a company properly setup we can speak to them as more than a group of underage vigilantes.

I just want to make sure I understand... if we don't want to meet with the police, do we get our "talk to Pretty Cure or try to get information out of Tuxedo Mask" options aborted?

Seems the opposite to me, if we don't talk to the police then we finish our questions as planned.
"If you do not wish to speak with the authorities, and need a small amount of additional time, I am certain that I will be able to delay them for a few more minutes."

Ten minutes is more than enough time to finish up the discussions that you are already planning on having,
But if we decide to not stall the cops in favor of talking to them, then our planned questions might get interrupted or changed depending on how the others participate (or don't).

[x][Police] Do not meet with the police

I mostly don't want to meet the police, because it will be an escalation in terms of the narrative. The Senshi already have more attention on them than I prefer for the moment.

[X][Police] Do not meet with the police

Forget the police; the real prize here is potential collaboration with Pretty Cure and Mister Tuxedo. Especially Tuxedo.

Staying to wait for the police would also give more time to talk with the Pretty Cure as we do not have to leave a few minutes before the police arrive.
