I hope we have or will have our people talk to everyone from the North for other little gems like Castors keep that are known but not discussed for various reasons.

I'm actually inclined to stay with the caravan and leave the Keep to the Moonchaser group. I don't see the risk vs reward on this going on our favor, if something goes poorly. We know something malevolent is out and about, so leaving the caravan now is just tempting fate.

There are planting Humans in the world, but these Giants may very well be the last of their kind. Losing even a single one of them would be a tragedy.

[X] You have learned from Thennhold. The risk is too great, and the safety of the giants, not Gilly's family, is your priority. The Moonchaser will reach the Keep soon enough.

Sorry, @Duesal. Gonna steal the voting option you recommended to @egoo.

The Far North is vast and sparsely populated, you know a great deal about it thanks to Bloodraven's map, but the Others obviously have some capacity to hide from him. The odds of finding places where their influence is felt through interviewing random Free Folk are quite low.

No worries. At the end of the day the giants are the priority here. We can accomplish more later when we're not stuck playing babysitter.

We have the larder, and some undead in amber we just captured.
At our best possible sustained speed using Wind Walk, it would take us nearly three hours to reach a Heart Tree 50 leagues away, so that's not really a valid option here. The Moonchaser will reach the Keep in two hours or less, possibly within just a few minutes depending on how close it Plane Shifted to Castle Black.

Don't forget to vote, yall. There are plenty of options here, whether you want to stay with the Giants, split up, lead the entire caravan to the Keep, etc.

Crasters family will make undead just as well as any giants the Others might get.
And unlike here we'll have no chance to put them down before they can get away if craster's family dies before the Moonchaser arrives.

[X] Dany, Waymar, Tyene and Xor Windwalk to Craster's Keep to secure his family
-[X] As soon as the Moonchaser arrives everyone still alive gets in and they meet up with the caravan as fast as possible
-[X] Meanwhile Viserys uses Wild Arcana to cast Blinding Glory to better protect the caravan better and everyone activates all 10 Min/CL buffs, they should easily last till midnight

Edit:
Letting winter get free ammo rubs me the wrong way.

don't forget to use sudden widen and lvl buffing before blinding glory if you want to do it that way

I'm not sure Widen makes sense here, the area should be large enough anyway.
Better keep Ancestral Awakening back, in case we need Transdimensional Spell against incorpoeral foes.

About the level, casting with Wild Arcana makes it level 22, good enough.

what would teh range on lvl 22 blinding glory actually be, becouse we have a convoy of large creatures so it might not be enough

@DragonParadox any chance we can nudge blinding glory away from blinding our own evil followers.
None of the people along with us is Evil, though some of the Giants may be of that persuasion, and the lead Giant's mammoth looked like it might be Evil, too. It has suspiciously blue eyes.

2,200 foot radius.

On average, every random sample from a large group of people will be 1/3rd Evil.

Translation: You are going to blind 1/3rd of the Moonchasers crew and 1/3rd of the Giants.

Just the Giants (and possibly Evil mammoth), not the Moonchaser's crew, since they're heading for the Keep and Artemis' plan calls for Viserys to stick with the caravan.

Assuming that Other-made shite is Evil is a bad path, anyway, imo.
I can easily see much stuff in their employ being True Neutral, since they are just that unnatural to the order of things.

I was under the impression that the spell was kept up for a while, thus also affecting the Moonchasers crew when they join the convoy.
Either way, it's a bad plan due to guaranteed the friendly fire.

But the Blinding Glory can be dismissed by the Caster (house rules are that any continuous/concentration based spell effects can be canceled at the caster's will), but you'd have to ask @DragonParadox about that I guess.

I figure, since the light cast by it is also range limited, the Moonchaser could just hover outside of the radius and then the caravan could leave it, as some of the giants being blinded is a lesser evil compared to the necessity of making the camp unapproachable from all directions.

Edit: OTOH, blinding 100+ giants would be a huge pain in the ass to deal with once they are out of danger and might delay us also.

Blinding glory is explicitly anchored on the caster so yes I'd say it can be dismissed as a free action just by no longer willing it into being.
