Combat Rhythm is very useful for Diamond Nightmare Blade combos.I haven't gotten around to making individual sheets for most of those who ended up overflowing onto the second page when DP had to make room because of the size limits per post.
You're missing a feat there. Richard gets two this level up.
What if we retrained one of his current feats to make room for all three?
Richard's Gambit could be a replacement for Combat Rhythm, since they lend themselves to very different approaches to combat.
Not this levelup. The bonus feat is his benefit for now.Combat Rhythm is very useful for Diamond Nightmare Blade combos.
Get rid of Pierce Magical Protection for it, and I'm sold on your vote.
Also, does he not gain a new Maneuver?
Nevermind, that wasn't actually the important level. She's still scheduled for another Mysthic Theurge level. Next level is the one where she should pick Spellsword for the ASF reduction when in armor.
@Crake, I really want Richard's Gambit, but the Cut from the Air and Smash from the Air feat combo is really powerful and fits Richard so well.
@Goldfish @Duesal Revised vote.[X] Moving right along...
-[X] Viserys sacrifices a 9th level spell slots to Summon a Nalfeshnee as a Standard Action, then casts Time Stop as a Swift Action. While Time Stopped, he uses an 8th level slot to Summon a Hezrou and another 8th level slot to Summon 1d3 Vrocks. He will also cast Freezing Glance. He Summons all of the Demons as near to enemy Devils as possible.
--[X] Once Time Stop ends, Viserys will target one of the Judgement Devils with Freezing Glance as a Free Action, direct his Summoned Demons to attack where he judges they will be most useful, then moves to join Richard and the Seeker in melee.
-[X] Dany casts a Reached Chained Sacramental Seal spell, targeting as many Devils as possible, but placing priority on the Judgement Devils.
-[X] Teana places a Brilliant Barrier between herself and the Erinyes targeting her, then casts Shadow Healing on herself. If she is healed by Benerro before she can heal herself, she instead targets a surviving enemy with Amber Sarcophagus.
-[X] Garin targets the Judgement Devils and remaining Erinyes with another Quickened Darkbolt spell, then does the same with a Maximized Darkbolt spell, either hitting those which he missed, who resisted the first salvo, or who he simply could not target, then using any left over bolts for other Devils.
-[X] Benerro moves to cast a Heal spell on Teana.
-[X] Richard and the Seeker proceed to murder any enemies in their paths.
-[X] Mereth focuses on bringing down her fellow Erinyes, using all five of her ranged attacks, then activating her Belt of Battle to make five more attacks if any remain living. She prioritizes those which are most heavily injured or failed to succumb to Viserys, Dany, and Garin's attempts to Stun, Petrify, bind, or Daze them.
[X] Richard's Level Up
-[X] Class: +1 Paragon Knight
-[X] Feats: Pierce Magical Protection >>> Richard's Gambit, Cut from the Air, Smash from the Air
-[X] Maneuvers: Greater Insightful Strike >>> Diamond Nightmare Blade
-[X] Skills (5 points): +1 Concentration, +4 Spellcraft

He can't learn Diamond Nightmare Blade until@Goldfish I remembered my original plan. Add retraining Greater Insightful Strike for Diamond Nightmare Blade, as he can now learn 8th Level Disciplines.
At 20th level he will exchange Scything Blade for Adamantine Hurricane and will also learn Time Stands Still.
The next level puts him at 15th Initiator Level and it's an even one, so he can Goldie. He can't learn Diamond Nightmare Blade until next level up. We'll have to retrain it then.

Occult Slayer is only a 5 level progression PRC. I think when Richard's sheet was first updated when he became a Martial Initiator, DP must have slipped him an extra couple Initiator levels, because he should only be going to 13th Initiator level with this coming level up. It's been like that for too long to take it back now, though, otherwise stuff he's had for a long while now wouldn't have been possible.

For those interested, his Martial Adept class bases advancement off Warblade, Occult Slayer counts fully, and everything else for half. 7 + 8 = 15.
@Goldfish We've been counting half of all other levels which do not count fully as divided by half. The five class levels are fractional, so he gets 2 added to his count.Occult Slayer is only a 5 level progression PRC. So, 15th Initiator level it is.
Ah, I see. Tome of Battle stuff has always been a weak point for me.@Goldfish We've been counting half of all other levels which do not count fully as divided by half. The five class levels are fractional, so he gets 2 added to his count.
If Richard procs Combat Rhythm into Diamond Nightmare Blade, and he crits, he has the potential to do enough damage killAh, I see. Tome of Battle stuff has always been a weak point for me.
Plan updated, now with more Maximum Richard! Diamond Nightmare Blade is a beast of a maneuver, and it sounds so much better than Greater Insightful Strike. Continues to stack well with his high Concentration skill, too.
He could use Fleet Charge to cross a huge distance and make an attack at full bonus, then make a Full Attack with five iterative attacks, use Amazing Initiative to gain a Standard Action in order to use Diamond Nightmare Blade, then use his Belt of Battle to make another Full Attack with five more. All of this doesn't have to be against a single enemy, either, since his new Fleet Warrior Mythic ability will let him move 100+ feet between full attacks if he wants to.If Richard procs Combat Rhythm into Diamond Nightmare Blade, and he crits, he has the potential to do enough damage killJohn F. Kennedy. Or a Demonlord or something. I think most Demonlords know better than to get into melee with Richard, though.
And if anyone hits him while utilizing Richard's Gambit, he can make up to Five AoOs for every attack at him (or anyone he's next to) for yet more punishment.
Considering that a successful Diamond Nightmare Blade attack is like getting hit four times, that basically amounts to Richard being able to make what amounts of 15 attacks in a single round.
And he can use Sudden Block if anyone attacks him during this bit of ultraviolence to make yet another attack at full bonus...
They're from different sub-genres.Anime was supposed to be Waymar's schtick, god dammit >_<
Richard is basically the edgier "nothing personnel, kid" OwTheEdge-sort of anime protag now.
Yeah, Waymar is more like, I dunno, Battle Shounen.
