Now I'm confused. In this case what's the result of that research action?

Given what we've learned about the Grey Veil it would probably be worth our while to push through for the full unlocking. The ability to use that kind of divination blocker en mass just like the Efreeti or at the very least counter their ability to use it would be a boon.Fixed, thankfully the narrative does not need changing since you guys did make the 25 point cut off.
Passed the first level, not much to show for it, can press on to 60 if you want.
Are you sure Bahamut hates us? I thought Viserys didn't like him because he let Tiamat screw with him and Daenerys, for reasons that went unexplained, but I don't remember anything which stated that Bahamut hates Viserys, Daenerys or the empire.
They dislike each other for both personal and ideological reasons. Are you sure Bahamut hates us? I thought Viserys didn't like him because he let Tiamat screw with him and Daenerys, for reasons that went unexplained, but I don't remember anything which stated that Bahamut hates Viserys, Daenerys or the empire.
Here's QM statements:Are you sure Bahamut hates us? I thought Viserys didn't like him because he let Tiamat screw with him and Daenerys, for reasons that went unexplained, but I don't remember anything which stated that Bahamut hates Viserys, Daenerys or the empire.
I'm going to say this bluntly to save on the salt, Bahamut would probably be one of the hardest gods to get on board and require the most sacrifices from you guys. I say this because Viserys has a good knowledge religions and knows something of his character and tenets.
But that doesnt explicitly state "hate", no.Just one little comment on the Bahamut matter.
You guys can't stomach Lucan. Do you honestly think that Bahamut who is ten times as holy and a thousand times as sure of himself will be better?
Well, basically? This part confuses me. Aside from the random request for Metallics which usually is shot down for a wide variety of reasons (chief among them being Bahamut hates us), there aren't plans to resurrect extinct species of dragons. At best there were vague plans to modify and adapt, like making our own winter dragons.
Shadow Plane could get the attention of the Bloodstone Emperor if we're unlucky.Hmmm, plans for minor minions... Tor the Rakshasa has had a good run with breaking open Tiamat's forces...
He also has another purpose which is to having Tor the Snakeman's memories of how he found Sseth.
That would be a nice fetch quest for some other adventurer team if we're scaling back from adventurers with the main cast.
Or how about carving ourselves a nice chunk of the Shadow Plane to add to the Scholarum's grounds?
...why don't we do the mass quasit summoning plan in the Shadow Plane by the way?
@egoo covered it pretty well. Tldr yeah, we know that Bahamut doesn't like us because we were told OOC.Are you sure Bahamut hates us? I thought Viserys didn't like him because he let Tiamat screw with him and Daenerys, for reasons that went unexplained, but I don't remember anything which stated that Bahamut hates Viserys, Daenerys or the empire.
Let's go one step at a time and stick with making our own Imperial breeds for now. When we're more secure in our position we can consider this sort of thing.Well, basically?
Eventually we'll have nothing better to do with our Fleshcrafters than flipping the bird to Tiamat.
I can guarantee that, I have the experience with RAs aplenty.
I am in no way advocating to do it now, or even as long as we haven't completed the final tiers of Psionic research, but it will be there, waiting.
Basic idea being to remake the Dragon breeds with maybe some modifications, that'd mean they wouldn't fall right back under Timmie's control in a few millenia.
...Since she will get down to restoring them eventually (unless we kill her. Doubt that'll happen), at least we can get our foot in the door and make it so our variant of Chromatics are better, more widespread, andwon't listen to Timmieare better again.
Same here. I wanted to make our own Winter Dragons, Forest & Jungle Dragons, Desert Dragons, and Sea Dragons. Fill every niche the Chromatics and Metallics had with dragons loyal to the Imperium and Viserys.I'd rather make 3 more custom breeds to get a full set of Imperial Dragons then to start fleshcrafting any chromatics or metallics.
Also, if our fleshcrafter got nothing to do, they can research Quickling and fire-based templates for our undead.
To say nothing about the industrial applications I can find for fleshforging.
So far we got Mind Dragons and Myrkdreki (which are kinda Sneaky Dragons). I wouldn't so much go with ecological niches and more with functions that are common in the Imperium.Same here. ...you just described all the Dragons sans Whites.
No. I don't mean dragons that happen to be good capitalists. I mean a dragon that is, by birth and metaphysically, a superior capitalist.
Mind Dragons seem pretty good social specialists, though there's some obvious overlap with coordination overall. So far we got Mind Dragons and Myrkdreki (which are kinda Sneaky Dragons). I wouldn't so much go with ecological niches and more with functions that are common in the Imperium.

Capitalist Dragons for example.
Hmmm. Then War Dragons to aid the Legion, Guardian Dragons to defend the borders and man the walls of the Imperial Afterlife when we design it (probably occasionally join up with Griffin Knight patrols), Capitalist Dragons, etc? We can mix and match ecological niches there. Capitalist Dragons for example could be sea-based because of sea trade. So far we got Mind Dragons and Myrkdreki (which are kinda Sneaky Dragons). I wouldn't so much go with ecological niches and more with functions that are common in the Imperium.

I kind of want to actually do this now.No. I don't mean dragons that happen to be good capitalists. I mean a dragon that is, by birth and metaphysically, a superior capitalist.
Like...
All their natural attacks are treated as if they had the Union Bane enchantment.
Their breath weapon causes private debt as a side-effect.
Their scales have fine print and using them for armor opens you up to the dragon suing you from the afterlife to gain possession of your body.
Their size category can vary by up to one step up or down, depending on the current state of the stock market.
They have DR 10\Taxation or Regulation.
You know.
Capitalist Dragon
Do Castellan dragons count? So far we got Mind Dragons and Myrkdreki (which are kinda Sneaky Dragons). I wouldn't so much go with ecological niches and more with functions that are common in the Imperium.
