As a note you were in the feywild when you spoke to her. She is literally standing on a natural gateway so she can just decide moment to moment in which realm her tree and the surrounding glade is.

[X] Plan All The Little Things
-[X] The court of Kings Landing
--[X] General information about recent events and trends.
--[X] Rough accounting of which lords are still at court and thus likely loyal to the Usurper.
--[X] Current members of the Kingsguard with how likely they are to stand their ground, flee or surrender when you were to attack the keep with a commando force.
--[X] Recent activities of Cersei in particular.
--[X] The state of the royal coffers and Baelish activities, particularly if he is still doing as the "Ghiscari" want.
--[X] State, location, orders and special equipment of the Royal Fleet.
--[X] Any information on anti-air capabilities of Kings Landing, should such exist at all.

-[X] The Westerlands
--[X] Everything he knows about Tywins current activities.
--[X] Everything on the Golden Shields, their number, order of battle, current deployments and so on.
--[X] A short overview of the current situation between Tywin, Cersei and Robert, especially in regards to the legitimacy of Robert in the eyes of the wider realm.
--[X] All he knows about their dragons. Location, deployments, riders and so on.
--[X] All he knows about potential dissent or defectors in the Westerlands.
--[X] At this point, it should be noted that it would be nice if he can keep us updated on the location of Gregor Clegane and Armory Lorch over the usual channels, since the time is approaching to make a lot of people very happy.

-[X] The Vale
--[X] Current situation of the Arryns, in particular the succession of the old Falcon.
--[X] His current plans with and the status of the Mountain Clans.
---[X] Also have someone fetch the report from Dalla on the activities of Brynden Tully while we are at it.

-[X] The North
--[X] Status of his little plots with the youngest Stark daughter and his opinion on the likely actions of Eddard when the restoration begins.
--[X] Update on his observations about the Wildling situation in the aftermath of our little expedition.
--[X] Also ask him how the scoreboard looks and how many free moves we got him with those stunts.
--[X] If he finished dragging up lore about the construction of the Wall from the Greendream, in particular information that would be relevant to attempts to deploy crew mounted, enchanted weaponry on it.
-[X] The Reach
--[X] The matter of the Rowans and his plots in regards to their daughter.
--[X] Any other pertinent information he has gathered on the Court of Stars and their current plans, especially in regards to the Tyrells and the crown.

-[X] Westeros in general
--[X] General military information:
---[X] Where are our enemies building strongholds?
---[X] Are troops gathering anywhere and how fast could given areas and lords mobilize?
---[X] Any minor threats he never bother us with, but which should be squashed before the big day?
---[X] Any targets of opportunity we could take off the board without escalating too early?
--[X] Faith situation:
---[X] How is the mood of the grumpy old bastards he is hooked up to?
---[X] Any signs of the Seven acting?
---[X] Any activities from the Drowned God or other actors?

That should cover the most pertinent things for now.
This should be good for several good info heavy chapters.

[X] Azel

Aldo, literally these:

I get that there's prolly more, but just bringing to everyone's attention the fact we still have minor shitpiles to take care of.

Aldo, @Azel, would this be a fitting place to get a first on-screen account of how much more busywork we have left in front of us Beyond the Wall?
How many more Trees to move, how many more tribes/groups of ppl OGs can feel out there, etc?
Westeros first. The moment Tywin and Robert dangle from a rope, we are going to clean up and fortify the shit out of the North.

Might be more of a case of Andal masonry practices being more appealing.

Castles like the Eyrie and Highgarden are closer to fancy palaces then actual defensive keeps, implying a shift in situation and sensibilities between their construction and the earlier, far more utilitarian First Men keeps.

So the Gardners wanted a fancy place to hang their banner, while the First Men were content with a fireplace to hang a severed head above.
Thing is, Runestone and Winterfell have majesty, they are huge and while practical definitely seem pretty grand unto themselves given their strength, size and amenities.

Highgarden seems to have been around since before the invasion I thought?

I get that, I get that.

But DP mentioned a short while back that we apparently have a nebulous fuckload of stuff to carry from Beyond the Wall, and it just seems to me like a decent enough place to get an account for "how much, exactly..?" even if we aren't touching that for a while.

this'll probebly take a few updates
Mwhahahah, just like the old times.

The very oldest parts of it maybe, it has been extensively rebuilt. It's posibile that the oldest remaining part of Highgarden is actually the thorn maze

Highgarden was sacked and rebuilt at some point after the invasion. Also, the most well known depiction includes two Norman keeps surrounded by a romanticized castle, implying heavy remodeling at some point.

Perhaps the difference is that the First Men facilitated the construction of their megalithic structures using magic similar to our Titan's Tools, which obviate the use of a lot of tools, manpower, certain skills, etc. The waning of magic could have gutted their ability to build large stone structures, forcing them to learn how to do things the Muggle way.

Of course, this is just an ASWAH relevant speculation. For Canon ASOIAF, it was probably just historical revision.

I think historical re-visioning also went on in ASWaH, it just fits the tone of the Citadel being full of evil grey robed men that the plot doesn't focus on too much.

That and Faith manipulations.

As opposed to the Evil, black robed men that Viserys employs. :V

Marwyn: "I object to that. I'm not employed yet and I'm not wearing black either."
Qyburn: "Give it a week."

Black is always in fashion though.

And we add some red flair to our wardrobe, even! Color isn't anathema or anything to good fashion sense.

@DragonParadox Given that you mentioned BOTH Mind Dragons being in our group and we're all just grouped up now apparently, and the Seeker was supposed to be accompanying our mom and not Rhaella, I'm guessing you have this whole action confused. It's not a big deal since it just means we've lost a day, but Rhaella was supposed to take her part of the Reach group and go off and get those Houses specified in my earlier vote into compliance with us, and then regroup when we're done with Fey business. The turnplan lays out who goes with who at which points and at which locations.

The confusion is understandable and probably resultant due to Ship Rhaella's brief presence on this part of the trip.

Oops sorry about that.

I can promise there won't be anything missed because of the day lost to my misreading, that would be unfair.

[X] "I don't suppose you have some matter you'd seek my counsel on, my Lord?"
-[X] "I do admit that the concerns of the Lord of Old Town aren't precisely the same as the Lord of the Deep, but they are more similar than one would think at a glance."
--[X] If he doesn't need any other assistance, you will try to gather more information in the city.
---[X] You want enough actionable intelligence to start acting next month, essentially.
----[X] Then you'll move on to meeting the three Fey Courts you'd heard about, while Rhaella and her Reach group will meet with House Graceford as a formality, then House Caswell, House Costayne, House Cuy and House Oakheart.
-----[X] If she finishes with that before you have finished with the Fey courts, she will begin a cursory but cautious investigation into both branches of House Fossoway. You will personally handle House Leygood, House Serry, House Osgrey and House Rowan when nothing else can distract you.
@DragonParadox The plan in question which specifies order of events/focus.

[] Through the Depths, the Green, and the Wild: Have the following Fey-Courts known to us visited, and ideally brought into the fold (or at least turned on Court of Stars and neutral to us):

-[] Gooldengrove (the one where there's a Driad-queen guarding a Feywild entrance)

--- Viserys, Sir Richard, Rhaella, Rhaella-ship's Driad, Soft Strider, Waymar, The Seeker, Kira Windgraced, 2 Mind Dragons, 3 Furies, Danar & Alyssa Crowl
-[] Depths (asking for assistance from Merling King to smoothen things out and introduce us well).

--- Viserys, Sir Richard, Rhaella, the Breath Taker, Diana the Sea Sprite (Free Action), Waymar, The Seeker, Kira Windgraced, 2 Mind Dragons, 3 Furies, Danar & Alyssa Crowl

-[] Green (asking for assistance from Bloodraven to introduce us well)

--- Viserys, Sir Richard, Rhaella, Soft Strider, Waymar, The Seeker, Kira Windgraced, 2 Mind Dragons, 3 Furies, Danar & Alyssa Crowl

[] Reaching for the Reach (Cont.): There are many Lords in this Kingdom who still need to be brought into the fold. Continue from where you left off the previous month.

--- Viserys, Ser Richard, Rhaella, The Seeker, Kira Windgraced, 2 Mind Dragons, 3 Furies, Danar & Alyssa Crowl

And then who goes with whom, where and why.

So for those Court actions, only the people under Goldengrove, Depths and Green go with those groups at those points in time.

Actually, I think I know where the confusion comes from, since I apparently accidentally consolidated groups as much as possible here.

At all other points, while Viserys is in those locations, they are with Mom and presumably with the Seeker, Kira, a Mind Dragon and a few Erinyes.

The other group will have Viserys, Richard, a Mind Dragon and Alyssa and Dannar.

Even in canon it really does not make sense that anyone who built the Wall or for that matter Winterfell would need to hire stonemasons of all things.
I would assume that it's because the ability to build those things, required magic and help from the Children/the giants, so with magic waning and the Children/the giants being driven North, the Firsts Mens mundane masonry skills proved inferior to the Andals.

Even in this quest it makes sense, First Men masonry relied heavily on runes, and with magic weakening, they found it became harder and more expensive, to build new things to their old standards, and the Andals low magic solutions, while inferior to what the First Men could do with sufficient runes, were superior to what the First Men could do for the same price in magic.

In canon it was probably more the whole the Giants and Children of the Forest being gone, without giants who could use 50 kilo stones as bricks, and Wargs who could direct small animals like Mice or even insects, to find and patch any flaw too small for a human to easily spot, the First Mens building techniques, suddenly became prohibitively expensive, and much less reliable.

It makes sense, excluding the fact that there is no reason why stacking stones would stop working for the First men once they couldn't shoot lightning. Magic made wards, it wasn't the way they built (hence why we don't see Stone Shaped castles). I mean, magicless Andals could be better artisans, but I don't think that they actually needed them to build, right?
