Our allies aren't that dumb. If the Ice Lady and her husband are actively helping us, they wont hurt them while this is happening. Its basic military behaviour, if someone is helping you, dont shoot the person helping you.

And you keep on not addressing actual arguments while being on your high horse. You havent proven anything. And still are just ignoring my actual arguments and instead choose to go On about how "Oh no, if only the people who disagreed were intelligent rather than dumb"

Assumptions of cultural norms are as inaccurate with regards to Imperial prejudices as it is with anything else here.

I've proven that the White Sky arent really invested in this fight nor fearful.of the Imperials. I've proved that the command structure is riddled with the types of people just as likely to write off the Ice woman as anything else because its convenient

I've pointed out that the setting is filled with alien cultures to which your assumptions of norms dont necessarily apply

I've reminded the thread that genocide is perfectly acceptable standard operating procedure for the Sect.

Its farcical say I havent proven anything when all you've done is insist on wishful thinking as if it were gospel truth. You dont have any way of proving your assertions, so what is there to.engage? You have no substance to back up your claims.

Asking her to help is asking her to stick around. We don't want her to stick around as there really isn't a way for the incoming forces to know they should not kill the weird barbs on sight. Also, them leaving cuts down on the buffs the cloud tribes are getting, which helps us as well. Plus while her fraction may not want to help the barbs too much, they probably don't want to sit there and watch as barbs are sysmatically killed or taken prisoner. Which is our goal. Kill everyone that isn't useful, keep a few who are (for questioning and killing later), and keep the plot rock. And you know the cloud barbs tell, probably true, stories of how brutal and murderous the empire is with the ones it manages to capature. I don't want to put everyone in that position. So yeah, asking her to leave and trying to talk later is best for everyone.

Though if she wants to leave the fancy ice wall up to defend us and the rock that would be ok with me.

I take that kind of accusation very seriously, especially from people who gleefully accuse others of actions which they themselves are guilty of

You're free to whatever your opinion may be, but if you're going to engage me in a debate the least you can do is act in good faith rather than like a kid who is just throwing random.words out there without knowing what they mean

Wasnt it you who randomly decided that people were arguing for Ling qi to flee the battlefield and railed against perceived desertion?

Assuming it's like every other argument you've trotted out, that kind of mischaracterization is called a "strawman".

You've been condescending to me for the last few pages, while often ignoring my actual arguments. Like you didnt really adress my point that the sect does in fact pay attention to tribes being hostile to them or not. You ignored my point on human pyschology and so on. You ignored my point that its unlikely they have very little knowledge about imperials given they are at a summit about potentially allying against the imperials.

Meanwhile you talk down to me. Insult my intelligence and so on. I am short with you because you were being a dick to me. I was making fun of it because quite frankly I find it a bit ridiculous.

Notably this doesn't specify what kind of help. It's not necessarily "coming out swinging at other barbs". I'd guess it'd end up being "whatever help she's comfortable offering" which is exactly where we want to be here.

And helping will definitively establish her as a non-hostile for reinforcements coming later, not running into the issues with perimeter and such.

Hm. Looking through the update there is a relatively straightforward explanation for the Argent Sect to be willing to accept ice lady as a legit envoy or rather go along with CRX.
And there was a charge in the air, something dangerous in the storm above, something that made her instincts scream danger despite the feeling of their reinforcements coming over the rim, and the slightly more distant rise of Diao Gen's qi in the south.

Because if either ice lady directly counters or her partner provides information that results in the assault force managing to neutralize the ritual... there are 20+ green realm inner sect members alongside a Cyan who can serve as character witnesses Because I wouldn't be the least bit suprised if that thing 1 shots 10+ members of the assault force and tips the battle against our cyan.

Besides the thought of 20+ utterly exhausted green realm cultuvators just staring at the fool who says they should take her into custody amuses me.

Okay so another point in favor of us asking her to help is quite simple, narratively this is the simplest way to see more of the White Sky Confederation. I want to see more of these unique Cultivators and maybe find out how they work. Only thing we know is this one is cold, reminds us of Zeqing, and wears different clothes from her husband. Plus it gives us an interesting scene to look forward to right after the fight.

The other options promises to talk, but logistically how, its thin at best, its dangerous to stay close, we dont have time to properly arrange a etting spot, the sect may interefere etc etc and we have no idea when any meeting will occur. It would make more sense for a straight flee, but thats not currently on the table.
 
We don't understand her language properly so we don't KNOW she offered aid. We're guessing, and we're basically doing a "IF aid offered THEN accept ELSE ask for it" that I think she'll be able to parse properly. No way she's not familiar with the idea of people having different languages -_-

Maybe go and rest? I skipped several posts you made because of being busy and then tried to continue reading from the last several and there is literally nothing there but insults and insisting the other person is not talking in good faith, like I'm at this point not sure what point you're even arguing about. If you're too tired to restate your arguments / refrain from personal attacks, maybe take a break? This is getting seriously unpleasant to read.
