It's because she is pushing herself to become more powerful so that she won't be seen as an inferior when compared to Richard. Once she's the ranged version of what Richard is in melee, then she will take her man.

This was asked before. Apparently it's possible for an Erinyes to be male, IIRC, it's just so rare that we're never going to see it.

I'm sure that Erinyes aren't the sum total of all fallen angels. Most probably just turn into normal fiends. Remember we saw that one angel in heaven morphing into a Daemon?
