[X] Stick to the original plan, you can chat with Alingge when she inevitably comes to see Zhengui, but there's really no need to complicate things. Approach Wang Chao, greet and chat politely, ask for his help.

sincere <3 yay

Does anyone know what exactly the domain conflict Ling Qi has is?
IIRC—and this is largely my opinion—it's got to do with the Roots and Wings vote from way back then, and the juxtaposition of constantly trying to climb ever higher with bringing friends and family along with you, and how LQ's been kinda failing in that regard with Zhengui.

I asked around - it's a conflict between
There is no peace in emptiness, no content in stillness. Stagnation is death; act, change, move, think, and grow until the very end.
and
One person's desires cannot, alone make a home nor a family.
if the Discord is to be believed.
I'm also told it hits in 3-2.

Speaking of those insights, I cant really say I am that fond of the direction that this one:
One person's desires cannot, alone make a home nor a family.
Has been taking recently. Like it is becoming more and more a tool to make LQ bend over for everyone else. She also got desires ya know and a relationship should not have just one of the parts doing all the work. I would really like to see the others take LQ's desires into consideration sometimes.

I feel like the conversation with Bao Qian gave us a hint as to Ling Qi's fundamental issue: she still has no idea what she wants, as opposed to what she doesn't want. Her existence is still largely defined by her impulsive and unnecessary decision to flee her home, the years spent alone on the streets with nothing but a few mementos she held on to, and her desire to never end up in either of those situations again.

I think it might end up tying into her habit of finding other people on the outskirts of her social groups and poking them into finding ways to engage with them; Bai Meizhen, Li Suyin, Su Ling and Cai Renxiang all share that characteristic of being people disconnected from others who were brought out of their shells by Ling Qi, albeit still a work in progress in the case of CRX.

i don't see the point of risking failure by somewhat lying of the other option.

[X] Approach Alingge first with a friendly greeting. You did say you would introduce her to Zhengui after all. Make a point to discuss what you're trying to work on within hearing of Wang Chao, and then greet him as if you weren't expecting him.

I ain't joining the bandwagon *blow raspberries*

I think the idea of Ling Qi overwhelming Wang Chao with cuteness is hilarious, but damn it, the reaction about how being a bit more subtle isn't sincere or isn't PMR worries me a lot.

Like, PMR works completely with, well, being eager to show Zhengui off to Allinge and talking about all our true issues and so on. It's not about being upfront on 100% of what we are doing, it's about being sincere and upfront about the thing we are engaging with right now.

This frustrates me because the Wang Chao being overwhelemed by cuteness seems like such a better scene, but it feels we are shooting ourself in the foot by trying to be overly restrictive on the actual themes of how we want social to work for Ling Qi.

Huh, yea looks like if we get to support our ally who's at 4 rank with us we get a rank boost to composure to C instead of having D so it turns into doable but not ideal with all thats been said so far.
