Being honest, that entire post is a mess to look at. But well, not being prepared to insert money where my mouth is and organize my own list (probably on a Spreadsheet in Google Docs so that it automatically links to the appropriate sheets or external links) I'll leave you to it.
Ey, I'm the first to admit it looks like shite.
But at least everything topic-relevant is in one place.

Iron from Steel Revealed

Twenty Eight Day of the First Month 294 AC

In the end you decide to stop just shy of martial law, but dispatch all the resources the commissar asked for and more besides. A Herald and two dragons, one of the mind, the other shadow. That should be enough to find trouble and in most cases end it, too. All of them would no doubt thank you for the chance to stretch their wings. "The herald might not, given that it shall have to be responsibile for the others," Varys whispers in your thoughts. "A good thing it has a mind of steel."

Lost 11,000 IM
***

When the foremost report from Pentos comes with the seal of the legion you expect the worst, chaos in the streets, more slavery in the hidden places of the city, or perhaps more otherworldly troubles. Yet as you read the report, the worries fade and you can feel a surprised smile beginning to take shape at the corner of your mouth.

Not only is there no crises in the Pentoshi hinterlands, but there is actually much to be thankful for. The establishment of the royal post continues there as elsewhere in the realm. Inquisitors from Pentos have set up a hidden base in Harenhall, taking advantage of the keep's central position to greatly increase the effectiveness of the Lads as both protectors of the smallfolk and a thorn in the side of royal and Lannister interests, but all that taken together is less surprising than what was in that first Legion report.

While searching out places for guard posts in the Western Flatlands, one sergeant who had earned his bread as a prospector in the Painted Mountains before taking on the black armor of the legion, found what he thought was a seam of iron on the slopes of an old weather-worn hill. In his own words 'it almost looked too poor to trouble an officer over'. As chance would have it, however, the officer he did eventually report the find to was an enchanter, a rare breed of mage to take up the crimson cloak of the legion and rarer still the sprite familiar he had bound by ritual back in Sorcerer's Deep. The little fey grew ill at the mere sight of the chunk of ore and recognized it at once for the bane it was to all his kin, Cold Iron as the Shaitan call it when they find it in the lightless stone depths, for it must be worked without fire to keep its virtues. The Rhoynar Called it True Iron and made of it weapons as fanciful as they were deadly. You still recall the raven-headed mace you found in Braavos.

Whatever the name and tale behind it, you can put the ore to good use against fey foes and demons both. The ore was even found on royal land, so you do not have to contend with the local magisters for access to it. That still raises the question of how to exploit it since there are hardly any people within a day's ride of the place.

Establish Messenger Service in Pentos (8/21)
Establish Inquisition Base in Harrenhal (22/12) -> Complete -> Critical Success -> Increased Effectiveness of the Lads
Establish Messenger Service in Andal Coast (8/5) -> Complete
Establish Messenger Service in Velvet Hills (5/21)
Establish Guard Posts in Western Flatlands (12/29) -> Critical Success -> Small Cold Iron Mine
Establish Messenger Service in Nontelos (7/17)

How do you exploit the Cold Iron Mine?

[] Set it up under direct royal patronage (Cost 12,000 IM Progress 12 Province action)

[] Found a new company concerned with exploiting arcane mineral wealth next month

[] Fold it into and existing company

OOC: Not the most exciting vote, but that's just how the rolls went, no fires to put out this time. Not yet edited.
Here's an edited version of the chapter, @DragonParadox.

I'm not sure what you wanted the spoiler in the chapter to be called, but I doubt it was supposed to be 'Plane of Fire Raid Results'. :p

EDIT: Never mind, I see that you Faceless'd me like a champ. :ninja:

Finding Cold Iron in our realm is a nice boon for us. The Plane of Earth has so far been the only other source of the stuff, at least in any decent quantity, and it's fairly expensive there. We should exploit the hell out of this find, maybe even assign a team with a set of Titan's Tools to it in a month or two. Every scrap of the stuff should be reserved for military use, so I don't see any point in setting up a company to extract and manage it.

Alright, here's what I have.

2nd month Companion/Minion Interrupt proposal:
[] Hells and Spears - The corruption of the Fiends has sipped deep into the lands of Slavers' Bay - and you are left with no choice but to cull it... even if that means working with less than savory elements.
(Infiltration, sabotage, assassination, direct combat whenever necessary)
(Goal: eliminating Fiendish presence/slowing down whatever their plans are/eliminating the following of the Lady of Spears)
---- Tyene, Vee, Melisande, Malarys, Aradia the Huntress, Azema, Chun Ting Lo (Monk 9), Ser Criston Storm (Human Paragon 3/Fighter 5/Occult Slayer 1), Ceria "Storm" (Favored Soul 8/Sacred Exorcist 1), Ser Denys Trainer (Rogue 1/Alchemist 8), Morwyn and Tuin - the Drow assassins, 3x Mind Dragons, 5x Guardian Nagas (CR 10), 1x Myrkdreki (CR 15), 3x Umbral spies, 1x Umbral Stalker, 1x Orphne Fey Lord, 1x Asura Upasunda (CR 9), 4x Asura Vayphaks (CR 5),

[] Into the Black Goat's Heart - the going-ons of Qohor have been a mystery for far too long. With the potential present by the local Fleshforge, and the ominous tidings seen over the last months, you might be left with no choice but to act- But first, you shall see in truth what the city hides these days.
(Infiltration, reconnaissance, sabotage if necessary)
(Goal: Establish whether we should focus on attacking the city in the 3rd month to contain it, or if a single strike at the Fleshforge and critical locations will be enough)
---- Xor, Nuri, Garin, Kira Windgraced, 2x Umbral spies, 1x Umbral Stalker, 1x Mind Dragon,

[] Against the Stars: The efforts of your people have not been unnoticed by the Court of Stars. Even as your efforts continue, they are sure to retaliate - and so you shall leave a force capable of keeping the task secured.
(bodyguarding, getaway, direct combat if necessary)
(Goal: Defend the Research Team set on breaking the Fey pact)
---- Waymar, Sandor Clegane, 3x Mind Dragons, 4x Guardian Nagas, 3x Erynies, Soft Strider, Glyra & her troupe, 1x Orphne Fey Lord, Vrath the Serpentfolk Hexblade (Hexblade 7?)

[] Heart of Waters, Darker Tides: With the ever-growing knowledge of the Illithid activities, so grows the worry. You may not be able to handle war with the group present on Plane of Balance alone... Thankfully, you don't have to be. The Marid have proven to be at least somewhat amiable to giving help... if convinced to.
(Diplomacy, looking for more allies, establishing deeper trade connections with the Marid -- Possibly Planar Terminus in the City of Glass?)
(Goal: See above)
---- Hermetia, Shara the Inquisitor, Mia the Inquisitor, Anya the Inquisitor, Valaena Velaryon, 1x Mind Dragon, 1x Umbral Spy, 1x Fallen Shield Archon, 3x Fallen Hound Archon (3 levels in martial class), 2x Fallen Spyglass Archon (4 levels in Rogue)

[] The Swamps Dried: Clear out the swamps of Braavos of remaining malicious entities, and whatever remains of the Bright One's court, establishing a stronger presence of trade companies and accelerating the rate of the gathering of rare resources.
(Opposition: ??; Rewards: ??)
---- Thoros of Myr (Paladin 10), Mercy of the Soul, Diana the Sea Sprite, Alyssa Crowl (Ranger 13), Danar Crowl (Bard 6/Lyric Thaumaturge 7), Mors 'Crowfood' Umber (Fighter 2/Barbarian 6), 1 Harbinger (CR 15), 5x Guardian Nagas
---- (if necessary) Nirah - Champion of Yss - the Voice of the Timeless One (CR 20),

[] Raiding on the Plane of Fire:
---- Amrelath, Siduri of Dis, Yurten, 1x Yssian Naga
---- 1x Gelugon / Ice Devil, 2x Steel Devil, 3x Lead Devil, 6x Salikotal
---- 1x Moonchaser-class ship, 10x Type-A Wyverns, 6x Type B Wyverns, 2x Manticore Fighter-Bombers
(NOTE: Only after the "The End of Sarnor" action is finished)

[] Infiltration into the City of Brass:
---- Maelor (continued), 1 Mind Dragon (continued), Bronn (continued), Sarell (continued).

[] Supporting dismantling Abraxxas' cult in Lorath:
---- 1x Mind Dragon (CR 15), 1x Myrkdreki (CR 15), 1 Herald (CR 10)

[] Court Duty:
---- Rhaella, the Seeker (CR 15),
Free Action:
[] The End of Sarnor: The actions of the Undead roused by the now-gone Golden Company leave you no choice but to eliminate all of them as swiftly as possible. No quarter will be given, and those guiding the mindless hordes will burn the first.
---- (Constructs and Vehicles) The Moonchaser, 2 Moonchaser-class ships, 27 Type-A Wyverns, 12 Type-B Wyverns, 5x Manticore Fighter-Bombers, 18x Heralds, 1x Adamantine Golem (CR 19 + 1 level Monk), 1x Harbinger (CR 17), 6x Umbral Spies, 2x Umbral Stalkers, 68x Elemental Wyrmlings (Acid [x8], Cold [x8], Electrcity [x8], Fire [x62].

----
(Assorted) 10x Guardian Nagas, Nirah - Champion of Yss - the Voice of the Timeless One (CR 20),

2nd Month Research Action proposal:
[] Breaking the Fey-Pact: The pact sealed by the Court of Stars shall be broken, at whatever cost. But for all that the steps have been taken in the past month - they aren't close to containing the situation yet.
(Progress: ??, Cost: ??)
---- Dany (4d6 Progress//decent firepower), Alysande Redsail (2d6 Progress//decent knowledge of Fey), Aenie Caleris (4d6//no Fey experience, but we need researchers on this), Tolos Scholarum Branch (+2d6)

[] Fey Lore: Even though they detest the divine, the Fey are closer to the gods in nature than any mortal ever could and in their endless years, they must have acquired much lore on the matter beside. Seek out the Orphne, the Goblin Market and other Fey gathering grounds in your realm and friendly lands to see what can be bargained for. (Progress: 10, Cost: ???)
---- Rina (4d6 Progress), Tyrosh Scholarum Branch (+2d6)

[] The Crown of Flowers: Without a doubt, this is one of the most potent magical artifacts you ever witnessed. From it much can be learned, even if it is never put on by anyone.
-[] Attempt to find the connection it holds to the Court of Stars – and further out knowledge of Artifacts along the way. (Progress: 18)
---- Lya (1st body) (4d6 Progress), Naria the Loreseeker (4d6 Progress),

[] In Hatred Ancient, a Soul Restored: The former Priestess of Spider-Goddess Lollth, cursed into form of a staff for centuries, has not forgotten the slight of her former Mistress. Her soul may have been damaged too much to simply will her into a new body... But with time and effort, she too can be mended back together. (Progress: 15, Cost: )
---- Lya (2nd body) (4d6 Progress), Stepstones Scholarum Branch (+2d6 Progress)

[] Stabilization of Sentient Undead:
While the process to craft lesser undead has been greatly refined, those who still possess sentience are a different matter. Their state makes the process meant to stabilize a soulless husk impossible to apply, but further research might be able to find an alternative. (Progress 20/30, Cost 100,000 IM, needs at least one sentient undead as a test subject)
---- Wyla Drakelis (4d6 Progress), Naath Scholarum Branch (+2d6)

[] The Undeath's End: The secret of creation of the ancient and extremely potent anti-Undead poison you received from Faceless Men is lost to eons... Yet one of the greatest poison-makers the world knows is in your employ, and few other races have as much intimate knowledge of poisons as the Snake-kin, and the Drow, both of whom you have access to. Recreate the ancient mixture (Progress: 0/50, Cost: ??)
---- Elaheh Marita (4d6 Progress), Quburn (4d6 Progress),

[] Works of Flesh: With the aid of the Flesh-Forge beneath Lys you can craft or improve all manner of beings to better serve your needs and those of your realm:
-[] Hero-Killer creature (Tatzlwyrm Hero-Killers) (Progress: 7 Cost 13,000 IM)
---- Lady Saenena (4d6 Progress)

[] Tireless Steel, by Sorcery Moved: The art of golem-making is ancient indeed... but one has to wonder if it is possible to wring an armor in the same qualities, to create personal defense truly unsurpassable. (Requires the "Layering the Defenses"-Research Action)
-[] Develop the basic chassis of the Imperial Powered Armor systems - and create the Warden Pattern armor. (Progress: 8/26, Cost: 140.000 IM)
---- Valeria the Wondersmith (4d6 Progress),

[] The Stone of Memories, The Stone of Visions: The mysterious Serpentstone Projector you recovered from the deeper parts of Riz'Neth's city may not look like much... But you have learned quite well how much but a little show before the audience as large as cities could mean for a ruler.
-[] Research the Serpentstone Projectors, emphasizing the function of recording visual and auditory signals - something that may well be priceless if a way is found to make more of such "recorders" cheaply, and also searching for a way to integrate them with the MirrorVision network - allowing to both (hopefully) make MirrorVision sets cheaper and easier to make, and to store transmissions shown - perhaps allowing for plays and speeches to be replayed in the future? (Progress: 40/45, Cost: 50.000 IM)
---- Riz'Neth (4d6 Progress)

[] The Mind's Games: The psychological effects of repeated and sustained enchantment on the mental state and brain of the average person (Progress: ??, Cost: ??).
---- Velen (4d6 Progress), Mantarys Scholarum Branch (+2d6 Progress),

[] A Baleful Mirage: You have recently been forwarded a set of spell-scripts and samples by which the Efreeti have been made use of to manipulate the 'Grey Veil'.
-[] While this may be a technological dead end, studying it will prevent its usage from being as effective in the hands of your enemy and may even be of some use to your allies (Progress: ??, Cost: ??).
---- Beryl the Strategist (4d6 Progress), Anu of Sallosh (4d6 Progress), Volantis Scholarum Branch (+2d6 Progress)

Current Problems:
a) I don't know where to put Viserys, Sir Richard and Mereth.
I'm not particularly interested in seeing the entirety of Slavers' Bay on-screen for an entire month, but I'm even less inclined to try and get into Qohor - we've consistently had sucky time doing subterfuge of the sort throughout the quest.

b) I'm feeling nightly paranoid about "the End of Sarnor" simply because we'll be pulling lots of forces from everywhere.
After the last month's Forge-Order we have some reasonable amount of meatshields spread throughout the Empire, but we're in a great place to be attacked, like usual. 3rd time's the charm? :V
Seriously though, the force is made for as-quick-as-possible elimination of the Undead leaders, with us leaving the remaining mindless hordes largely on their own until we have more time.
Maybe assigning some crafts to bombing them.

c) Maelor continues to be in a shitty spot, but the only people I can see being helpful (Mel, Garin, Tyene, Viserys) are consistently needed elsewhere.
Although having a go at City of Brass as Viserys doesn't sound too bad, we can bring up the old contacts and try to establish a better network...
So, no feedback?

[X] Set it up under direct royal patronage (Cost 12,000 IM Progress 12 Province action)
I'd like for Viserys to get involved in the City of Brass, or have him start plotting the invasion. Do we even have more lords to diplomance in Westeros?
As I've stated in the past, we have to push this back somehow. We are directly threatened in various ways, too much to pull our attention away to the City of Brass where we have focused little attention.

I am greatly averse to the butchery on the pacing getting hyper-involved in direct PoV it would do, when we have so much other stuff to square away or at least get to the point where we can delegate it entirely.

Then we should focus on one thing and finish it. We need to either burn all of slavers bay and keep it under control, and focus on westeros.

What do we even need to do in westeros right now?

Right now our focus is primarily switching toward Slaver's Bay and Sarnor, with a secondary focus on the Reach, and a tertiary focus on the Deep Ones.

The Third month our primary focus is either on Slaver's Bay or the Deep Ones with a secondary focus on the Reach and a tertiary focus on Westeros in general (I want to squeeze in an action in the Westerlands to sow some general chaos for the invasion or at least disrupt the Lannisters/flip some people like their dragon riders).

Or go straight for the Gold Shitter, then get Lana to join us out of sheer desire of evading a burning death

I really want Tyene to have a chance to do the small research project needed to figure out how to use the Pathfinder version of the Reach Spell Metamagic, but I don't think we can afford to take her off active duty right now.

I also want one of the Lyas to do the necessary research to greater the 8th level Greater Baleful Teleport spell. It's needed to make our Teleportation Chamber, plus it will be a great combat spell. I think it would be worth her time more than this Research Action:

[] In Hatred Ancient, a Soul Restored: The former Priestess of Spider-Goddess Lollth, cursed into form of a staff for centuries, has not forgotten the slight of her former Mistress. Her soul may have been damaged too much to simply will her into a new body... But with time and effort, she too can be mended back together. (Progress: 15, Cost: )

I've included that one in light of Lolth-y revelations a few days ago, and the fact that we kinda promised the staff to start uncursing it.
Seemed like a good time to.

I suppose we can do the spell-research instead, awright.

Okay, if getting Viserys involved would make anything explode, let's get gim to Slaver's Bay.

It also freed Richard and Mereth to do their own thing. Maybe going off to hunt efreet in the Plane of Fire?

To be fair, she might be another researcher, so we might as well get someone to help sooner than later.

I would say go with the uncursing an ex-priest of Lolth will have better info on her then third hand accounts and she could be useful elsewhere.

Bah, missed the Lorath vote. We should have sent a team of Minotaurs to investigate the Mazes. They love those!

I think Viserys should be assigned to slaver's bay, if only to just be another 9th spell level caster to throw at the problem.
