[X] Plan Containment Efforts
-[X] Thank Lord Ashford for his time. You will play later at the feast as planned.
-[X] Send a maximum priority message to the House of Mirrors. They are to divine every landholder in the Reach:
--[X] Has this person made this pact with the Fey?
--[X] Does this person plan to do so?
--[X] Are there close family members who would do so?
-[X] Inform Softstrider, Glyra, Moonsong, Bloodraven, Zherys, Lya, Vee, the Orphne Lord, Melisandre, Hermetia, Shara Rogare and Yss of your findings. You need them or representatives of them for a war council at dawn.
-[X] Speak discretely with Lord Ashfords mother to get her perspective on the situation.
Please change the wording of your plan. "War Council" is very misleading here, dude.

We also need to know who rejected such offers from the Fey. Merely checking for who has accepted an offer leaves too much ambiguity, IMO.

No @Goldfish, a war council is exactly what this is. Our top officials are gathered to discuss the situation and all its implications from a military stance, along with all possible responses from us up to and including war.

Hopefully it doesn't need to come to that, but it certainly isn't ruled out.

I do agree with expanding divination to see who rejected the offers, though. @Azel, could you add that part?

Made the goal of the council clearer, but this isn't a tea hour.

Added to question who rejected the deal and who might be offered it by the Fey.

We have the Feylord's crown, we have remains of Timmie's stolen power in Well of Souls, and we have lots of sacrifices.

Bottom line, we can feed Yss to brim with all those to curse all the Fey connected to the Feylord whose crown we own... that being, the entirety of Court of Stars specifically.

Any other Fey-related sacrifices available, by any chance, @Duesal?

Hmmmm could we ask the Fossoway girl what her house and father have been doing with the Fey? Could get some insight from her.

Not really, we don't have all that much Fey loot.
It's not really mind control, more suggestions in the back of one's mind, subtle ones. 'This is a squid planning to eat your brain, you might want to kill it' is a common one.
That'd be all fine and dandy if we trusted in their good intentions.

So, they are stage-whispering to the Reach.

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT
Edit: now that is fine ninja'ing

What about that crossbow we thought about giving Glyra?
Was it CoS-made, or just random faeshit?
Oh, right, there was the Nameless' loot, but wasn't that deemed too useful to destroy? There were some great enchantments there IIRC.
It starts there and escalates harder than the Emperor of Mankind did after Molech.
Agreed. Everything the Court of Stars has been doing inevitably ends in their Master Plan to take the Reach and bind the people to their whims. Taken by themselves these acts of seeming benevolence are admirable, but in the greater context they're pretty damn sinister.

@DragonParadox In context and put one way, the Court of Stars is the greatest existential threat on our table right now after we slapped Tiamat down a few notches on our priority scale, with only the Deep Ones acting as contenders.

I'd definitely rate the Illithid way above the Fey in general danger, but it's the Fey who want to build their own little whimsical Eye of Terror right now.

And I would very much prefer to have the Reach remain part of objective reality.
