There's someone else who would be all over that: Qyburn.

He's rather Not FondTM of censorship and self-serving distortions in academia.
Speaking of which, I would like to spend some actions building a few more Higher Learning courses into our local academia.

Like: The Imperial Institute of Natural Philosophy (Science)

Already included in the University of Sorcerer's Deep: Law, Economics

To be added: Logic, Theology, Mathematics, Astronomy, Astrology (portent interpretation is real here), Grammar, Rhetorics.

And courses for the Imperial Academy of the Fine Arts should probably already include courses for things like sculpting, painting and music.

That's at least eight good actions worth... I think it is realistic enough to represent the effort of actually hunting down all of the people capable of teaching those courses (and expanding the physical campuses + hiring staff to maintain it).

Just caught up with the story posts again. This whole arc is metal as hell, I kind of regret missing parts of it.

Would Pyre Salt work as a special munition type for stuff like this? We've talked about using it for various things before, but since the page doesn't list a maximum size of fire it can effect I'm not sure how it'd apply to this. We need to cap it somewhere so you can't double the damage of a city consuming fire storm for 70 IM, even if it only lasts a single round. A high enough limit would make burning everything to the ground and making it stick a lot easier.

It's not something we should add to every incendiary munition, but for special loads, adding some Pyre Salt would be a nice way to say FU to our enemies.

Not much in the realm of fantasy spider related that isn't either D&D-adjacent, or NSFW/L.

We could always solve the naming issue by working on the other half of the problem and designing four legged spiders using the flesh forge. Then we'll have a ready made counter point for anyone being pedantic about their naming scheme.:V

With 10 more sets of Titan's Tools to use, this shouldn't take more than a couple months when added to our other 14 sets.

Bookmarked for later.

That is a lot of infrastructure projects. If nothing else, Viserys will be remembered for basically making architecture, urban planning and public works basically synonymous with his name/the Imperium.

Let's see, for high ways next month that takes up 6 more Titan Tools actions, leaving 18 left.

Changed priorities.

- Create a channel in the Northern Disputed Lands, connecting the Myr river system with the Southern Disputed Lands river system. (2 TTM)

We can do the bolded ones next month and finish up the other ones the month after (plus retain one set of tools for work on the Superfortress).

@Azel Oh, by the way, we can color Omber in Imperial red. Though you might just wanna wait until the resolution of the Sarnor arc, since that was when Saeth was going to make a decision and finally join us as well.

Yeah, let's see how much territory we will seize when this is done.

Should also look into colonizing Volaena and building some highways there.

On that note, Norvos is likely a bit nervous right now. We've built a ton of roads that looks suspiciously like invasion routes this month. Some of them pretty much on the border.

By the way, what's the status of Elyria?

We were going to visit it this month, probably. Right after Sarnor, I guess.

@Azel @Goldfish You know? After all this bullshit with Sarnor, Slaver's Bay, Qohor, Westeros and guess Norvos for good measure, is finally done with, and while preparations for our Summer Summit (which I have a HUGE wall of text write-up for) is underway/reconstruction/martial law enforcement/backgrounded diplomacy, etc.

We should go on a tour of the Summer Isles, visit each prince, and exchange gifts and generally be a giant fucking tourist. Low-key no huge diplomatic objectives, just touring around possibly the lone polity who, while perhaps not having their shit altogether in a bag, is still relatively stable without our direct influence. At least at the moment. I know there was at least one Prince hoping to use Imperial-sourced steel to try conquering the whole thing, good thing we are using almost all of our local production to supply our military industrial complex. I'm pretty sure we'd be hit with major trade sanctions in the other Summer Isle principalities if a coalition came together after realizing how that could be a really bad thing.

Just us, and the Companions we can spare, touring around the place and making some light cultural exchanges, maybe killing a few local monsters for the amusement of ourselves and the heartfelt thanks of the locals. You gotta bet there's at least a handful of CR 20 murder-beasts hibernating in the area, just one errant stick-poking away from rampaging across the place and wiping entire islands out.

One man's apocalypse is another man's new pair of boots.

Where we pow-wow with the nobles of Westeros, brief them about Winter, get oaths of fealty from all the little podunk Houses we missed, talk about all of our reforms (and quell the dissent about aforementioned reforms) and I guess generally gloat. Gloat really hard.

Edit: Mixed up two words which sound closely alike. Because English is a beautiful language of precision.

Sounds fun! They've got some pretty chill gods, right? Maybe we could take the opportunity to extend them an invite to the Imperial Pantheon.

Ah, so you mean after the Invasion.

It will certainly help to get people more agreeable when they are all cited to come to SD and stay in the fuck-huge Imperial Palace for the duration.
