-[X] Aside from extracting a (possibly willing) invitation to play at his Keep tonight, you would like to ask for his support in your bid to subdue the Usurper and his supporters when the time comes, to ask about the nature of his relationship with the Fey and any possible entanglements to be aware of, and to discuss the Star Court and the Tyrells own missteps along those lines as he was a known supporter of Mace due to his days of youth spent in Highgarden. First making sure he is properly warded before mentioning it, and if not offering to loan him a Shadowforged Mindblank ring to keep that knowledge secure. You would do well to have a Lord and Knight of his stature not openly complicit in the Fey's bid to rule the Reach in truth and twist the lives of all within upon their unseen strings for all time, possibly beyond it.

Not really, we have many in reserve and multiple on the way in commission, and he's probably at the center of a Fey plot, or at least someone important enough socially that him working against the Fey would be dangerous enough to eliminate him as a threat ASAP. In the Reach, social capital is more important than military strength since everyone has so many soldiers and knights overall.
 
@Crake, better specify that we reveal ourselves quietly or do you want Buttercup to dramatically jump onto the dividing fence of the joust and transform into the Dread Sorcerer before everyone's eyes?

The problem is that it would make the fey unable to divine him, which is a big red DANGER label on him.

And it would make us unable to divine him too

I'd honestly love a dramatic transformation.

So many people would be paranoid about Viserys being able to do literally anything after that.

The former is a known risk and we can take certain measures to secure his physical safety and make plans to retain his social value if they attack him through subtler means.

If we tell him the truth without protecting him, he's just a liability.

Do we intend to deal with the Court of Stars before or after the conquest?

Because if we are just planning for the conquest, I'd rather go for a "Be on my side when I conquer everything and you will be better" approach rather than unveiling the fey's metaphysical plots.

I imagine we will have to do it at the same time. The fighting the Lannisters/Robert portion should be over and done with soon, we are just way too strong. The hard part is dealing with the supernatural factions that have a stake in keeping us from formally exerting any authority in Westeros.

@Crake, we have three regular Mind Blank rings, one Mind Blank ring with a +6 Wisdom bonus, and eight Shadowforged Mind Blank rings. I would recommend giving him one of the Shadowforged rings. Here in Westeros, that's as good as he needs, IMO.

We can easily take over Harrenhall, the Blood Gate, the Twins, the Eyri and Kings Landing within an hour of the Restoration War starting. Maybe five to take over Old Town.

Mind. We should start building up Forge forces in the catacombs of Old Town. I doubt the Lantern Bearers will mind if we stuff the place with things that snack on the usual monsters.
 
Right now, we have some of the most prominent Lords in terms of influence on our side already, some of which are already in part or totally aware of what the Fey have been doing. They are safe because they are just way too powerful to attack either socially or directly without opening oneself up to a significant amount of risk beforehand and during the attempt.

Lord Ashford is powerful, but his use comes from his youth and standing. He has respect across dividing lines that people like Baelor Hightower would even respect, and he's the one with the most likely unilateral support across younger nobles and older ones. Pulling him into our counter conspiracy will shore up a lot of our social offense and defense, since I imagine most of the Reach campaign will be counter-intrigue and convincing people not to fall for Fey lies.
 
Hmmm i feel like we are getting cocky towards westros. This tourney has changed my mind. If there are enough strong knights to at least challange Richard. They surely have other PC that are as strong would be a real pain to deal with. Remember while the moonchaser can fuck most PCs shit up. They will be able to atleast meaning fully fight our forces. Like shooting our draken beasts out of the air with bows. And targeting and taking out our caster creatures support.

We should discuss that with Lord Baelor, he would make it easier to arrange to keep it hidden until the time is right.

The tourney had people who could fight a well-optimized killing machine in a Joust. Not in melee combat. The only factions who could challenge us in Westeros are the Fey, the Lannisters and all manner of weird cult shit that might exist. Everyone else is easy killings.

Edit: And the Seven. Can't forget those assholes.

I was talking about the deer knight guy. He is formidable enough to actually be a to out fight our armies. Atleast locally
