@DragonParadox Out of curiosity...

Low-key nobody mentioning the fact we can build TRAINS now?!
Salting about stuff and fawning over shiny minions becoming shinier has always been the two priorities the thread held straight.
:V

@Azel, @Crake, I'm semi-confident we can fit in 1 or 2 more technologically-oriented RAs into the 4th month with a great/decent guarantee of the completion.
Question ofc, is, do we have any we want done?

Because otherwise imma just point all arcane 'engineers' of ours at starting to make more Warforged!Forges as a Progress-sink for their somewhat narrow field of in-narrative proficiency.

Alternative I can think off the top of my head are Inquisitorial Launchers, but I'm not sure about practicality or strategic usefulness at the moment. Need feedback from ya two.

Bloodraven if fine with his body (or at least he was when it was not a withered husk). Being a very powerful warg and a person rather light on conscience if he wanted another body when he was young he would probably have just stolen it.
Ah yes, but he would have been ethical about his body theft, no? :V

Further progress on Construct Armor, I guess. I kinda want the top tier set for Sandor.

What happens if we Reincarnate someone who relied on a bloodline (like Viserys and his Valyrian bloodline PrC before he became a True Dragon) into a body that doesn't have it? And what happens if Bloodraven weatgs himself into a new body : will his Sorcerer advancement get harder? Presumably he won't lose his magic (that's tied to the soul and to knowledge) but how will advancement work? Will he keep his connection to Dragon Dreams despite the lack of actual Dragon blood?

Hmh.

@Azel, @Crake, @Duesal, I return with the "half-asleep ideas" to y'all.
It is cheesy and cheap, but it's a thing acknowledged in-setting...

We gave a ridiculous amount of Knowledge: History in our library. +47 or something?

For context, Knowledge of Planetos pre-First Long Night needs roll of 100 to be known by the one rolling, as per DP's ruling earlier.
It is already (if barely) within Viserys' reach if properly buffed and in our library.

And this Knowledge is unique to Plane of Balance and it alone.

If we are to take all of it to the Shaitan Spire, we probably could get an incredibly good exchange of knowledge: Psionics from them.

And by this point of our inter-state cooperation and our take-over of the Planetos it really doesn't matter what info any of the Genie find in our history books, because they really, really aren't going to do anything against us on a state level...
...Or even be able to do anything to affect our Planar dominance later with, by the time Efreeti War's over, either.

So there is no real paranoiac reason to hold into it right now either, unlike our first visit.
I think a full lore exchange with the Spire would be massively worth it. However, we'd get more out of the bargain if we deliberately wait until after the Citadel's library has been confiscated.

The default for Bloodraven is Cyclic Reincarnation, so same bloodline.

I just realized I completely forgot and missed the Lollth's priestess Dany restored from being a Staff, ever since that happened, and forgot to include her anywhere.
What level was she, again..? Was she a Reaearcher-equivalent of a PC?

Fair enough, try and remind me later maybe plz, chances are I'll forget :/

Fair enough, I guess. We have only so many "inventions" among the RAs that are similar enough to physics/normality to drop the engineering university on it as well.

Wouldn't the body just become dragon-touched and thus count for the purposes mechanically? If the dragon-blooded being had a pure enough concentration associated with their race, anyway.

She's got a lot of acclimating to do, including figuring out an alternative source for her magic, IIRC. I wouldn't bother trying to get much work out of her for another month or two, at least. Would be better to just have her spend some time dictating her entire recollection of her culture to a Calligraphy Wyrm when she's not otherwise occupied.

There's some stuff that @Azel mentioned we could set them to work on, in terms of primitive 'logic engines' and calculators. But I think that stuff should wait until we've built up our university more with different courses.

I personally want to wait until Calligraphy Wyrms copy our vassals libraries post-Conquest. I'm definitely eager to discover what lore Winterfell has.
I've got high hopes for there being a relatively intact trove of Others-related lore somewhere in that castle, or other salient info, such as warding schemes, weaknesses, etc., which we might be able to use.

Mechanically you might lose the Dragontouched feat if you got it as a racial bonus feat, but you might keep it if you simply took it at level 1 or got it through a Sorcerer ACF.
I'm mostly asking about the fluff explanation, honestly.

I think you're right.

I don't know, DP said that he was fine in theory with dragon-blooded races (Valyrian blooded people are basically Silverbrow humans tbh) reincarnating into full-blown True Dragons, but the thread was really turned off by that whole idea in general. If all you needed was a little dragon blood, there's no way even violent purging would have kept dragons from being an infrequent but constant presence outside of Essos, rather than generally extinct in the Chromatic side of things overall. It's just too easy and kind of makes light of the accomplishment of being able to transmute your body into a dragon the hard way.

Mechanically it doesn't really hold too many mechanical benefits overall--there are way superior bodies you could steal for the mileage, and they would hold greater utility probably. An older dragon body is pretty good, but it takes awhile for the narrow band of benefits to become overly extreme in comparison.
