Hmm. How about devising a ritual to summon the wraiths with their mortal bodies?

We can do scorched earth better than them if we dedicate the resources.
They belong to winter for the moment, I don't think that trying to summon them from the south side of the wall is a good idea. If it worked we'd be opening a hole for them, and if it doesn't we'll be wasting time.

I'm not sure calling the attention of the void to us by poking it with a summoning spell while we're on its side of the wall is viable either.

It sucks, but perfect victory isn't possible most of the time. We'll just need to plan how to do better next time. Maybe some Spirit Rush Elixir for the pilots and emergency Astral Hospice items for the civilians?

[X] Gather up the remains of all those who were slain and can still be returned to life, including the Wyvern pilots if their remains were recoverable.
-[X] Alyssa and Danar will be restored using Wild Arcana duplicated True Resurrection spells immediately upon Viserys' arrival, while the Thenns will be restored using one or more of Dany's Reached Chained Raise Dead spells and the Wyvern pilots via a Reached Chained Resurrection spell once we have returned to the Stepstones.
-[X] The evacuation is to begin immediately, with surviving Thenns loaded into the Moonchasers as quickly as possible, along with what belongings they can carry with them.
-[X] While the evacuation is truly underway Viserys' group, a few Heralds and the Harbinger, along with Nirah, will slay the Wraiths still remaining in the Valley with Viserys using a Wild Arcana to cast Undermaster and then finish looting the Barrows of Thenn Kings. The Others will find nothing but bones and ash by nightfall, as you plan on leaving well before then.
--[X] The other Heralds will gather the bodies of the dead and burn them to ashes while the evacuation is underway before accompanying the ships with the rest of the group.

Do we plan on stealing more population centers right after provoking enormous attacks?
No, but the elixirs would be nice for the next time we ask a low level pilot to dogfight CR 17 ghosts and true Others.

AH bunkers would be useful for any conflict near a population center since they're cheap and sturdy enough that most creatures are going to need to stop and spend an action disrupting it instead of just laying waste with a breath weapon.

It's sort of small, but in a way that's helpful since they'll need to crack open each one - or burn a higher level dispell on civilian targets in a war zone. Nothing is perfect, but depending on how friendly people are willing to get some
Scrolls or single use items could save a lot of lives.

This is a win. We killed a few of their strong CR 17 monsters and killed an Other. Along with desecrating many of their holy sites. We also gave the Old Gods full ability to slap the Others back in the future. All in all, I will take a few hundred CR 13 monsters for this win.

Add these to your goody page?

I want to make an emergency kit for Wyvern pilots. A Spirit Rush Elixir, a Potion of Invisibility, a single-use Feather Fall charm, and a single-use Teleport or Plane Shift charm covers a lot of eventualities and should improve their survivability by a significant amount in an emergency, without being overly expensive.

Whew, that's a fuckload of people we have lost.
The others have definitely paid back to every annoyance we applied here.

Kinda sad, but also refreshing, we rarely fail.

Nah, we still won, we just lost some couple hundred useless civilians.
You did kill off some significant assets and while some Thenns died most of them will get evacuated. I would say you still won, you just did not get off scot free.
Lest you two forget, the main purpose of the op was evacuating the civilians.
Yah, we have failed at that.
Not overly much, but we did.

Ergo, the stuff being refreshing.

Are the Others undead, or so they just use them? If the guy leading this doesn't have undead traits we could try Phantasmal Revenge through anyone he personally killed. If we got lucky he might eat a few 200 hp hits in a row and kick the bucket.

Probably not, but it'd probably piss him off if we spent the next 19 days picking weird times to shoot them at him like a creepy version of ding-dong ditch. Or did he only get the two pilots?
