It grants total control of your realm. Yes. I very much want to eat that energy field.
Ideally we avoid that pitfall. Maybe get one of our gods to supervise and block the bad effects when we eat it.It's worth remembering that there is a catch, 'as the land suffers so does the king' and the reverse too, Fisher King effect.
Sneaky pile of tin."I think so, I think it welcomes my studies because I'm reminding it of its own powers. I'm not sure if it is worth studying further or if we should put it away until we have the palace vaults ready."
Would it be possible to use the Imperial Deity as an intermediary, as we intended to channel most of the infrastructure controls through it? And if possible even obviate the Fisher King link by spending more power for similar reality altering effects? It's apparent that our intended path is basically to build a bunch of infrastructure, give it the necessary abilities to manage both the Divine Realm it's associated with and all of the physical infrastructure in the network, and power it using sacrifices, to a lesser extent prayer, and maybe spell power. Energy Transformation effects that can use our Mythic Power in exchange would be baller. It's worth remembering that there is a catch, 'as the land suffers so does the king' and the reverse too, Fisher King effect.
That's why we don't want the crown as-is, but to tear out the useful bits and destroy the rest. It's worth remembering that there is a catch, 'as the land suffers so does the king' and the reverse too, Fisher King effect.
In addition, there's a good chance we can jumpstart out own Outsider-forging by:The thing is, with all the stuff we got lately, we are actually really close to have everything to make the pseudo-deity.
1. We need to finish the dreamshaping necessary to reinforce the roads imprint on the dreamscape and to conceptionally tie everything together. We can add mirrors, braziers and other things to the connection later.
2. We need the Imperial Steel as the metaphysical anchor in the real-world to anchor the deity.
3. We need a big pool to gather energy in, deep down under the Imperial Palace where we can dig the necessary metaphysical channels to gather energy. We can use the demiplane for that.
4. We need some initial juice to start everything. I was thinking about using the pilfered power from Tiamat we have still in storage, but the crown seems to be a good fit too.
That's not all that tall an order anymore. Looting metaphysical parts of the divine is rather useful to speed this up.
Pseudo-deity first, outsiders second. In addition, there's a good chance we can jumpstart out own Outsider-forging by:
1) Getting the lore-copy of the clockwork-familiar from the past month
2) Managing to reforge/restore Anu's hammer to [Craft/Creation]-alignment.
3) Visiting that broken/buried God's Forge Hadhayosh mentioned on PoF.
There's also the Axiomatic forge-thing in one of the Marid cities on PoW, too...
We're not getting too deep into that shit, however, for now.
Who stole whom, who killed who, with whom to align ourselves while keeping squid/efreeti-alliance in mind...
No time for that from people with real firepower in our realm for the foreseeable future :/
There's potential for an alternate route if we follow through with "Fire Outsider creation"-line of RAs, and grab lores for Earth/Air variants too.Pseudo-deity first, outsiders second.
You need souls to make outsiders, and since people didn't want the relevant Cacodaemon lore, we need a different capture apparatus.
Regarding divine juice, we could use Tiamat and the crown in tandem. Tiamat for the power, the crown for the specific abilities we want harness for Viserys through the Imperium Deity. The thing is, with all the stuff we got lately, we are actually really close to have everything to make the pseudo-deity.

With the Cacodaemon lore we could potentially approach the Xerfilstyx through another false identity, though it'd no doubt take a few months to establish credentials.Pseudo-deity first, outsiders second.

Never mind then, hopefully we can get our hands on that Cacodaemon lore.Elementals are quite a different thing then angels and devils.
For outsiders in the sense of divine servants we will need souls to remold and empower. If you could make true outsiders out of nothing except elemental energy, Asmodeus would have a few armies worth of fire-devils.
By the way @DragonParadox, this coming update is a good chance to show off Zathir's new Grand Temple. It aught to be finished by now.[X] Azel
@Azel could you throw in asking of any of his clerics were able to restore the rose of heaven yet?
The cacodaemon lore was for soul crystalization, which would make nearly everything we're trying to achieve with the imperial afterlife and turning citizens into Imperial Outsiders upon death easier. We will get souls via our deity, we don't need tha Cacodarmon lore, right?
Acquisition isn't easy, which is why the lore would have been so useful. The cacodaemon lore was for soul crystalization, which would make nearly everything we're trying to achieve with the imperial afterlife and turning citizens into Imperial Outsiders upon death easier.
Soul acquisition is easy enough, but figuring out what to do with it is harder.
