Yeah, I'd just give him a rod of Sudden Widen/Enlarge or something. Or, you know, there's that build I send you a year ago that can grant arbitrary feats to people...

A Wyvern is light enough that a properly buffed dragon could carry it in it's claws. Which I'm kinda hoping for, because at the end of the day, a Wyvern is a giant piece of metal filled with napalm and explosives.

Regardless of the Wyvern, if I were the other in the cloud, I'd propably first break the Wardstone right now, to get that annoying level drain off.

This latest update makes me think we should research a self-destruct mechanism for our military tech to prevent enemy salvage.

That would put you dangerously close to Moonchasers though.

I'm iffy on the distances involved, but at 220 ft. you are close enough for the point defense turrets to turn you into a porcupine.

As I understand it, the Moonchaser went high to get out of the darkness, while the Stone is still on the ground, inside the spell?

Balerion : I PICK UP THE BATTLESHIP, AND I HIT YOU WITH IT !
DM : Wait, are you properly buffed?
Balerion : I'M BALERION THE BLACK DREAD, BITCH !
...
Balerion (out of character) : Ok, fine, my Dragon works out. He's the buff-Dragon. His Sorcerer-rider made him giant adamantine barbells, or something. When they're not in use, they bar one of the renovated gates in the Wall.

If the Other pulled this off under a level loss and still managed a spell of the Eighth Circle at minimum... Yeah, this might be one of the strongest casters we've faced the entire quest. He's a match even for the Maharaja Rakshasa.

I was thinking about the other two.

Though I think he will be legging it anyway. He just burned a 8th level spell so that the crazy muggles in the flying trashcan wouldn't blow him to bits. A prolonged fight isn't in it's best interest. Not when there's a bunch of people incoming who very much can fight him on even ground.

"Okay but what about physics, he's not a kryptonian dude."

"Dragons shouldn't be able to carry their own weight into the air either."

"That's magic though--"

"Your point?"

"..."

It's sad that this is totally a conversation that would have taken place at a D&D table at some point, some where.

I'm still wondering if Light spells suppressing darkness spells will do damage as usual or not. Also:

Exactly why we need to kill him dead as soon as possible.

[X] Azel

With Nirah's caster level currently boosted to 19th, he has a 50% chance to successfully Dispel the darkness. And he can use Alter Fortune to help, if necessary.

@Azel, Nirah's Sunburst spell might be of some use against the Darkness, too. It's an instantaneous effect, but of equal level and in addition to being powerful and a very large AoE, it's power is heavily weighted against the Undead.

So what happened to the two Wyvern pilots? Were they turned into Dread Wraiths?
If so; we should probably do something about them if only to prevent the Others from gaining knowledge about how the Wyverns function.
I'd like to rescue them if possible; Wyvern pilots take time to train after-all.

I'm not quite getting what you have in mind there, but if you give me the wording I'll add it.

On this note, @DragonParadox, in Moonsong's expert opinion, what was the flight speed of the enemy dragons? While the Others are the Lords of Winter, Death, and Air, Viserys and the Harbinger and Heralds are ludicrously fast on the wing.

If the Wyrnwraiths got them they are dead.

And 1d4 rounds after they died they rose as Dread Wraiths.
