Nice little omake-snippet. I especially like the countering the teachings the Adeptus Mechanicus with our cult's own values.
However, by my nature I must point out the typos now that I've commented upon it, even if I make as much or more them myself often. First off, shouldn't the title be "Preacher of The Weave"? Next
Should be "brothers and sister". Or depending how the cult develops, maybe "sisters and brothers"?

Actually the street preacher had an older brother who was really annoying and never approved of their boyfriends, and so they decided to retract the r from the word to make it more descriptive.

Not the whole Mechanicus actually. I imagine there would be quite a few Magi Biologus who would be open to the teachings of the Maiden, specially since the rest of the cult does not have as much appreciation for their craft.

We aren't chaos by any meaningful definition though. We don't have the memetic power, or the alien mindset. Or pretty much anything else that say, separates Tzeench from Lileath or Morai-heg.
We are not a race or planet god and represent a simple concept/domain, that sets us apart from non-chaos gods. What separates us from chaos is not being evil. The memetic corruption is pretty damn evil what with the loss of free will involved

Again, the chief distinction between you and the old school Chaos Gods is actually being organically developed from the thoughts and feelings of the people alive in the galaxy today, as opposed to being artificially imposed as a self-replicating machine of war.

(Also, the Verdant Maiden does have a somewhat alien mindset. Like not recognising that humans find having liquid fill your lungs frightening even if it isn't actually dangerous)

Kind of unavoidable for Warp entities. We don't have anything resembling internal organs etc; so it can be a little hard trying to understand why the humans get weirded about these sorts of things.
Speaking of Chaos Gods and their ways, do we have any psykers among our faithful and if so how stable are they in this calmer warp?
