[X] Go up instead of down and then loop around the edge of the cloud , that should in theory get them back to the battle faster so long as the temporal anomaly is consistent

That'd be amazing for our PR., far better than anything we could do ourselves. I'm hoping he tries.
I could be wrong but it seems to me that Tywin tends to go with short term plans that cause more problems then solutions and outright ignores any damage done to those he doesn't consider important (anyone who is not a member of the nobility of westeros).

A god is involved, what would give you the impression any of this is the work of mortal artifice?

Edit: Also, we already know limited time dilation is possible. It's also just notoriously unstable. I'm practically expecting the Lannisters to have created a temporal anomaly out of sheer ignorance and desperation to create an advantage using it.
Ergo why the rhetorical undertones.

And why I want is specifically the instability and the wide-area effect.
Little else can fuck with high-precision magic, like say powerful summoning rituals, like temporal stuff flying left right and backwards.

Basically, I want our own "Nope!"-button to slam if someone tries pulling Mantarys 2.0 "Bloodstone Bungalow" with no need to actually approach whoever/whatever is doing the stuff.

Precisely. And those problems caused by his plans will visibly be the fault of the Lannisters, which will anger most of Westeros, which we can then publicly get credit for cleaning up. You can't get better PR than your enemy shooting themselves in the foot.

Fey Logic...

Moonsong: "Fuck it, we're going plaid!"

1st Officer: " Captain?"

Moonsong: "You heard me! Batten down the hatches, fire up the Wheel, and take us directly into the cloud along the p-axis. Then, on my mark, shift us to the Cerulean Sea. With any luck, we'll be able to slingshot around edge of the 4th dimension and arrive at the battle before we left."

1st Officer: "...aye, aye, Captain. Preparing to go...plaid."

Comm Officer: " ...oh gods, watch over your wayward children in their time of need."

Moonsong: "Shift us...now!" Turning to face the comm station, she comments with a smirk, "There are no gods where we're going!"

I think y'all are strawmanning and Lucan'ing the shit out of Tywin.

We had a total of 3 interludes involving Lana/Gerion.
And we have never looked into Lannister plans IC nor OOC.
We.
Know.
Jack.
Shit.

About their plans.

Dont underestimate whatever shit they are about to pull on us.
They had more than enough time to prepare dozens of plans they'd easily launch all at once.

Don't misinterpret me. I am hoping Tywin fucks up in a way that benefits us. I will be legitimately enraged if he's assassinated before we can get to him.

[X] Crake

Because I read that as "paid state", and I find the idea of Moonsong being corporate shill shaking down every coin from the state's enemies, quite hilarious.

He'll try. I think you underestimate the scale of magic necessary to have even a flea's chance of meaningfully effecting an entire continent. Maybe he could cause catastrophic damage to a single Kingdom.

Edit: Of course if he cuts a deal with Asmodeus, all bets are basically off. Nothing says world-ending threat like "surprise infernal invasion!"
Not that Hard to cause continental damage, just need some magical way of digging, then you dig down until you hit the planets burning core, and if your tunnel was wide enough, you have a super volcano.

Even fit with the Lannisters being miners.

Oh I know he's a threat I never claimed otherwise, It's just that my impression of the guy is that his plans tend to focus more on short term goals and courting the nobility even when it's detrimental to his long term goals, which doesn't mean he can't cause an obscene level of damage as a final fuck you just to spite us in the end, only that his worst enemy tends to be himself.

I have a theory about the state of that Sarnori Smith-god.
Just a theory though.

We know he's dead. Really dead, from loosing all of his temples and most of his followers to the Dothraki.
He's not Yss who has dominion of life and death and can restore himself or linger in near-death for millenia.
He's not Tiamat who is a major Power in her own right even without the whole divine nonsense.
Just a human god who is as dead as a god can be without being totally forgotten.

But!

Right now he gets the prayer- and faith-income from millions of undead Sarnori. Or at least tens of thousands if only the intelligent ones count.
He can't fully use it, because he's too dead to just grow from it and has the wrong domains to restore himself. No storage-capacity.

But it's still like a sugar-rush, usable energy without longterm-benefit.
That's how he can basically use a miracle or divine smiting in every combat-round, he directly converts the faith that he can't use otherwise into divine action.

If this theory were true it would be good for us on the one hand, because it means he's personally not nearly as strong as a god with his faith-income should be.
And it would be bad, because it means until we have either laid to rest most of Sarnor, or until we have destroyed his direct connections to this plane (likely including the statue-body from the Omake) or maybe his divine corpse wherever that may be, he will continue being a nuisance with a high frequency of divine interventions.

What if, and listen to me here, we sacrifice that living effigy to Yss then?

We could gut a second Avatar from a god! The reward will be mythical if nothing else.
