That was a cool undead. Also, there is an Other...I kind of want to catch it and interrogate its ass about everything. If it isn't possible I want it dead.

so that is 1 wyrmwraith and 9 dread wraith killed and an unknown number of namorroddo.
@DragonParadox
1 how many namorrodo have been slain?
2 what direction does the other seem to be pulling back to (is it the direction of any of the locations like the false godswood or observitory)

[X] Your ships outrange them by over half a kilometer, kill the Rider and his mount with cannonfire, both explosive rounds and Alchemist Fire shells. The Wyverns will continue pursuit and end as many of them as possible with their Force launchers, breaking off only when about to lose sight of Thennhold.

Bits and pieces it is!

[X] Crake

also yeah this smells like a trap, unless our other groups are closing in to fast and they don't want to deal with say Viserys, Lya, Almerath ect

Whew, that got the blood pumping! Go Moonsong!

I think Gloryhammer would appreciate our dear Liminal Sprite.

yeah i really want info on where everyone is before we decide to chase them. or have the wyverns chase them a bit, becouse when the wyverns get to far away the blizzard will most likely be able to get on just them and then they get murderised. i want to know why they are pulling back right now and also make sure our wyverns don't get cut of in the storm

I'm puzzled at what happened here. I thought that most Dragons could dive faster than an object could fall?
IIRC falling is 100ft/round, while diving is simply twice your fly speed. Therefore escaping by turning off the enginesseems a little odd...
Although it's true that doing so would easily wreck the enemy's action economy.

@Crake, sending the Wyverns out to hunt down enemies is making them a bit too open to ambush from wind-manipulating and/or Invisible Others' or their minions.

[X] Your ships outrange them by over half a kilometer, kill the Rider and his mount with cannonfire, both explosive rounds and Alchemist Fire shells. The Wyverns will continue to provide fire support for their Moonchasers while keeping the Ward Anchors defended.

If there's an other, I expect them to simply cast Fog Cloud and watch our fire be wasted. IIRC Snowsight doesn't let us see through Fog.

[X]Goldfish.

i really want to capture one of those wyrmwraiths but that depends on where our other characters are.

also yeah reminder this is currently a sky battle lead by a spite and an other. others are also fey so let's make sure this tale doesn't end becouse of good old hubris

Turning anti-gravity off alone might not do the trick, but deliberately using it to accelerate down, with no regard for momentum or aerodynamics, definitely could.

And these things aren't really Dragons any longer. They're Incorporeal entities with a maximum flight speed which has nothing to do with gravity.

Unless it can block the shells, thirty coming towards it each round should still be pretty dangerous.

@Goldfish I think you should pursue more aggressively. The sun is only going to rise higher meaning their control over the weather is going to grow weaker and weaker.

yes but they are most likely heading north (more power) and the wyverns would be heading away from the ships which are just barely keeping the weather in check around them. i feel that the father away from the ships the more the others would be in control

The visual enhancement is a bit more thorough than that.

Moonchasers and Wyverns have the following:
  • Visual Enhancement: The cockpit canopy is enchanted to allow the pilot to see through fire, smoke, snow, clouds, fog, and similar visual obstructions.

hey, @Azel, @Goldfish, is there a way to make a Wyvern utterly invulnerable to everything for 1 round? Preferably without sacrificing momentum?

With the sheer speeds they can go at, it feels to me like ramming might be one of the most effective moves, ever.

Once the sun really breaks through, the Wyrmwraiths and Dress Wraiths will be rendered helpless. If that happens before they can escape, they'll be easy pickings and we can move to finish them off, otherwise I think it's too dangerous to put the Wyverns against Incorporeal creatures.

They have an Other with them. If the flyers end up in the sun, it's because we got close enough to Dispel somehow.
