randiose language aside you can see why none of the courts to this point decided to side with him. His uncle Careous had not broken any law and simply disposed of his properties as he saw fit, and indeed had probably taken the path of many other high nobles approaching the twilight of their lives.

On the other side of the coin, reading into the case you have to agree this case was particularly egregious, effectively gutting the already ailing family finances to live a life of ease in Sorcerer's Deep.
It's a dick move on the uncle's part, but it's also his money to spend as he sees fit.

[X] Uphold the decisions of the Courts. Your hands are quite tied.

Not illegal since it legally was his wealth. Perhaps from now on, Patriarchs should write in clauses to their will stipulating that a total dissolution would require the payout be divided equally to the family. Either way, this case would highlight the need for many of our citizens and merchant families to retake a look at their wills.

The only diplomatic option that will light a fire underneath our merchant families. It should make the younger generation far more diligent and put some more money circulating in the economy.

To bad, but still, the Volantine is still a "sorcerer of some power", so I'm optimistic he'll bounce back from this.
Power can be translated to money if he's not completly stupid.

Hopefully his spell list wasn't selected completely with the life of an idle rich noble in mind. If not, and he's not a completely lazy waste of space, there are so many opportunities for him to make a good living in the Imperium that failure to do so is a pretty good indicator that he's useless.

He can always retrain spells.

I have a bit of bad news guys. I know this isn't the most interesting vote, but as headache just came on again and I think I'll just have to sleep it off.

Suggestions on what actions to do next come morning are welcome

Maybe a Scholarium interlude in the morning? A student POV would be cool.

We could have some interludes for the Lannisters and the Westerlands. It has been some time since we have gotten anything out of there.

Of course not all need end this way as Wyla pointed out, for just as she is now among your vassals and Liomond Lashare your representative heading towards Qohor, so too might others choose to join you in doing more than stirring the ashes of dead realms, in life... or in death. The Lady of Naath works towards a means to wrest sanity from death's clutches, a secret you suspect has been found and lost many a time in the world's history for those inclined to seek such answers would not be the sort to share them readily. At the same time Qyburn and Elaheh Marita seek to brew anew the deadly poisons of the Faceless Men meant for those already dead.
Still think we should research a Heart Tree for this, it just need the false life and soul capture spell, the false life spell is cast on the undead, the undead sacrifice itself before the Heart Tree, and the soul is captured by trap the soul, then the soul gem is taken to the Flesh forge, where it's implanted in an soulless body.
