Thanks @Crake.
Most of the teachers in those branches are Leshies of various stripes (Druid, Wizard, Cleric). We've been kepping most of the "interesting" and decently levelled teachers in SD so far.

We'll be getting another Branch in Braavos and the Clerics of Volantis at some point, but @DragonParadox said it's being worked on by NPCs in the background and will start when it will start. Could be next month, could be in six months, AFAIK we don't know yet. Could start on different months for each city, I guess.
I guess that Lorath will only be added to the sheets next month. It would make sense.

@TalonofAnathrax, I'd shuffle the Treant and Valeria to Volantis to get a better insight and control on their structures.
Doing that now then.

People, it would be nice if we could raise the Manpower Cap for SD and Volantis. Volantis is already over its Manpower cap and we'll be adding another pile of teachers once the Clerics get on board with the Scholarum. Meanwhile SD is already over cap by quite a lot.

We've made some progress in past months, but more would of course be nice if possible. Something to keep in mind with next month's province actions.

We're doing what we can. Manpower isn't quick to raise.

@TalonofAnathrax, I'd suggest to talk the Nagas into a deal where they rotate postings between SD, Naath and Tolos with the idea being to spread their faith in their spare time if they want.

Naath would profit from something that can take the wildlife in stride and Tolos feels somewhat neglected.

@Crake, I'd prioritize getting branches up in Braavos and Pentos next turn.

Mechanically, this would mean putting one Naga in each city? Why rotate them, then? Isn't teaching and proselytizing much easier when you have a lot of time in one place to make steady progress?
@DragonParadox, I like this idea, but I'd like to check if it's something we'll do in an update or if I can just do the change now, quietly.

We just grew 25 new Guardian Nagas. After they get acclimated, some of them could take up positions in the other Scholarium branches. They're capable of both Divine and Arcane magic and have the necessary skills to be excellent instructors.

In the meantime, the originals are going to be helping them get their bearings and shouldn't be assigned elsewhere.

I'm not seeing a problem when we can send some of the new nagas along with them.

Kind of a problem for the preliminary schedule of the next month, it is their versatility why lots of groups got assigned one.
Any replacements that can heal/tank well enough, us needing four of such?

As was pointed out to me when I wanted to send some of them to the Celestial realms in exchange for Lillend instructors, we should probably leave the new Nagas in SD along with the originals for a short while to let them get acculturated. If that's not an issue, though, sending a couple of originals to other branches with a few each newbies shouldn't impede instruction in SD while boosting it in the other branches.

Sending them away on a long-term assignment in Elysium is a bit different though then shuffling them to other provinces within the Imperium. I'd say this works fine if we send 5 newbies along each. That leaves groups of five taught by the three existing nagas and two groups of five to be taught by Zathir and Yss high priest.

I agree with Azel's take on this. Sending them within the Imperium still has them relatively connected to their fellow serpentfolk and Nagas. An extended mission in Elysium or NIrvana is a hell of a lot more isolated in comparison.

That is a pretty nice solution. It's almost like I ordered the 25 Guardian Nagas with that in mind...

You are partially leaking through the curtain. You should have used one that was a bit less permeable in... I think that's the 7th dimension that is leaking.

Once your mass extends beyond the 5th dimension, it's really difficult to wrangle it all back in. The tertiary tentacles tend to get a mind of their own at that point.

Chapter? Chapter!?

What is this? Papa Smurfs fan club? We are making a Legion. With mages and heresy!
They are going to be the poster-boys of the Empire.
Of course we are going to sneak in the faucets to the narrative win-everything-forever Papa's blueberries carry with them!
[:V]

Seriously though, I don't think we are getting more than a "Chapter's" worth in reasonable time, if I remember correctly how the rates for compatible people were set.

Out of curiosity what do you recall the rates for compatible people being? My only concern with the Praetorians was the lack of clarity about their availability, so knowing this would be very nice.

Only fire giants, though fair warning, they would not come out as adults. These are not dragons whose minds can wake through dreaming.
Couldn't we just make adult bodies, and then insert souls in them, sure there would be some training time involved, to learn the abilities of their new species, but I'm sure there's plenty of old people in our empire, who would love the opportunity to be reincarnated as a fire giant.

I'm not proposing to just straight-up reincarnate people into Fire giants, that would be a little too cheesy, but transferring a soul from an old man/woman to a fire giant body grown in the forge, shouldn't be too hard.

Eh. I'm genuinely not sure if the rates are still a thing. They were only added because some people kept insisting that the whole idea was bad and absolutely everyone would need to be augmented without something to barr them from doing so.

Narratively, they make zero sense. This isn't some cargo-cult process where you just cram organs into someone and hope for the best, but a careful procedure tailored to the individual. Custodes, not Space Marines.
