Baleful Light and Empire's Shadow
Thirty First Day of the Twelfth Month 293 AC
"So, do you have any idea what this thing really is?" Waymar motioned at the ominously glowing bluish-green crystal you had extracted from above the quicksilver lake. It shone like a baleful sun in the cavern, perhaps the source of the magic of the strange 'watering hole' as the sun upon the mortal realm gave life to green growing things, but it most certainly was not favorable to more common sorts of life. Prolonged exposure, the sort Lya had arranged by leaving a few cuts of meat and some unfortunate mice here the last time you visited, showed strange patterns of damage. Almost-burns some of them, a few microscopic, almost as though the flesh had been cooked and the strangest thing was...
"It's not magic, not even of a sort that is resistant to temporary disruptions like entropic powers inside a unliving host, or a well made construct. As far as I can tell this is just light... that happens to be highly lethal at sufficient exposures," you reply, carefully picking up the strange substance. It was brittle like chalk and liable to stick to hands, clothes and just about everything else. Depending on how lethal it actually was in more controlled administration you may have just found a new rare poison, a fact of which Waymar is very aware of to judge from the fact that he had broken off a piece to as a gift to Tyene.
"The... light rock seems to be slowly transmuting constantly, like it's burning with some kind of inner fire," your friend shakes his head at the bizarre substance. "Let's pack this up, we aren't going to figure it out in a few hours poking at it. Hells, maybe Denys has some idea. He has been working with wild magic from the Realm of Stone."
So it is that a thousand odd pound chunk of poisoned crystal joins a small lake worth of quicksilver on your journey back to Everfire Dale. Thankfully the clerks there are used to odd additions in their stock and months of worth of handling quicksilver for the wyverns' and
Moonchaser's engines had been more than enough to impress upon the artisans there the perils of dealing with this most ficklest of mundane metals.
Having secured production for the future there was also a slightly more visible task for you to attend to, launching the most recently constructed vessels. Like the ball last night this too could be counted an unofficial part of the Empire Day celebrations beginning next month, though to judge from the almost frantic anticipation of the courtiers aligned in some of the highest stands raised by the docks they seem almost ready to ambush you and jam a crown upon your head unbidden so anticipated was the day they could officially count themselves part of the workings of not just a kingdom but an empire.
The wider citizenship of Sorcerer's Deep and visitors from elsewhere in the realm are, sensibly in your opinion, more impressed at the promise of more ships that can travel as easily though the air as beneath the waves. Once after all can be counted a miracle, but twice more in the span of months, that is starting to be a craft. Long may its working last.
How do you organize the naming of the
Moonchaser's sister ships and what do you name them?

OOC: I thought about just writing up the ceremony myself, but since it is so close to Empire Day I figured it's probably best to let you guys do it in case you want to go with a consistent theme.
