[X] Bring them back to the palace and to Doran before introducing yourself properly.
-[X] Ask lady Fowler what she remembers happening to her and if there was anything strange happening around her lately. Dig for any information on why and how the Others controlled her.
-[X] Ask lord Dayne how this trist came about.
-[X] Ask them what they are planning to do about the bastard, since this is a dynastic trainwreck in the making.
-[X] Also get Lya, Vee, Softstrider and Qyburn to check over lady Fowler and the unborn, just to make sure there are no lingering problems.

More information gathering, then we make an offer that they can't refuse.

@DragonParadox, I've been meaning to ask, how many months is she pregnant? I'm under the impression it's pretty early or otherwise it would be more common knowledge that someone knocked her up.

Wyvern Anti-Gravity Fighter MK II

The body of the fighter is an ellipsoid measuring 5 feet (1.5 m) in diameter and with a length of 20 feet (6 m). At the front sits a Hardened, conical Quartz cupola that contains the cockpit, thus allowing the pilot an unobstructed view of his surroundings. Folding out from the front of the fighter are two large, swept wings which do not generate lift, but are instead intended to aid in maneuvering. It has a wingspan of nearly 33 feet (10 m) with the wings increasing the full length of the fighter to 30 feet (9m). The wings can be folded close to the fighter's body, thus allowing it fit in a much smaller space than is immediately apparent, such as the cargo bay of a larger vessel.

Due to its Anti-Gravity propulsion system, the fighter can hover in a stationary position, though its single propulsion unit makes this a challenge. It's generally easier and safer to hover stably with decently strong winds, but otherwise a short runway for starts and landing is preferable. The independent control surfaces on each wing are controlled remotely by the pilot via a minor Telekinetic effect. Due to the exceptional thickness and durability of its armor, as well as it being able to form a perfect environmental seal, the fighter can operate in nearly any environment, including underwater or in outer space.

Gargantuan Air vehicle: Squares 12 (20 ft. by 30 ft. / 6 m x 9 m)
Crew: One pilot
Weight: 110,000 pounds (49,895 kg)
Cost: 21,125 IM (6,500 IM via ritual magic & 14,625 IM via enchanting, 25 tons of steel & 30 tons of mercury)
DEFENSE:
  • Armor Class: 22 (+3 Enhancement, -4 Size) + Pilot Dexterity Bonus, Flat-Footed: 18
  • Hardness: 21
  • Hit Points: 720 (gains the Broken condition at 360 HP); 60 HP per square
  • Initiative: +4 bonus to pilot's Initiative check
  • Guardian Figurehead: When activated by the pilot up to 1/Day as a Swift Action, all ranged attacks targeting the Wyvern have a 20% miss chance against. This ability has no effect on melee attacks, rays, or ranged attacks that do not require an Attack Roll to hit (such as Magic Missile).
OFFENSE:
  • Maximum Speed:
    • Atmospheric: 1,360 squares per round (6,800 feet / 2,073 m per six seconds), 772 mph (1,242 km) at sea level, increasing as it gains altitude
    • Underwater: 36 squares per round (180 feet / 55 m per six seconds), 20 mph (32 km)
  • Acceleration: 36 squares per round (180 feet / 55 m per six seconds)
  • Tactical Speed: 18 squares per round (90 feet / 27 m per six seconds) at a Hover (Perfect Maneuverability); greater speed degrades maneuverability.
  • Weapon Systems:
    • Launcher (x2): Damage (4d6 per Steel Bolt or Special), Range: 840 feet (256 m). Special: Explosives, Alchemist's Fire, Liquid Ice, or Sultan's Tribute(see below)
      • Extra-Dimensional Ammunition Storage: Each Launcher is connected to a magically expanded space capable of holding up to 250 (113 kg) pounds of munitions.
      • Energy-Imbued Ammunition: This Launcher enhancement may be activated by the pilot 1/Day. The enhancement persists for up to 90 minutes, during which time all bolts fired from the Launchers inflict the selected damage type (Acid, Cold, Electricity, Fire, Force, or Sonic) along with the corresponding effect described below.
        • Acid: The attack also deals 2d6 Acid damage in a splash to all creatures and unattended objects within 15 feet. Creatures can halve the splash damage with a DC 17 Reflex saving throw.
        • Cold: The attack creates an ice sheen within a 20-foot-radius burst around the target. That sheen lasts 1d6 rounds. Creatures within the ice sheen are Entangled. Any creature within the area of the ice sheen at the start of its turn takes 2d6 cold damage.
        • Electricity: Creatures hit by the attack or who are within 15 feet of the attack are Staggered for 1 round.
        • Fire: Creatures and wood objects within 15 feet of the attack may catch on fire if they fail a DC 15 Reflex saving throw. Burning creatures and objects take 1d6 Fire damage each round until the fire is extinguished.
        • Sonic: Creatures hit by the attack or who are within 20 feet of the attack must succeed at a DC 17 Fortitude saving throw or be Deafened for one hour.
        • Force: No extra effect.
    • Beetle Bombs: A Wyvern typically carries four of these Construct bombs, two per wing, but up to four additional Beetle Bombs can be stored in the bomb bay.
    • Bomb Bay/Cargo Hold: 500 pound (227 kg) capacity.
SPECIAL:
  • Planar Travel: The fighter is capable of transporting itself and its pilot to other Planes up to 3/Day, as per the Plane Shift spell.
  • Visual Enhancement: The cockpit canopy is enchanted to allow the pilot to see through fire, smoke, snow, clouds, fog, and similar visual obstructions.
  • Magical Communication: The fighters are magically linked to one another and mission control, allowing direct two-way communication, even across Planar barriers.
  • Optical Camouflage: The fighter is magically capable of adjusting its coloration to match it surroundings, potentially rendering it much more difficult to spot at a distance.
  • Advanced Flight Controls: The illusory information display system and magical mind interface connecting the fighter to the pilot provides them with a +5 Competence bonus on all Piloting checks.
  • Environmental Systems: The fighter and pilot are protected as per the Planar Adaptation spell. Fresh air is magically supplied to the pilot's sealed cockpit, allowing them to safely traverse nearly any environment, from the depths of the ocean to the airless void of outer space.

Re-posted the Wyvern so that I could link the page to the Navy section of the Armory. It's a lot easier to manage that way rather than having it all in a spoiler box, which has become a lot more annoying to deal with since the forum upgrade.

you have the effect of burning on the electricity enchantment instead of the fire one

I'm happy to see the Dayne situation getting as much discussion as it is. I was worried you guys would just focus on the supernatural elements to the expense of the politics and character implications.

Also one small note, seventeen is of age for Westeros, Jeyne's age would not really be a concern for anyone IC (though Malarys would mutter 'barbarians' under his breath). The greater concern would be the implication of someone who is the heir of her House sleeping with a married lord who is the head of a opposing faction at court.
But would the age difference not be remarked on? Especially given that she's barely of age by their reckoning. It's like if a college professor had an affair with an 18 year old student. Even if he didn't happen to have direct authority over her, most people irl would consider that fucked up despite the fact that she's legally capable of consenting.

Westeros is all kinds of screwy on topics like this, but would that factor not significantly impact people's opinions of him? It seems weird that they'd see his affair in the same light as they would if, for example, he was 46 and she was 30.

The college professor having and affair with and eighteen year old is remarkable from our perspective because we as a society look in askance upon unbalanced power dynamics in a relationship, that can manifest as age or as in the case above by the fact that the professor literally has authority over the student.

Westeros being literally medieval expects unbalanced relationships and is unlikely to make more than a off color joke about age differences. For an extreme case look at Walder Frey. A more run of the mill example would be Kevan Lannister and his wife who was both much younger than him and a hostage in his care when he married her.

You are biased by your cultural background.

Age of consent was shoddily defined in medieval times and generally somewhere between 10 and 14. Marriages among younger children were less common, but socially accepted.

This is a grown man banging a grown woman. End of story as far as Westeros is concerned.

Jeyne's response to Andrew's appearance was kinda telling. She didn't seem happy to see him, though how much of that is from the current situation - waking up in a strange place with a bunch of strangers standing around her - and how much is from a potentially soured relationship, I cannot guess.

Andrew's response to learning the truth should be interesting, too, especially given his supposed devotion to the Seven. I half-dozen to need to perform some me!our modification on him.

While it is important to have your own ethics, it's also important to be able to set them aside when trying to see something from someone else's PoV. I quite agree with you, but it's good to remember that most Westerosi probably won't. To them, unequal relationship dynamics between nobles are basically normal, be it in terms of age or authority. People might make a few jokes about it if you're really crazy (see Walder Frey having kids with women roughly a third of his age) but that's about it.
Obviously this doesn't mean that the Westerosi are correct - it just means that you have to keep that in mind while trying to predict their expectations and the reactions of people raised in that cultural context.

EDIT: Ninja'd so hard while I wrote this.

What? No loot?

I'd have you know that we are looting the heiress of a Dornish noble house, her unborn bastard and the dignity of House Dayne. Granted, the last one is easy to overlook, but it still counts as a disctinct item on the list.

Correction. No physical loot. Political loot is okay. I guess. I wanted to gut this spirit on a tree though. I guess metaphorically gutting House Dayne is fine. Also @DragonParadox was this trauma sufficient enough for the girl to unlock magic?
